Hi to everyone,

At best weeks I finish exams period at the Hebrew University and to the truly important things in life, nature, hiking, freedom.

On 28 September, me and a couple of friends on the GR20.

Although we have long experience in tracks can never be prepared for that kind of trip. I would love to talk by phone or meet with someone who did the GR20/in the Jerusalem area.

Also, if someone is willing to loan maps/relevant literature (checked books in the country and all I could find on the subject out of stock-very strange, probably because waiting for 2014).

If someone is willing to help on the promise to keep literature and lhazir in the same situation.

I read a few Forum members ' travel diaries and I must say that I'm waiting for the end of the month to get underway.

P.s.

If there's someone here who plans to leave at the end of the month to track happy to hear that.

In normal years (when a very large amount of travellers or summer weather), most of the cabins will have been closed at the beginning of October and even though winter, rooms may not be everywhere especially in the margins and have to sleep in a tent and carry food for a few days.

Recommends catch just who was there, and even more important here in the latest forum topic

Installation on $ 62 (free shipping) the most updated version of CICRONE's Edition here. According to the official website is posted at the beginning of the year Published29 May 2014 despite the incorrect date in the database.

It usually comes in two weeks-or language -out more expensive (around $ 120 with) but I ordered from them several times and came within a week and a half.

To me thank you for the tips.

I noticed your reply just now. I'd love to get more detail about rafiog theme. Obviously they are going to be closed, but I realized I can still sleep in them in winter rooms as you call them.

Do I understand right?

Weather-good sound and expected forecast that rope to go for experience bad weather which will require you to get off the trail.

Most importantly-it's one of the toughest trails in Europe requires a great fitness workout before leaving serious equipment. Are you ready for this?

I guess I have changed a few things since I was there in October 2009, but then they didn't have winter special rooms, they just leave the standard cabins open without maintenance, i.e. in some cases water taps inside were closed for fear of freezing of pipes, there was no arrangement of rooms but mattresses and blankets left and of course failed to obtain food.

Recommend you get a BEAUTIFUL Forum updates. Although not a lot of people after the end of the season there, but it always emerges.

I returned yesterday what GR20, the northern part of klanzana to oisauvena in nine days, was amazing and very difficult.

I think part of the this other difficult Trek is not the ups and downs like all got slammed, but rocks and stones, almost didn't go to ground, on rocks and boulders, and part of the skrmbling.

The weather was great, one day was half an hour of rain while walking, and last night in Dellonda and spirits had a little rain, but otherwise was very good.

Chain part in Cirque is not difficult especially for those strong hands, not scared too, and some experience in rappelling, however there are parts in the Cirque have necklaces and would help if there were.

About the rpiogis as already written are very basic and small, recommended for me to sleep in a tent, which I did, some people began sleeping in rpiogis to sleep in tents, in September, there is no need to pre-order if you arrive at, if you arrive late, likely won't be anywhere, but there's always room tents, tents are also equipped with mattresses.

Auberge U a Vallone strongly because the hot water in the showers, but because he and the information there is possibility for cooking and sleeping only in small tents or tent dormatori, September dormetri tent was used only for storage and just sleeping in tents.

In warm water in shower Asco (as opposed to frozen foods that were in the old days), U Vallone have hot water at Castel camping shower of warm water in the rafiog Mangano also have hot water and warm water Delonda.

No toilet paper in any rafiog.

I tried to upload some photos but to no avail, he wanted photos without extention?

The size of the image.

It's better to upload a link to an image from piksha, or other Web service.

Thanks for reporting.

Hello everyone, we are a group of friends who go into orbit, for the track 15 days instead of 14.
I wanted to get a recommendation for nice places you can rest them someday or nice attractions throughout the track.
Thank you very much.

What do you mean nice attractions? Water Park Disneyland? Spa Hotel?
It seems to me you're not in the right forum. The attraction is the track itself.
Found to the TMB. There are plenty of attractions that have nothing to do with the track. In this cutthroat Corsica without too much pampering

Yes, except for isolated mountain huts, there are few places I'd want to stay more than one night. Max do a day of rest in ovisbonh, but there are no too.

Very nice actually to infest for several days on the north shore. "Fun" atmosphere.
The southern shores are already rich with yacht '. Something else.
But that's beside the track. Agkcio could also pass on some days.

I'd like clarification on the subject of drinking water along the route, some drinking water points along the track (while walking)? Or just rpiogis?
Is one of clear water will suffice (50 balls) What quality of water in the middle of August so no longer have flow?
Thank you very much.

I don't remember any particular problem with water. Passing time which immediately a cabin, or a little prune most of the deliberations will be among coke and courses. I don't think we need to purify water, but if you want to be safe, I wouldn't take more than 5 rounds.

As a fresh graduate of the track minus one because of section m (11. סה״כ).

Looking for the next challenge.

The showdown has nothing to say but has decent summaries online.

* In summer, hot summer was okay, most were 2 liter (usually where there is full at the beginning of the summer where maybe a lot).

* Prices as mentioned everywhere, just probably immigrants every year. 14 euros in cabin, tent is 6 euros per person to rent a tent 11 (+ per person.)

* Highlights take some weight, I usually don't miss Refugio, and has a kitchen that can (or rather, not everywhere has it all, you can find summaries about what ishaiph network), then eat fairly cheaply.

* Recommend accommodation in castel de vergiho, a hot shower (actually with a faucet to hot and cold water) and a clean bed with new bedding, there's no reason to go. And I think the best in food (and a few other restaurants).

* Corsica itself isn't cheap, especially hotels and public transportation are very sparse. I didn't find too much to do on the island at the end of the season (despite having an endless beaches and restaurants and tourist attractions for those it, surfing, diving, Jeep, etc).

* If you have a tent, I wouldn't give up on him, lightweight tent, talked to several people who were there and to himself, to save money, and more without having to stop in just to knowing, in principle prohibited (but not much who enforces?), nor too many places to camp. Most of the trail just a pile of stones in various grades, and with no shelter. Every few hours, sometimes there's a point you can see it is a place to camp (guess exists because the emergency days, dangerous sections, and I suppose the rain needs a place to stop and wait, even if it's into the night).

* Also in the North and in the South the day before last, has an option to take via alpine variant, indicated in yellow. This is actually an old path (below you can see yellow and red). Say they are better, some worse (but shorter) alternatives, recommended for those who has a little more strength in my legs:)

* Shoes and comfort is required, if not, what happened to be a lump them (I have before and after, but I see clearly now need to buy new shoes:))

* Most sections, especially in the North, (I) a walk in the rain, smooth granite slope climbing higher, d security (just going nice and slow, dry, too!)

Hello everyone,

Although more or less ended the current season and most of you just meet the for next year but it seems worth noting that by implementing a concatenation of cirque de solitude part closed to mteilis because accident that there about a year ago.

I don't know what will be the situation next season but at the moment there are two alternatives that I know about:

1. walk a new path marked following the closing costs from the Vasco almost to Monte Scinto (high mountain korisch) until its bone saddle with an option to complete the ascent to it in about an hour of back and from there continue on the ridge to refuge de Tighjettu drop to there actually connect back to the original.

2. bus cost ridiculous (30 euros) it takes several times a day from the nearest village to the skiing trail where you can connect to it back.

As I once said in another context if you are willing to walk its free

Although I haven't had that here, but I think the alternative is not bad (strange for me that Monte Scinto originally track not included).

The important thing to note here that there is virtually no advertising and speaking on arrival for my case I read something and I knew there was a chance that the section will be blocked and therefore expect that approach to the starting point, and the klenzna came near to be clear messages to visitors, but it's not quite the case: the first was negligible in French a message handwritten on A4 page show only other alternative at the cabin there was no second and most critical thing to me was the reduction to a ski resort where there is an option to take ESCO variant and Skip at Vasco, on the way passing through here, at this point there was no warning and no current would travel just to continue with his plans, what he had met there, clearly trying to figure out what that means and if closing who accidentally gets there for and I couldn't understand. The Vasco first place were full details with a map, hours of Hants and wooden signs for direction to write block.

I heard about it and I forgot to post- more details about the accident.

In short – at least five hikers were killed in an avalanche on cirque after serious rainstorm and snow melt caused the landslide.

The link has several videos that show what it's like to cross this section of weather-not recommended.

A new edition of a guide to the friendly going out in mid-June

Remind you that by the end of June there is a 25% discount on all instructors of friendly.

Anyone planning to go for this season? For a long time we didn't have a comprehensive update and have some structural changes in the route of the trail.
