There are enough. Besides the high Sierras where there really is 5 to 10 days of carrying (depending on your walking pace) and where and how you want to obtain.
Then there's the whole towns 80-100 miles.

It is better to know the way than to follow the program which probably won't happen anyway:)

Your table doesn't make any sense in terms of distances and rates.
Check the cut. Inserting a walking pace of 3.6 miles per hour? Or is it a 3.6 km/hour 3.6 km per hour is very slow. You go much faster than that.
And end on 20 October is a very bad idea in terms of weather.
This could be simply mistakes. I suggest you do a site information and monkeys pass the information to a file.

Hi Eyal.
I have to ask because I'm going to do the PCT soon.
You keep talking about rates much higher than I'm used to.
For me it's good 4 mph pace.
15 miles per day is a good rate.
But then you can more torn.
It was in the Israel National Trail (INT) and I'm in good shape.
That means roughly a 10-minute break every hour,
And 1.5 hours at major breaks in the day except the hapscot.
And that the rate of most of Israel.
What about PCT?
Maybe we're talking about weights?
I'm talking about 12-15 pounds.
Soon I get some questions.
Thank you

Lowry-soon catches on the PCT is not Israel, it's trail walk on another world, another rate. You go there differently than you think. Don't rest for ten minutes every hour, but going for yourself as possible and then, sometimes I went 12 miles until the first break, but that's me. You fly to the u.s. to go and that means a lot. You're going to go as you did on, Israel is an entirely different experiential. Don't imagine it's the same. It is much more challenging and fun. You find yourself Cyperus larger distances and relish. It's just another trail. Watch for and expect nothing. You're not going to You have more powers you never knew and meet there.

Hey Ben
You're talking about a lot of other things. Other weights. Other rhythms. Other area. Another world.
Most of the Israel trail travelers going and it too 1000 km and more than enough for them. You're talking about more than 4000.
To understand what this is all about just you. 15 miles a day that maybe you start rate. Show you how to get the quick rhythms and truly 25 come ל35 and 40. (This is actually a false mean you have or just a statistical thing)
The weights that you talk about light years farther away than the PCT. I went with a base weight (without water and food) of 3.8 pounds. So you can understand the differences.
What you seem to not fit in shape and stamina that you develop within two months of intensive hiking.

Israel National Trail cute but not quite enough to develop endurance and large walk. He certainly did enough to investigate whether you like and want more giant trails or not that is short enough to finish it and to feel hungry or exhaustion.

There are no rules and no rules. For the overwhelming majority of Israel going on the cool. Because he's so comfortable in terms of walking and closeness and style. For like the PCT going fine. But a little differently. There also have a time limit and weather. The challenge is totally different. The trail is not difficult. But the difficulty is overwhelming and emotional.
At a rate of 15 miles a day you have a chance to finish this path during normal before you launch ithesh and welcome. First desert there are sections that you must go. And go.
It's a matter of when. A different gym. It's called trail shape. And you get it when you go. From my notes. They don't come to lose. Vice versa. I envy you. Are you going to go for the most beautiful and perfect that I went on with my life. It would be a Grand experience. And the rate? The pace will come. Don't worry. But it is important to get people perspective about what they are going through. It's not Israel and further trail. Perfectly feasible task. Just be ra?lism and listening to people who were there.

Oh how I envy you.

I'm not leaving trails. But if there is one path from those who did until the day I can return it. The PCT.

Ask questions. We're here to help. Most importantly ... Don't be afraid of anything. If everything works out for you.

You're doing imtl craving for this specific responses.

I love the mountains it could be relevant in terms of the views that I run into them?
Because I'm already starting to plan something/year for two years.
* Think of the Via alpina full years *

With telecommunications. The via Alpina haven't gone yet but I plan on it for years. Full track I don't care but to cross the Alps. So I have no opinion on it. Consider it a few route of trying to do so that you will be completely alone. If you are in the mountains and these distances then you might want to practice it a little.

The PCT is a completely different world. The PCT is a mountain route. A given name. The Pacific Crest Trail. Don't repeat my opinion about path. I'm still getting royalties.

Maybe I'm overreacting with the quantity, but it's pretty important questions. Happy to answers.
I'm a little bit of pressure to close the small decisions that I fly to India three weeks and 15 April.
In India I don't even have a trekking equipment, so that the equipment purchased specifically for PCT.
1. reserve a few days in San Diego to buy equipment and sending packages?

2. why to go before kick off, is there a problem with the water caches will be flushed immediately, if not?

3. Why have leggings? All regions or only in Sierra

4. rain gear? What is better? From above? Poncho? Take all the way Or only in Washington?

5. what happens if you meet a bear in Sierra Exactly how the box help

6. When can I obtain In the evening? In the morning? Or taking the day off? Until what time stores open?

7. What is better? Yogi and maps? Or Yogi and dthabox? Need a Yogi?

8. maybe a smartphone? They have applications for pct?

9. What are the map transition towns? (To which we should send in the maps.)

10. in some towns, but nowhere to buy food? Where should I send food?

11. the Sierra equipment shipped to Canadian ' hamstring?

12. Sierra replace tatonka khumbu case 60 + 10litter-2.23 KG
Or stick with what I wrote.

13. water caches: How do I know where they are? And whether they believe? The only place caches of Angels is in Southern California? There's a list?

14. where can I get a pepsi can stove? What of it? Alcohol or tanol? How to fill it? How many milligrams is enough?

15. sandals, crocs, flip-flops, even without Recommendation?

I planned to buy goods.
Bags-$ 200 1KG ULA circut
Http://www.ula-equipment.com/circuit.asp

Shcsh weighs 774 g on $ 295
Http://www.golite.com/UltraLite-3-Season-Quilt-Long-P854.aspx

$ 245 tent weighs 900 grams
$ 190 shoes

Silk liner $ 25 http://tinyurl.com/oajeaud

Questions about equipment:
1. are there any sites of quality secondhand Lite? Or anyone here wants to sell second-hand equipment?

2. How do I save the shipment, if I have relatives in the u.s.?

3. How does still cut prices and still remain with light and good

4. in India and Nepal could find this stuff cheaper than us?

5. What if Chinese imitations? There is such quality goods high-quality imitations?

6. where a country can examine the case and shoes sit me?

7.-someone tried patent no? How he still retains 20 f
If it is not even close Need a special mattress for him or platib.
The shortcut and that bag-liner thing enough?

8. How about the tent? I haven't seen him in reviews.

9. with the gear it says and clinging to some additional equipment (ultra Lite access)
With a few pounds you appreciate me going?

10. how connected the case the mattress? Horizontal? Vertical? Downstairs? Upstairs

Many thanks for answering the questions.
If your question sounds so stupid just to torture her.

1. reserve a few days in San Diego to buy equipment and sending packages?

1. There is a clear answer. Assuming you don't have any equipment and you have to buy everything new, so you'll need some time. A couple of days. Add a few days after. And say.

2. why to go before kick off, is there a problem with the water caches will be flushed immediately, if not?

2. someone told you to go before kickoff? Bullshit. I began two weeks after the kickoff and was fine. If you start in June by then you will have a problem with the water caches will be flushed immediately.

3. Why have leggings? All regions or only in Sierra

3. low dust prevention are sewed and small stones to shoes and leggings and snow high in the mountains.

4. rain gear? What is better? From above? Poncho? Take all the way Or only in Washington?

4. a matter of style. There are those who love the coat and poncho. A poncho have to get used to. Take all the way. Me moavi rain and snow three times in Southern California. In Washington. My rule should be that when it rain you get wet anyway. When it's dripping so poncho enough. Therefore ... From above. Again, a matter of style.

5. what happens if you meet a bear in Sierra Exactly how the box help

5. the box is not against the bear. But against you. The food is inside that if bear gets you this so he couldn't open it and eat. Then used for human food and become harmful. The next box to protect the bears from getting used to humans. If you encounter a bear then encounter a bear. They are harmless and simply stay away. Especially if it's mom and puppies. Unlike what people think about black bears. So if one attacks you, then to fight back and lie on the floor and not move. Because if the rare case and black bear attacks you then it for prey. Then you fight for your life to be different snack. Very cute bears and usually simple run the second they see you.

6. When can I obtain In the evening? In the morning? Or taking the day off? Until what time stores open?

6. for whenever you want. What is here. Opening hours vary depending on the town. All information on the net and in books.

7. What is better? Yogi and maps? Or Yogi and dthabox? Need a Yogi?

7. lfemiil maps. . Don't need anything else.

8. maybe a smartphone? They have applications for pct?

8. don't go with a cell phone. And begin to search the grounds. A matter of style. What is an application for PCT? The phone will go instead of you the for

9. What are the map transition towns? (To which we should send in the maps.)

9. you ask questions that you need to explore and plan your route. There's an iron law of like this. Anyone who submits to places he wants according to his pace and more needs and desires of others.

10. in some towns, but nowhere to buy food? Where should I send food?

10. back again You need to find information in the network and start planning your PCT. It's not something to start thinking about a few days ago. But if you already go this path before, and you already know the whole drill.

11. the Sierra equipment shipped to Canadian ' hamstring?

11. I collected it in Walker pass and stopped Canadian Dawes!. But the overwhelming majority are sending there.

12. Sierra replace tatonka khumbu case 60 + 10litter-2.23 KG
Or stick with what I wrote.

12. do you want to lose weight do not add weight. Of course not replace respect. Do you ever go with? Because if you don't, you should know what you're doing because otherwise your equipment quickly and itavla falls apart.

13. water caches: How do I know where they are? And whether they believe? The only place caches of Angels is in Southern California? There's a list?

13. There is an ordered list that is updated several times a day. I say again ... You need to start gathering information seriously and plan the path. Because right now, probably not.

14. where can I get a pepsi can stove? What of it? Alcohol or tanol? How to fill it? How many milligrams is enough?

14. build. It is 2 minutes work. The fuel that HEET PCT yellow. Depending on how you cook and how effective your Pepsi-Stube If you haven't used the world build and try.

15. sandals, crocs, flip-flops, even without Recommendation?

15 again. Camping in front of shoes. If you decide to take it easy and take the best.

Questions about equipment:
1. are there any sites of quality secondhand Lite? Or anyone here wants to sell second-hand equipment?

1. Run search.

2. How do I save the shipment, if I have relatives in the u.s.?

2. you don't

3. How does still cut prices and still remain with light and good

3. save more money and are waiting for discounts.

4. in India and Nepal could find this stuff cheaper than us?

4. clothing. Forget about everything else.

5. What if Chinese imitations? There is such quality goods high-quality imitations?

5. f

6. where a country can examine the case and shoes sit me?

6. If you could buy in the country as all cost questions you asked were irrelevant?

7.-someone tried patent no? How he still retains 20 f
If it is not even close Need a special mattress for him or platib.
The shortcut and that bag-liner thing enough?

7. If you haven't slept with never buy a quilt. It's something really loving and just.

8. How about the tent? I haven't seen him in reviews.

8. good tent. Good company. Look for reviews online.

9. with the gear it says and clinging to some additional equipment (ultra Lite access)
With a few pounds you appreciate me going?

9. you need to answer this question.

10. how connected the case the mattress? Horizontal? Vertical? Downstairs? Upstairs

10 well it is a little silly question.

Hi Eyal.
I would love if I could talk to you on the phone.
Many of the questions you answer this personal style.
Ploughed the Internet as much as I can.
If you've noticed, many of the questions here relate to reliability of information I read on the Internet.
My personal style is.
I traveled four years ago, the Israel National Trail, so I tried to take as little equipment, and equipment, so most of the path made with 10-12 pounds.
In the desert we have fifteen in some difficult logistics.
But the equipment was not Lite,
But a case of 2.23 kg
That sucks, no kg, just simple gas burner platib
Just assume that the equipment will not be used us army and itavla.
I'm going to walk another guy, we're both really in good shape,
But we want to have fun on the trail.
I decided to invest the money and also olteraliit approach.
The problem is that most of the equipment is international, so I want people to say what they think about the equipment they used.
For example: If I don't buy quilt how do I know if I love it or not?
Question answering questions there is information online, so I don't know what to search-for example-ultra Lite second-hand equipment,
Or what sites have good discounts.
Or, I don't know whether the information is reliable.
Reliable water caches list updated.
You write only to Warners springs to send food, Americans claim there places.
Or say I heard bkic op parts Pepsi Stubbs.
In question 6 used write all the information throughout the network. But I couldn't find the exact information about the towns. And if the containers are closed early?
Or sit down? And what a day it is closed?
I get a little discouraged than questions at some point, but it's something I really don't know.
Leggings are really useful against?
My search on the Internet starts here, and the answers you give me will remain in the Forum and allow many more skiers followed to get this information in Hebrew, it saves a lot of time.
And thanks again for the time you spend for answers. This is hardly obvious.
If more people want to relate. ...

Hey

You are more than welcome to talk to me on the phone and meet. Give you a number.

Start it don't rescinded any questions. Really there are a lot of things it's just a matter of personal style and not help anything. Listen to all the advice in the world. Eventually you will need to open your personal style for. And Israel start trail but not metric. The way walking trail in the country and as you describe, you go, you go. When you have no limitations of time and weather. It's really really meant it to be a matter of personal choice between style and form.

You think you're in shape. But you don't trail shape. It takes a few weeks to get in to Traill shape. Here we are talking about a completely different type of fitness. That doesn't mean it's something you get. But simply that you're not there. Like anyone starting a course. Need to get used to and to mentally more than physically. If you're in shape.

My advice to you is Forget about out for Israel. Of the style, how he is built. Of the culture around him. Forget about it. Take away only the love for walking and hiking. Everything else is irrelevant. He was a good and ours. But not metric.

First of all read the quilt network. Run a search on YouTube and see videos and ... Come see my quilt

All sites that sell the equipment make discounts. It's almost Christmas. Wait for discounts of middle and late January. They're trying to get rid of merchandise.

I don't see where I wrote to send food to Warners springs
The Americans say a lot of things.
Unfortunately here it is a matter of personal style. I went and I sent like 4 can shipments strategic points which was subsequently completely redundant. It is possible to obtain everywhere and even in the last inhabited place before it staiken Canada. If you're not picky about the course menu. And you won't be .

Please ... A simple search in Google appears as the first link:
Piciti water caches list

So maybe you don't know how to run a search on the net. So if you meet and help you reach. In fun.

You forget that it is in USA. On Friday, everything works normally. There are also towns that open on Saturday and Sunday, too, sometimes rare. You need to obtain information on the net about the production of the PCT towns. So I go back to what I wrote earlier. Maybe you really don't know how to search. So to help you. There is also the number of towns, Zen If you like this you can obtain it.

Don't give up. It might just seem that way because we write and something that sails down the wrong way. I am more than pleased to help you. I don't think making your food to feed you. I think and believe that whoever wants to go that long path should develop independence. Thinking. In access. As Baker. As a person. So I think that my answers are supposed to donate to you in that direction. And where direct. If no then I'm sorry.

What do you mean leggings help against? Tall leggings prevent snow inside into the shoe and you get wet. Crossing rivers if until the height insoles that can still help. Depending on the flow and quality of leggings.

This forum has tons of information relative to the fact that it is a local path. I don't think there's another foreign forum gives information about the PCT. The point is ... That part of the fun is to gather information. Is to plan your route. So you won't find any information on the Forum. So I just answered you questions like we did until now. (Ahhammm ahachm aiikrim of this forum-ditching!)

I meditate on all the time. I really appreciate people who want to get into that thing I like so I give you what you need. But in my way. Once again.. I believe that to be the best Baker you should develop independence. And it also means making mistakes and sometimes nonsense. Just not near rivers.

No footnotes available on rivers

Anything else you might want to consider. There are many company asked and was told that they are planning to go in 2012. Maybe create contact and consult with them about their preparations.

At every stage.
And if you think walking trail that offers six months then you in the wrong place.
I'm 31 and studies which is a part of my life.
I'm not taking a break or vacation. It doesn't break or vacation. But nothing in life I do like France or to advance at work or studying, or anything else.

Course and timing restrictions.
But the big limitation is that you yourself generally.

It doesn't add up does work (freelance or not a very expert) but the stag trip is your decision and most of the time you knock all the troublesome thoughts and focus on where you are now and in a few months when you get back. Nothing will happen if you take a few months.
