Hello readers, in August this year went much of for the GR-11, during the preparation of the Forum and many incredible people here, thank you auction.

In general the GR11 is one of three trails that begin off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and ends in the Mediterranean Sea as you walk along the Pyrenees. The South's three mostly goes by the Spanish side of the border with France.

Getting there: to reach was by plane to Bilbao and from there.
In the early days of the HRP until I met are company made precisely the GR11 and tztepreti them, so I don't know exactly where to start (I started with andai).

GR11 marking very hard and lost. Actually I went most of the way without a map and directory (but used in the planning of these days).

Gas: sold also puncture and threaded type, but usually one or the other. Most travel stores first in waking and the other major towns (and rare).

Cabins: traveled with tent and so spent most of the night, but at least the first pieces almost every night you can sleep in the cabin (if you follow the guide of sisteron).
Note: to sleep in your areas especially as parks preferred to reserve time in advance (e.g. Goriz).

I went from Hendaye to Parzan total. About halfway down the trail because of injury.

Big hairy along the way:

Hostel Elizondo: supermarket, pubs and restaurants.
Burguete: supermarket and restaurants.
Ochagavia: supermarket, bakery, post office, Bank and restaurants.
Isaba: pubs and restaurants (we weren't looking supermarket).
Two small supermarkets: Candanchu Diners, and sporting goods store and equipment (ski, hot equipment etc.).
Sallent de Gallego: relatively large and expensive town to stay (not just hotels hostels) but there are a few supermarkets, camping, pharmacy, Bank, post office, a travel-style gear with whatever you want (I bought there members, rain gear, etc). From here you can reach with buses to major cities with relative ease and therefore is used for many sections or connection.
Panticosa: cafes and hotels.
San nicolas de Bujaruelo: camping, about 2-3 miles down the dirt road there is another camping ground where supermarket (very easy to hitch).
You can hitchhike to Torla which realized there all traveler could want including shop, even though I went there I realized weight to hitchhike there too.
Parzan: hitch to Bielsa 2.5 miles, was a problem. There's a supermarket, post office, Bank, Internet caf? and equipped gear stores.

Add pictures if anyone can suggest me how to download size

I would be happy to answer any questions and requests as best and as atradition the Forum:)41188.6506481481 MetricEd

Care that I returned recently from a trip with a tent in the Rhone-Alpes region.

Regarding the images, I the same problem. I'm uploading them to various sites and then publish via link (in progress ...), some more work but it gives also a backup for network.

Hey,
I think the more beautiful of the GR11/HRP is precisely fersen, I encourage you to go back and complete:-)

Regarding the images, you can open with any image editing software, such as Microsoft Office Picture Manager that comes with Microsoft Office, and there's an option to change image size (each image individually or all at once), I usually choose an option for Document-Large this forum. Good luck.
