Hello everyone, I have found it necessary to write a travel journal eye here that was missing from my country happy planning CT, not so understand what expects me, where do we start, equipment, maps, what does the path etc. Try to do it here in the coming months.
The main preparations of the country were talking with Ronnie, and Miko (again, thank-you!) and buying all the maps and accessories: Yogi's book, GUIDEBOOK, DATABOOK. Read the book of Yogi divisible by two: preparation to do before for school way.
Landed a week and a half before kickoff (the opening of the p c t held every year during the last week of April, there is plenty of equipment, information, food and everything needed to start and he happy CT was performed in the 20th mile to Lake Morena). The goal is to go as fast as the road before kickoff (5 days before) in order not to be part of "a lot of travellers starting together after the kickoff.
Bernie and Sandy, Trail Angel, picked up at the airport they live in San Diego (calibrated with two months beforehand) and I. I came without equipment. I need to buy everything from stocking level through the CAP to an old sleeping bag in short everything. Tip number one: 5 days not enough shopping. I'd say a week and a half at least Bernie and Sandy got pretty busy every day for about 10-15 for bikers who get free meals are crazy for example today we had chocolate fondue for dessert. Each day they are engaged in transportation, REI, super market etc. In short, amazing people. Most I do shopping at REI (who closed it's excellent equipment stores), Bernie and me. The only rule that guides me is about equipment is weight. The goal is not to pass the 11 pounds.
The equipment is really, just come here and realize that people download pants have tags behind to save weight. The case I'm buying for example weighs 500 g-probably hold for p c t and that's what counts! Easy now!
Everything here is so cheap compared to Earth. I did not bring anything from Israel and I don't recommend bringing something that's all here and it's looking much better.
Soon get equipment list including pictures.
The path I start with our age and another goal beyond weight and she didn't complicate, so right now we're not going to send mail as: food waiting for us down the road or equipment, maps etc, just so as not to be dependent on the mail. Maybe later we'll change tactics.
In short, preparing the country mainly number of Yogi and mentally (age equipment available from REI and double Customs his purchase in 2 so it is advisable to do this ...). It is important to go two weeks before and settle here, to use people who did for their vast knowledge and do all your shopping here in Israel there's really nothing to do too much, just to get here.
We start with two, four days before kickoff (return to rides are organized through the website http://pct77.org/adzkickoff).

THATS IT.

There's so much more information to whoever wants to send me a private message and I'd love to!
Successfully.

And you saw that last track. Really tiny.
So what case?

No matter what for? How did you go? How the people around? See also pictures.

Through Idlewild ski town. Stayed three days in and holiday partying in restaurants and at the movies. Don't miss her although Bastia of a few miles for pretty steep side.

Envy.
I have a flight to Verona on July 1 until my first step on Alta Via 1 Dolomites only fantasize and jealous.

All the best.

Hello from WARNER SPRINGS!

So we moved the first 110 miles. Not simple at all. 30% of the people retire here at Warners from shock. But the scenery is just awesome!
Some 600 people's concentration: kickoff, all nice, very refreshing feel. 3 days just enjoyed every minute of it. Great meals, lots of information on the State of water, snow, polar bears, equipment, etc. And small gifts to aiikrim.
In addition to trail my first magic was there I got a bag for free! Just two nice discourage (that helped them in the early days that was them) who bought a new bag and loved him, brought Li (gansport case turns out quite popular here, weighing 1 kilo).
So I welcome the amendment the first killing my back and now I'm with gansport!

The akickaoff continued, now with 6 liters per day it. There every day so water cache while it's no problem, just insanely hot and we drink a lot!
Days 14 hours walk about 20 miles more or less.
The trail now is very convenient, of course, climbing slowly, slowly and full of snakes.
An amazing thing we discovered is that everybody loves Israel, anyone who hears we Israel
Really happy and interested in the position, we try to be good ambassadors and to explain the situation here in this country pretty objectively in principle people think we ride camels and all Israel is talking and full attacks etc. The State Department doesn't function.
The most common question here after the excitement of Israel ends is: what the hell are we doing here and why precisely CT, Happy Valley just wrong. As the day of Atonement only question everyone asks is whether you meditate. Kinda sucks.

So we came to Warners springs a very nice town, of course, the only reason to come here is. In order to enter spring must stay here overnight, regular price $ 120, for bikers pay $ 20.
Was trail magic namber 2, ACE, 61-year-old lovable guy who came all the way from Alaska to do only the first 110 miles and hour age two nights + extra expense simply because he had helped him a little harder during the trail. He insisted and left us options.

In summary, awesome! In the meantime, enjoy the simple, beautiful people for Christ.
The next day arrive at iidlovid, after iidlovid fires have so unclear, what are we going to do for your away closed until big bear city by rumors.

So far so good

But the long way North and the enthusiasm of the beginning still. Need for riiksim.
The most important thing at this point would be to keep the body from otibedit and excessive mileage per day.
Recommend you to take the path to Zero days throughout the month and a half.

We Israelis reluctant keep elohim for the mass or the generosity of other Kings.
Let's not forget that we have to be in the box of a path for other Angels where the game is.
I'm glad you implement it. It always returns and dividend for so amazing.

That would be a lot of success.

Hello everyone,

Surprising how Rumors spread fast!

But unfortunately I am not on the trail. After a week and a half and I decided to split due to incompatibility. We each only. And after a few days of loneliness and search partner I decided I didn't want to like this show the p c t (there's obviously a lot of other people on the trail, but it's actually the day you travel alone and sometimes in the evening with other people).  And therefore have to postpone it for the next year and go with my best friend in the hope of getting a permanent service.

Disappointment has nothing to say! Ensures that next year I will continue from where I left off.

Laos and Vietnam-!

I went to see if collected more in detail than letter he wrote me yesterday:

Hi i'm at kennedy meadows
Going up tomorrow "
Cheers
Besides he updates images on Flickr
But I see that is not updating. So I will update what I talked by phone two weeks ago when he was at saplis:
Good condition, he travels with another pair. Most days he goes apart from them, but at night they sleep together.
This year's travel peak year of over 400. It is estimated to be some 70 people face, but still difficult, and he says this year a lot harder than usual so that he has a problem of water.
His knees are holding up, but as of two weeks ago he kept no rate of 20-25 miles a day to keep them.
He's very happy with his equipment, but he returned some $ 400 worth of equipment to REI to lose more weight.
This is more or less what I remember.

I have no idea how many members of the Forum: companies/linking to images of gathering that can by "Liko and Michal.

Just amazing. .

This year, in February, had an unusual experience on Grand Canyon In Arizona, in late February/early March.

(I uploaded some images)

The amount of snow that fell this year in the United States in high percentages (someone told me over 60%above the annual average). And of course on of thePCT that traverses the Sierra Nevada (and largely overlapping toJMT FILMS DISTRIBUTION), everything is covered in snow, there is no doubt that this is an extraordinary experience to go in this area, crossing water flows from the snows thaw (fording). the changing Lakes from Lake to Lake and also depends on the day.

From what I saw in the pictures collected did at least two deviations from the route once every Mount Wihtny ,

And II to Yosemite (toHalf Dome, including maybe changed him, and at dawn and dusk, one amazing sights in the world).

According to my assessment collected is already North of Toulomne Meadow Where do many of the

TrueHiker,before continuing North.

From what I was told, there is a vast amount of snow in Oregon and Washington, which may hinder progress, or

Although some changes in course.

Enter and see the pictures. .

Note: the saw to someone who knows about computers and photos he said they underwent a process

Of processing, but hot anyway.
