Start early says when I cross the Sierra. If I start two weeks before the regular time, and average pace, get Sierra two weeks before the regular time coming to Sierra.
If normal year recommendation is to reach Sierra around mid-June, starting around the end of April, I arrive to Sierra probably early June.
In terms of snow in the Sierra, there are currently less than average for that time, and it can only conclude that this continues. Of course, a terrible Blizzard this week could change the situation (and indeed, should be some snow in California this week), but I'm willing to bet that this year won't be a record year in terms of the amount of snow. I'm willing to bet that in the start date for mine, actually.
I know as I get close to, then I can decide whether to pick up the pace or slow down and wait a few days there, if necessary.

The Sierra Nevada it mostly when the snow thaw and whether snow or meters 2. Anyway, even in the case that aseira receives still comes in and waits at KM long. If you're starting April 12th you will arrive in late May. Unless you plan to go really slow rate in Southern California.

Anyway it's not that affect extension in Washington because it's just too early for. In Washington, even in late August early September can be blizzards. Don't think too much. Washington actually more stable in October than in September in terms of weather.

Well, until I get to Washington, I'm sure you know.
This year is already mid-September there were severe storms, and many people find it very difficult to finish the path. Some of them did not end all kinds of bypass. I hope to get there a little earlier. But right now you can't know anything anyway.

The point is about. There are relatively few connections between the start date of when you come to Washington. There are so many factors and the distance and time

So big that it's hardly relevant. Unless you start in March or June in relatively extreme beginnings border it.

All 12 starting in April will give it relatively early arrival to Sierra and wait in KM. Not much more than that.

At least that's my opinion.

Many people also tended to first snow in Southern California because they think it's stories and understand how snow came to the desert.

Many people are scared to aseira skip and bypass and come up with many inventions.

What people do and will do is irrelevant. What you want is what determines.

If you want to finish for you to finish. I have no doubt what you're capable of. Go the AT. You go too. Even if you finish at the end of September if necessary.

Hello everyone,

I want to get back on track the PCT season and I wonder if I have some time to regroup.

Some details, I've never been to thru and my experience hik adds trekking in Africa and in the East for a few days to a few weeks.

I have a sister who lives in New York, and I have a valid visa.

If I have more time to get organized? I'd love to see someone do Forum members.

My agenda right now, I live in or Yehuda.

Thank you very much for your help, wait for a response, and hopefully I can go on meditating in nature for five months.

Hey Gil,

I think it is still possible. You have at least three weeks. How to read? You have enough money?

The first thing you want to do is make sure you want to exit. Immediately after that you need to obtain a certificate and a permit to enter Canada. Then close a ticket.

All the equipment you can buy in USA before you begin so don't worry about the test. Integrity you can always do it later.

Read what is written on the forum first, and then ask all the questions you have, it might help other people too.

Idan

Hello,
Like the age said, try the entrance to Canada first (I'd send them the request as soon as possible, and trying to talk to someone as soon as it comes to them it may be better to buy a ticket and fly to us already without waiting for confirmation will come back to you). About approval of the PCT was also in touch with the PCTA, but in principle it is possible to obtain such certificates on the spot at KO (assuming that you plan to get there in time).
About equipment and another organization, everything you can do from there, whether it's equipment, or organization of deliveries. You might have a little bit more nervous at the beginning.

You are welcome to join the Facebook group opened with anyone who goes out there this year, if you want to consult some other things. Send me your email and I call information.

I tried to search for information on how to get certificates, where do we start?

I have some doubts as to whether I built for thru-hike Can I meet with someone from the Forum members and is in the country?

I feel like it but know so little and don't know where to start. Read the page on the Pacific Forum here of preparations before the country buying equipment etc.

Everything else is up in the air, I'd love to help,

Gil

You want it, or do you do it? I did not understand

However, the first question

Http://bit.ly/1pWetXL (First link repeat on every basic question you need to answer about her)

The second question: you know

The third question: I go this year so I have no experience on the track. Suri. All I know is that right now in theory and through your feet.

One last question: sent me a private email

I returned several days ago from a few weeks ago with a friend.

I joined them from KM to Yosemite (so we walked the JMT FILMS DISTRIBUTION and some more).

I hope to bring here some more organized reporting, shishka. Meanwhile an appetizer:

Dear shine!!!

So good to hear from you, I'm really excited.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to follow up on reports of the era and in the last three weeks "lost you somewhere", but I thought you much of the Sierra and hoping you are doing, I'm glad you got back safely.

Thanks for the picture, I wait patiently for more photos and reports

Welcome back

As they spoke, their blogs "Yair" meant for you "HarmonicWave" so (recall) I heard enjoyed for and towns, you transfer thinking "finish high, everyone keeps on PCT. And Bill tidy. And that's how I got ... " I think I'm going to ask for all these percentages I am trying to get to the PCT. Someday, my friends, someday!

Roici, I think you can (maybe) to ask you about those percentages seem to erode.
