Start so early? At your own pace can make flip flop.

At the time, began on April 18, "chubby" and I went in the morning. Yet arrived June 1 Colorado border only to find feet of snow in the mountains and had to do a shortcut (what worked good in retrospect, that gave just enough time to finish).

You probably get to Colorado in early to mid-May, and unless you're lucky with low snow year, need you to circumvent or walk hundreds of miles in the snow. I'm sure you work (although it can't be too bad idea to check now that you have unrestricted Internet access about snowshoes. backup program is always nice to have something on the CDT).

Oh, and ... As long as I stay the only physicist who did three runways stay zchichothi.

Well, couldn't solve its differences of opinions with the border police.
Go out to act stringently and only purchase kind. After the kick out of PC.
With two other guys.

Age, by the way, I started c d. With another week.
And are already registered and kickoff 2 Israel (not including Eyal also is on his way)

So that this year will be three Israelis on the CD, and probably at least four on the PC.
An impressive representation all opinions (or at least my opinion).

It would be interesting to find out how old the beginning so early when it comes to Colorado. My guess is that if we don't have a long heat wave and melt snow in the area north of New Mexico are going to run into some serious snowfall amounts, and will need to be creative in choosing the route.

And Assaf. I think you will be the first Israeli makes three end-to-end paths (did flip flop at the time of the Appalachian spring) and the first to do all three as THRUHIKE (I had at the time to return to the country 60 miles before coming to the Canadian border), not to mention the serious shortcut in time through Colorado on the CDT.              So maybe you should technically be considered the first Israeli triple kraoner.

All have a lot of luck.

You are dealing with definitions and nicknames too much!
That's the American way! Just hike!

Asaf. Good luck and I hope you have the time of your life.
Watch out for those, Grizzlies.

See you around. I'm going for the PCT this year.
Starting May 1st.

At best,
Eyal

Well, New Mexico was hot most of the time
But since we got to Colorado, and San Juan, the temperatures drop and dramatically MTS.
We walk on snow for 5 days in a row
We could hardly find a place to camp
At some point we slept on the trail, on the edge of a cliff, in order to avoid camping on snow
We are a zero week progressively closer, hopefully the snow will melt a little bit
We are carrying snow shoes and micro spikes

Gil and his friends flipped to Wyoming because of the snow
The three of us and another hiker are the only crazy hikers who hikes thru the mountains Colorado
All the rest, or choose the flipped north road walk

The mountain scenery is unbelievably beautiful

Hi, you actually go in the snow! Kudos to you. I envy you. I wish the snow over and walk on wet ground and stable.

As seen from this picture amazing experience of walking in the snow. As far as I remember.

San Juan mountain range is in the southern part of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado (I planned to do a scene in 2007, but had to stop). It's an amazing place and definitely in snow is an experience for life. Where you are now in Colorado and if you intend to continue further north?

* Ronnie was right about skipping portions of the path covered with snow. Age, and probably you too, started too early maybe.

* Something else: eight/nine Israelis do thru hike the PCT is respected. Of ar 40334.635625

Asaf,

Keep on going. Don ' t flipflop.

I got to the High Sierras Yesterday. Had a lot of snow in the desert so far. Got Rained on in the Mojave.

Going up to the Sierras with crampons and ice axe and will try to break a route. Everything is covered from 9000 ft and above. The and creeks are low because of snow and ice.

Most of the hikers are flipfloping or just the skeeping Sierras.

Some are just going to wait in KM until end of June. Or the beginning of July

There are 14 Israelis on the PCT. I heard one of them quit.

I was after all the Israelis but I almost bypassed everyone. I really hope all will finish this year. It will be great.

I only met two of them. Probably missed them in towns cause I didn't take any zeros so far.

The PCT is amazing.

Best of luck,

Eyal
