Annually,

Thanks for the link, and indeed the book costs as you said.

But, the shipment costs 55 euros more. So all together it around the $ 400.

In short, a bit too much to tell.

Hello

My wife and I walked the entire GR11 from Irun to cap de creus last year-summer 2013.
We enjoyed very much! It's an experience you never forget. Every time you look at photographs and Miss again.

Points, not in order (all information as of 2013):

1)-resistant tent that is very important!
2-cold source) only if sleeping high.
-3) can be really hot, if the Sun is strong, but it is relatively normal.
4). There's a lot of water, usually without purification. Most of the time we didn't have to carry more than one full bottle for 2 people. In the beginning (nbara) and (Catalonia) have much less need to carry water. Later, many who. We bought a juice powder and added to water makes them more isotonim and absorbed in the body.
5)-lots of ups and downs. To maintain weight. My wife was not easy, especially with the knees. We took כ9 pounds a person, including case and without food and water and you can download more.
6) maps-we bought the maps of Israeli prames, order online (expensive shipping!). We didn't want to spend time there. Relatively good maps, but there are changes. The relatively good markings, but sometimes there are problems. A compass or a g.p.s. sequencer. If you see signs of wrong French way.
7-language speaking) Spanish, French, Basque, and Catalan, and some English.
8) can sometimes sleep in places not settlement. You can ask the locals. In the town there right next to Beget in a tent near the river there. At the bus station Albanya
9) immediately after the fall of aniscolo all highlighted maps, there's room for tents. And give high fines. There's a Refugio and sleep there. We went around and we have the Valley and there below.
2010) prices: about 50 euros per bed in a private room. Wine dinner menu price for a person-15 euros. Of course, changes.
11) before macanet after Albania-part where markup confusing. Be careful, or go on the road. The trail descends and try not to go on the road.
12) immediately after Respumoso, marks were confusing because there were a lot of water and the past under the old Lake. We asked a few people, and when the snow was very clear for all.
13) parted from Torla to Ordesa and Park the GR11. We slept in Torla.
14) arrival Barcelona-we straight from Barcelona to Irun railway, and go straight away.
15) there's only one cabin (extra charge)-restanca. When we arrived. Hull cabins. Because there are no legal place to camp and it was a lot of rain.
16) free cabins in good condition, in Andorra and Catalonia. Specifically, by Requesens Baiau, and one in which I don't remember her name. Stretching from Encamp arrive.
17) food-cooking with a gas burner, especially rice and Couscous, and ate a few. The day we ate cold cuts and cheeses with bread/toast, and biscuits, chocolate.
18)-gas problem. Almost no gas fits. In Irun has shop where bought gas, then only buy gas in Torla.
-19) was the new edition, the Edition has been damaged. A lot, but there was a general route.
Micro-20) is really not a problem. There are many communities, and almost every village you can buy food, even if no selection.
21) we made SLA Perdido natural type, after there is in Refugio Goriz. You can rent a climbing equipment (crampons and axe). We recommend taking a little less than a day.
22) descent from a very difficult and steep anisclo. Takes approximately three hours plus, to make carefully.
23) signs are confusing exit from Candanchu.
24) increased to Tebarrai immediately after Respomuso Cuello.

That's what I had in mind.

Enjoy!

NIR, thanks a lot

I drive this summer with this track, we allocated currently on track for about three weeks. There's a point you'd recommend to begin (or in other words, some parts from the beginning was skipped), to get the most out of this course in that time?

My recommendation-assuming you want easy access points to the trailhead and exit: Canfranc-Estaci?n reached almost to the path train connection from Barcelona.
Espot-combine the circuit in the Park if time and energy.

If you have time/power of parks to combine variants.

I thought about this point to make the French part of the trail and returned to Spain in Ordesa Park. It makes sense

It is certainly possible, there is also an option in kandeco to connect to HRP. In my opinion it doesn't really matter, it's a beautiful area on both sides of the Ridge which doesn't pick it would be a good choice!

Good luck!

Hi,

My brother just goes there for 3 weeks and asked the same question.
I advised him to Encamp torla. But it's mostly.
If you can get to it easier canfranc, then go from there to Espot.

To refer to where a teacher was or not in terms of mean, not necessary where a beautifully preserved wherever. By the same way looking barely passing the GR11 orldesa reserve because most in France, and obviously it didn't indicate.

Your question specified Park is relatively lower space and move it one day.
As I told you, I think there is a difference in terms of the landscape in three trails that though there must be a difference in terms of others. Can testify only about 9 that only it did.

If I could give you a general recommendation on this particular trail-don't plan too much and try to know in advance anything, like I said just go my Dutch fellow who did the trail: "to manage" Pyrenees (losing some translation of course.)

This plan (to flow), but want to get some more idea. I'm actually waiting for friendly's book and then I hope to get a broader picture of the path. Where, if at all, in cirque de gavarnie visit? And if the portion between Park Ordesa Torla any Pearl French side pet shouldn't miss

Asking again-you can't get the maps for Spain? I see a lot of people to the country from abroad, but am I wrong to think that there is no problem to get the maps for Barcelona?

Itamar-obviously you can buy maps of Spain (However, at least some of them are printing ...), in Barcelona there are some stores that sell them (travel gear shops to bookshops). Some people prefer to go over the maps already in the country and thus invite them online (I think it was just expensive and unnecessary).

Your question about something between Torla to Ordesa French side in (Torla's Southwest end of Ordesa)
French Park is amazing and very diverse opinion (you can read my post on hrp ), but not the Spanish side so I can't compare them

And some on the forum-you can create here duplicates, try to move the discussions on the gr11 mouth

True, I got confused. I meant between Canfranc to Ordesa. For some reason I remember the French equivalent worth. But I guess everything just gorgeous.
And watch the HRP post, thanks.

Itamar's best look at the blog and see photos get an idea what's in the kadanzzo, pormigal, Torla, what's in, what's in the boachrlos Park Ordesa Monte Perdido is the what the Circus Circus is the gabarani sossao see photos and see Google maps a path long enough to understand between Saint de giigus to Torla is part of his beautiful but it's all personal opinion and moved:

The reality exceeds imagination.

Enjoy and be sure to scratch that roams there now nothing happens

I hope you mean listening environment and can report.

I think you would be a bit chilly tomorrow July 4 North and East winds are expected strong enough 15-18 knots. Going to check forecast sites

Interesting to Thimphu's pheasant-i.e. tomorrow and Friday iarens 9-17 degrees rainy he claims to Indian wind Northwest necessarily

Nothing happens that you have a good rain Cape have actually just kind of fun to hang out there in the rain, then snow if high enough and it's great fun.

Nati-our guy to test the equipment indicated that he was released.

Hope he hasn't yet reached the area of Casa de sorsia. I was there it was raining crazy 12 hours one night and who walked the path that day and reached some Refugio was not marked with great wet masterpiece.

Was funny and a little sad to kndeco today after hearing the experiences of people.

Already learned that aprinas can be unpredictable, to unexpected back ... last time I was in pormigal February 28 this year was 5 degrees 100 mph wind and snow freezes forward not something I was expecting, so although it was winter, but even in summer, they know how to kick.

Because the European weather unexpected decided not to participate in this year's tour de France starts tomorrow and leave on Alejandro and download over all hope to do so in dignity ... tomorrow the weather is expected to clear wait and see.

Another question-the masterworks for I plan to do with a tent, rather than relying on rpoachioas to. But can we rely on them about the dinner? This can save some weight.
Thank you
