Hello to everyone

I've always wanted to do the apalch.
I got out of the army in 11 month and decided to do the trail as the trip after the army. I was released in June and I realized that this is the best time March out.

I wanted to know much about this trip cost (including equipment, flight, food, shelter)? The ballpark also ... I want to know what kind I need to save now.

Thank you:-)

Flight check in travel agency.

Equipment check list on the Forum and see what equipment you have and check prices on the Forum, both in stores and online.

For-food can start from $ 200 per month. -Every four to five days on average 10 dollars to share a room with another 3-6 for bikers.

This trail can be said except for flight and cheap equipment.

In case of 300 per month. out of flight equipment.

The trip I did in 2002 cost around 30,000 full flights, and six months to live. Since prices probably rose a bit, but the dollar lost some. Of course you can do for and with a little less (I would not amtchlvim).

Good luck.

Yes, it turned out 30,000 includes everything, and you can do it cheaper.

Hello to everyone!
We are a young couple who plans to travel in Argentina and Chile in January 2009. Up in our minds an idea to stop the trip in April and begin the Appalachia!
After reading the correspondence is our only desire and I think we're going to go for it! Really exciting to think that someone just Israel going there.

Do you know how many Israelis have already done for the track
And if a period of five months as NetA is planning to go, it's normal for a period for It is important to note that we're walking in the Israel National Trail (INT) ...:)

Thank you and good luck to NetA ...:)

A number of those who did the elpch is half done, much of it.

If you go in the Israel National Trail (INT) have probably fitness.

All 3,700 km, 6 months. It is advisable to start from the end of March.

It is important to know what your equipment, look at the list in a forum.

For me, I think you're right, it doesn't sound like something anyway.

Can I add betwo Ding-dongs who on what Ma said but perhaps because my fresh information so how I just wanted to say that Israeli NetA and I did a section of trail at 99 (planted was 13) and drikatno was the first Israeli who did it is planted akinlabi actually started at the end of March and to take into account that the average is six months and in October could be snow in Maine so there is a lot of flexibility and should start at the end of March, down to about this equipment available and I recommend to buy anything in the u.s. Have excellent equipment today that doesn't exist in the land of I can offer if you wish to consult and receive information from NetA on the bounce.

Trying to sharpen the question, what do you want to know?

Ideal date is mid-March to mid-April, for example.

See the equipment lists equipment Forum.

Start.

If you plan to do any Appalachia from scratch (Lucky entitled "bastard"), you can simply start by Springer and do not too difficult (my second day was 7 miles, I think ...).
After a week and a half, you will be in very good shape to continue the path.

Okay, so just start.
Chantelle weight fits on your back and start doing trails. If you don't have time to do trails, just go a few hours every night.
