Get ready for snow, cold, take warm gear
Need to check just before the departure for to see if you.
There will be no point of going out if snow meter.
Don't think there's anything exciting in the Appalachian kickaop, so a lot of people it doesn't matter.

-Enclosure in the beginning and was very desirable to put the port in three weeks.
That you don't rest in mid-March have you start right in. You can practice some on Florida then begin in Springer.
Suggest you check the start dates of the Kings piers in the Facebook community 2015

The trail takes six months. A maximum of 5 months and it was considered rather slow. I'd say that it's more or less 4.5 months time.
In the early March you significantly reduce your chance of surviving because it means the path to two months frozen
Of course, if you were born in snowy mountains and accustomed to temperatures so I take my words back.
But if you and Israeli birth and do not have experience in dealing with an extreme genre, so you're taking a risk.

He heard me. Down to South Florida and do some 300 miles of Florida.

The kick of nothing to be unless it is important that you meet the author of the book you're reading.
However the Elle for Damascus you really want to be. It's a pity party.
Just need to wait for the final date of 2015. It's always in mid-May but it could go one way or the other day. Sometime between 14-18 May.

Actually according to the whiteblaze has discourage beginning in mid-March. But right now there's quite a winter freeze in the United States to test predictions for winter, be updated closer to the start date if it is feasible to begin taritz.

It is clear that there are many that start in March, but they don't come from the desert country!

There are also other people who are currently in the PCT, and in early October. But these are people with lots of experience walking in winter in the snow and cold, and with the right equipment.
I'm sure those on the Appalachia know what they're doing. Or at least hope for them.

Going to land on 1.2.2015, weighs a Bill Florida prior to Appalachia.

Are there other programs should consider whether to do it or that the track/FL option only to pass the time until the warm welcome.

Hello everyone,

There is a ticket for the following dates-30/1/2005-14/9/2015

Deciding between two options therefore consult:

As we all know, February is still cold season month and most people start in March/April.
2. make two weeks for Florida, but hard to find info/number of Center everything you need to know where to start, water supply, road, etc.
A second option is to start the Appalachia-and do it in easy, stopping whenever, let others around, introduce more people/children/elderly. Taking into account that there are two weeks to spare that way. If there is a time to heal injuries, etc.
I am more inclined to the latter.

What do I say? Or choose? I actually enjoyed traveling the

I notice you're not so excited about temperatures of minus 15 and walking in soft snow with a sunset over the knees.
There is no such thing as easy to do in the apalazim when you go in early February. I don't think you really understand what's going on.
I think it's irresponsible for someone to recommend the second option without knowing your skills.
You choose what you want, we would love to hear updates as you progress.
Besides mythological barons don't know although the Israeli move apalazim in winter.

I follow two men who started the course in early December and are on track for a month.

Recently they retired from the track and fell to Florida because one of them has knee problems. Said return to Appalachia. He publishes videos on YouTube have been frequent short videos 95
This is the link to https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCycqK4BmPrhn5dwBltHGUxw .

I believe very cold, especially at night, but no snow videos. At least not in the southern part of the route. In the northern countries have lots of snow, but get them after only a few months is good.

On the other hand I see that trail because cold, so empty that means you meet lots of people. So mean and want to update, but still figure out how to do it.

Build a Web site.

Or an existing site.

Even I don't have and need instagram.

I also saw the site for calculating weight- http://www.geargrams.com bag looks comfortable and interesting.

By the way, looking for partners or even more people coming to AT and haven't found "crazy" like that, except the RAM going in April to PCT.

If anything, I'd love to know connect. By the way what equipment should I buy? I realized that if there is anything fancy REI best country prefer to shop here. Directions to pitzpecs like a Balaclava, cell phone protector, foldable keyboard;) Etc. The big three (tent, mattress, inflatable-jacket buy there) but what to buy?

Serious winter is January and February. These months much snow from Springer and North.
You don't really think you have winter walking company? Even if there is a walking trail in the winter what your chance to meet them?
If you want to write a blog in Hebrew so you don't have to search the trail gornels. If you write in English so.
You're talking about three and four large:) Actually tent is not necessary apalazim item. The big three are: shoes, backpack and km
And in the second row-sticks, clothing and cooking supplies. Most people take a tent filled most of the time sleeping in shlterim. The tent is used usually to "hostel is full.

Blog on WordPress or blogger can work as TrailJournals. I understand they have easy tampelt to update to distances and such, so this may be an advantage. Another site that can give you a platform to blog with the tampelt for this Postholer.com
And more convenient for managing a list of equipment, and weights, is http://lighterpack.com-I like it a little more, that is also available on Smartphones, technologies.
And I'm not sure if I should give up. In season there are plenty of travel, full lterim is something that happens a lot, and should be a tent or shelter. In your case you start long before the season, but snow and cold. Even in this case I think it would be better to sleep in a tent. I imagine that it will be a little warmer "hostel big empty. It seems to me that in order to make the path and rely solely on lterim should be just before the herd, and yet relatively warm temperature.

Some links and information about two women who were walking the path. I'm not sure if other not previously mentioned in the Forum, but even so she deserves another reminder.

Link to article on Neva "Chipmunk" Warren who finished the trail at age 15 and is the youngest to do it.

And here's the link to her blog: http://www.ridethenation...s-appalachian-trail-hike

In addition to a young girl for the 2013 should mention the important character of Grandma Gatewood is Emma Rowena Gatewood. The first woman walking the path alone in 1955 at the age of 67.
It is considered also with first olterliit equipment. At 75 years old she went up for the third time and thus was the first person to do so.

And this is a link to a book written about her in 2014:

The temperature is expected to drop to minus 17 in Mount Springer on Wednesday night (7 January 2015).
It is quite warm compared to Canada where expected minus 45 in some places.

Careful friends need, ask you to recommend a good אפלאצ'ים book sitting right here on the table until the time is right. I'm not looking for tactical information such as dollar tree what town. More about conduct, major equipment, parts, experience of other travellers, etc.

Would love it if you tell if there is one.

Thank you!
