You just efforts scale structure:

First week you 5 miles during the week for six days and each day add a half mile.

A week later start 6 km in the same way, day of rest.

Week three-phase increase in walking distance.

Fourth week Chantelle 7-8 kg on

Week v step increase.

Friday week found some high-rise and start climbing stairs

Search nearest nature trail walk on rocks not just asphalt.

Eventually give rise to a situation in which mount with 12 kg so you have air.

In this great offer. You have plenty of time and there's nothing to load training

Now there is a period of rehabilitation and adaptation to desertification in their everyday relations.
And the best way to shorten the process is to determine the target tanttivi to PCT.

There were already several such conferences, and even better.
Only NetA, and too bad other Israelis who do/did the change, don't write here on the Forum and participants.

BTW-exposure images of Appalachia's first Amnon. Tunnel pictures already.

A few questions for graduates of Appalachian Trail.

I am currently in the us and would like to travel for a few days, the Shenandoah section.

1. where should I start to earn as many interesting sites and landscapes?

2. how to get there by public transport? I've been around New York, but can get to Washington.

3. special points for the purchase area, accommodation, weather, bears etc.

I've travelled a bit longer for the different areas, and I want to experience it again before general winter is coming.

To answer and must be addressed.

The Shenandoah section is pretty easy thing. No ups or downs. You can do all the Park a week on the trail. How many days do you have?
I don't remember a specific place in the Park is more beautiful or interesting. Everything was green with beautiful views of the Valley. Shouldn't be a problem to do only a portion of the Park and out in the middle with a road (same for out dozens of times).
To get to the Park, you should search on the Park's Web site, or ask on theAmerican Forum of Appalachia. Of course there will be people who live nearby and know more.

Hello everyone,

First of all, thanks a lot for all the members of the Forum here, they really helped me decide to do the Appalachian mountains.

I was released from the army and I plan to start March 14 mount Springer. I have no equipment, but nothing so I was wondering what equipment you should buy in Israel and some in the u.s., and how long before you should come to us to buy things.

Thank you!

See the list I posted in the Forum. You can also find posts of Amir about stuff he took to the PCT. And recommendations of Rooney and Chico and. (Keep in mind that these recommendations for PCT and to AT but I think you would too). Basically I think it is better to buy everything in USA

When coming to? How ready with gear From where? Atlanta- Want to stay before Atlanta. Perfection equipment in Atlanta? Get a list of the equipment and see if you have what you need there. (What about Lyme Tick fever-bag food against bears-walking poles-maps-cooking measures-giardia-water-ready for sudden snow advice regarding a visa for six months?)

There are enough who the aplatim, as I scraped the 1960s to volunteer advice and happily share information and experience with you to go over there.

I wouldn't worry about a partner, you'll find a lot of person, easily connect, partner in trouble because not always the rhythm and speed. Loose and that's all the fun in the Appalachian mountains, many different trademark.

So ...

Starting from Atlanta in early April. Big build completions R.E. network I

Used equipment list published here. Kerry stores for three months with surveys and investigations and after all that I think I have the professional equipment required

I could not find enough tent easy and professional and it's one of the things that I buy in Atlanta.

Has something against Lyme disease-ticks have only giiters. Bear bag I thought of SI Atom sack 15 Summit be enough?! Walking poles are needless to say of course required. Cooking-when questions of the vacillation between terngy alcohol gas. Water also the vacillation decided on clear water with a filter when Rummy lightweight

What is giardia? Pardon my ignorance.

Expect snow! Besides hot dress didn't plan anything special.

Anything you can advise me about my visa, I'd love to hear

What can you tell me about Gainesville and equipment stores cheap in Atlanta and Gainesville?

You know the easy way getting beyond the aiikrim ahsneit that pirsmatm?

Is there a specific place to buy maps? What about lamination of the maps? In the same place?

Thanks in advance for all your help and support.

About visa? It's simple-set tomorrow as the Embassy. As soon as possible.
As for maps, I didn't have any. I'm sure you can find all the maps together with the numbers per country. You have all the details here.

You can rely on a good way. That link you can buy the Appalachian Trail Thru-Hikers ' Companion, even though I used at the time the bookis (2002, also written by someone else), and this year there is

Here 's a little comparison of the books.

Basically, each of these books should be completely alone. You don't need more than that.

Well, some things even I'd jump in the eye is reduced as therapist

Bear-bag to play hoops with a buckle + long string high branches? In some places there are times BEAR BOX and hanging hooks have to shlterim pods

The dilemma between alcohol gas? Don't remember seeing someone cooking on gas. CAMP white FUEL gas

There are everywhere.

Maps: very common. Buy just the same every time, son. But why? You can do very well with the DATABOOK (anywhere that knows/messing with for) If you have other intentions so the COMPANION can help (it includes expanded information on towns and places on the way) laminate? Put in a bag ZIPLOG, son (with sealing bar) and that's it.

All the rest is available: he makes on me ג'ארדיה delicacies and visa and worried they are Kosher for Passover (MA is King)

* As for me to stomp on warts.

** Amtrak was faster.

So I've got a bag apparently bears, just wanted to make sure it doesn't have to be a certain type/material

I have two books: the DATA and the COMPANION Edition 2009

The procedures at the Embassy has been moved but how make sure baimigriion gets six months rather than three months

About thinking about gas, I don't think cold and certainly not the height enough to freeze. But anyway, I decided to go on an adventure with chalia and see what it's worth.

I must-take maps but I like it (what we all have to do something.)

Ah ... This is just a matter of luck. Only when you move the boundary review there. But I think if you explain to them that you actually came to do the ... gosh, I hope they come to you rather than you actually get 3 months.

Where you come to Atlanta and what time you land?

The city has cheaper and better international hostel http://www.hostels.com/h...els/atlanta/atlanta/2046

And hostel near Dowling, you explained Atlanta, brings you to REI shopping, bringing you to his hostel to help you obtain super early days bring you morning to mount Springer. Worth every dollar.

When landing in a field in Atlanta-tell the truth, I need a visa for six months because I walk the Appalachian Trail 2100 miles long and it takes at least six months, and it works. It helps if you have some cash back card

Belgian plastic bag bag-waterproof should be able to tie and lift height to tree bears won't get him over even on the trunk. In Atlanta the rest of cm not less because less jams between branches as the shtmshuch string.

Giardia-worms that live in the water, it is important to cleanse them or drink from any water source. There are pills for better land METROGYL installation if you come close to isfiya-loads.

Against antibiotic-installation-can't remember which search engine or send a private message to tilapia.

Read everything very important to tackle head on.

If you mean to go all the lime to be a problem in late spring when it grows and you go in the bushes and ticks stick to you, it is important to check every word, implement special tweezers, search engine or on YTRAILFORUM

-Clothes. A jacket and pants, Gore-Tex, you decide, I went with simple PVC. Cheek shocked shirt long sleeve thermal vest, fleece, well, slim, that's it.  Cold? Conference bag and go to sleep in a tent. Don't give up. Enter the site of Henry Hare TARPTENT and sent him to test how long it would take him to send you the safest tent. Don't know what's on REI.

About giiters-if you bought if not bought in Atlanta, some water and canceling those minutes of warmth against ticks and nettles, nettles, OH-USA-good grease to be applied in case of irritation and sure have irritation.

No maps, no one hardly ever use, that should about cover gilinot 346. The trail is marked from rising.

Cooking-I used Pepsi Stube, I bought white alcohol DENATURED ALCOHOL anywhere there

Buy a plastic baseball cap waterproof, when it rains, what does it rain, rain, rain hat will protect the water especially eyes don't fit there reflect.

Have gloves, a balaclava will have good rain cover for backpack, bought the name DUCTAPE depositin, against blisters-in the land of roller and soperfram have made COMPEED plasters, two pairs of socks you Groove liner socks and professionalism.

-Remember to take this match to 110 volts.

Some consider the backpack without food and water?

I haven't bought my ticket I can advance matters to the end after you have a card (.)

I just read about the ticks and the books and the Internet for bikers. I don't know how far it went. Some nervous tick?.

Water filter filters the worms and eggs?

Get what you mean on the map

What do you think of poncho? Don't hold the rain I am counting on it.

I wanted to ask also how seriously should take the BLACKFLIES?

I think the case weighs too much and I don't know how. Take the minimum minimum (one set of clothes in the bag, the rest ultra Lite) currently weighs 9 pounds not including tent, פיצ'אפקס and 4-5 pounds of water and food.

Thanks so much for your help and dedication. Just to give

To me a 39868.103275463

Double-check the website what filter is a filter. In my opinion the filters filter the worms and eggs, but no viruses (small, obviously ...), and for that you should use on the iodine.
Personally, I've used only in iodine (polar bottle caps as comfortable in my opinion), and filled only from places that seemed mostly normal springs. Don't trust me then complain you took something.
9 excluding tent-tent at about tenet or chalk gosamer (probably a couple of best friends ultra Lite-all good).
Some people with ponchos on the trail. Search the Forum- WhiteBlaze sure find references to it.

About the flies are annoying, if you. Pesky mosquitoes, too. Cold and wet and sometimes sore legs, and back. The way it is. Nothing critical. At one point I got a little word to put on your head, so it was unlikely while walking. Don't have.
