Hello

My future wife and I plan to do the Trek in our honeymoon (start).

Bought friendly's book (new edition) and we practice March:)

But nothing worth a conversation with somebody who's the path recently.

Has anyone here made to last and has tips and insights about the trail?

Each topic can help: weather, difficulty of the trails, cabins, equipment, water, reach for, buying,

Problem spots, or anything else.

Thanks in advance!

Anna and being

I have land in Bilbao on 25 (assuming some elusive outlet from horn not shut Ben Gurion International Airport).
BTW, I have an idea!
Instead of the eclectic bundle on m, I would suggest, that you dare to, post on the Forum in the subject article, with obvious affinity for.
I think, as iobelsh said, aterkrim ל99% (incl. vertical), has no idea about this topic. "your last ה"התקוטטות him, left me more confused than ever.

On the contrary, Yuval wrote, said there are lots of words and consequently focused much better written, it also fixed the resulting forecast realized that the machine wasn't focused enough, took his corrections to my attention.

Firstly not all appropriate clock and not everyone knows how to use all clock needs to target the acquired knowledge.

Again linked to meteorology Group on Facebook which has many small articles for the purposes of this topic focus and not blowing in excess of information at once, has already said the weather guide here already wrote,

Should more mcdo course depends for it going don't always understand the forecast do not always understand the local staff.

Basically what we have is a brief guide to reading the synoptic, wrote, what, what level has an explanation in the linked Group, and beyond that there are quite a few that need to read, it's hard to write a comprehensive article that has a lot of material on the subject, people group, then it is easy to respond and to refine the answers.

Go ask questions to understand the weather, since I understand the weather you should start it depending on the weather location varies depending on location, not very easy because the local effects of Alpine Carpathian Mountains Pyrenees ranges are very strong, so there is a lot of learning, as stated in the Group I'm trying to bring about here just for travellers, it is not always possible even those difficult to understand everything and everything flows , You may watch the launch if the bird's eyes look abnormal behavior most people won't notice it and think nothing but looking carefully about flying bird at a time when wind blows from West to East and you will see that she gets a hot pace without flapping wings that is soaring, while drifting to the East and West which is actually quite interesting and unusual phenomenon.

There is a definite sign for quaint and not weather that may quickly become gods was exactly like that of Doha in Tabor in 2009 didn't look and used heavy disaster miraculously.

The important thing is to understand and keep an open mind and learn and know everything, probably assumes this is a test.

Hello

My wife and I walked the entire GR11 from Irun to cap de creus last year-summer 2013.
We enjoyed very much! It's an experience you never forget. Every time you look at photographs and Miss again.

Points, not in order (all information as of 2013):

1)-resistant tent that is very important!
2-cold source) only if sleeping high.
-3) can be really hot, if the Sun is strong, but it is relatively normal.
4). There's a lot of water, usually without purification. Most of the time we didn't have to carry more than one full bottle for 2 people. In the beginning (nbara) and (Catalonia) have much less need to carry water. Later, many who. We bought a juice powder and added to water makes them more isotonim and absorbed in the body.
5)-lots of ups and downs. To maintain weight. My wife was not easy, especially with the knees. We took כ9 pounds a person, including case and without food and water and you can download more.
6) maps-we bought the maps of Israeli prames, order online (expensive shipping!). We didn't want to spend time there. Relatively good maps, but there are changes. The relatively good markings, but sometimes there are problems. A compass or a g.p.s. sequencer. If you see signs of wrong French way.
7-language speaking) Spanish, French, Basque, and Catalan, and some English.
8) can sometimes sleep in places not settlement. You can ask the locals. In the town there right next to Beget in a tent near the river there. At the bus station Albanya
9) immediately after the fall of aniscolo all highlighted maps, there's room for tents. And give high fines. There's a Refugio and sleep there. We went around and we have the Valley and there below.
2010) prices: about 50 euros per bed in a private room. Wine dinner menu price for a person-15 euros. Of course, changes.
11) before macanet after Albania-part where markup confusing. Be careful, or go on the road. The trail descends and try not to go on the road.
12) immediately after Respumoso, marks were confusing because there were a lot of water and the past under the old Lake. We asked a few people, and when the snow was very clear for all.
13) parted from Torla to Ordesa and Park the GR11. We slept in Torla.
14) arrival Barcelona-we straight from Barcelona to Irun railway, and go straight away.
15) there's only one cabin (extra charge)-restanca. When we arrived. Hull cabins. Because there are no legal place to camp and it was a lot of rain.
16) free cabins in good condition, in Andorra and Catalonia. Specifically, by Requesens Baiau, and one in which I don't remember her name. Stretching from Encamp arrive.
17) food-cooking with a gas burner, especially rice and Couscous, and ate a few. The day we ate cold cuts and cheeses with bread/toast, and biscuits, chocolate.
18)-gas problem. Almost no gas fits. In Irun has shop where bought gas, then only buy gas in Torla.
-19) was the new edition, the Edition has been damaged. A lot, but there was a general route.
Micro-20) is really not a problem. There are many communities, and almost every village you can buy food, even if no selection.
21) we made SLA Perdido natural type, after there is in Refugio Goriz. You can rent a climbing equipment (crampons and axe). We recommend taking a little less than a day.
22) descent from a very difficult and steep anisclo. Takes approximately three hours plus, to make carefully.
23) signs are confusing exit from Candanchu.
24) increased to Tebarrai immediately after Respomuso Cuello.

That's what I had in mind.

Enjoy!

Wow, thanks a lot!

And some questions (Meanwhile, sure there will be more later):

Just to get a general idea of the difficulty: some days you go the whole route

And how many miles did you sort.

Where can I buy train tickets to IRUN?

You know the name or address of the store where you buy gas?

About camping, I need to be to camp from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.?

Thank you!

We bought tickets online.
Dkathlon in Irun, but have we bought in the store a lot more.

Bought gas in Irun, in Torla and Espot.
Only in Irun was a problem.
If I remember correctly we bought in store:
Irusta

Kiolak Irusta
Kalea, 3 ', 20303 Irun, Guip?zcoa, Spain about tents-not true. It is not clear to me what the law says, but I know that everywhere.
We're just a tent, but there is no places available.
In General if you're starting or not off so no one will find you. Certainly there are many Spaniards who do this.
There are specific places – like at most rpog. (Some, like specific goris).
In General, if it's high enough/not accessible/-enough. Was anyway. Warned after Canyon aniscalo Park, and really not there.
In most towns there, whether at home or at camp.
I know that if you sleep without a tent, so there's no problem, just open that saw Spanish miles somewhere on a bench, and we slept in a bus once.

You should know

The rpogiot in Torla and other settlements called rpogiot are actually very inexpensive guesthouses dormitori 10 EUR,

Very cheap to very comfortable rooms showers kitchen accessibility related writers two buildings in Torla itself has at least three of these:

Italy, the second hitting the bar wanted to recall the French name who discovered the third Ordesa and hitting the Geass de Torla Beatrice and a little more expensive than others, all are excellent, occasionally also want to rest from the road and stay in the tent or just a nice place in Torla active experiences.

More answers:

My wife and I walked the runway in 50 days, including 4 ~ days. (Approx. 4, because one day we went from espot to gingeta, about an hour and a half walk by the way, the route maps of our name prames argues the great markings, much more but not going on the road.)

The amount of kilometers we went on the day isn't really relevant. At the beginning and end of the track going a lot more miles a day, simply because he's more.
I can list the sections that made if desired.

Thanks so much for your help (a little late:)

I went a little site that sells maps and found that the order and shipping cost me 400 maps.

A bit much in my opinion.

It seems to me that the solution is to buy them second hand,

Is there anyone interested to sell topographic maps of the trail?

A shitty site they don't have PAY PAL, didn't bother to confirm by email your transaction. 3 weeks I was convinced I had her amazingly.
If you fail, I buy in Spain.
