Friends, my wife and I go. GR20, from North to South.

We have three weeks to get to perform and restore hope.

The route request, how Looks like we're going to have to get there and find out.

I doubt I can get updates from the field, but when we come back, I'm probably going to share information and photos.

Thanks for the watch.

Now only briefly, then you will add details and pictures.
The day we landed safely.
We did the trail entirely by the book, although not in crisis through.
Tremendous experience, not real almost.

We 16 days to one day.
Flight to Marseille and then a ferry to rouse a cool train Ele to CALVI and a taxi to the trailhead, near the Church in Calenzana.
We went from North to South, snow in the mountains from 1900-2000, going North at this time of year I think is very reasonable because most of the snow during the hike is climbing, it was easier for us than to go to forsman 9 days of almost like summer weather, but the amount of water in June in Corsica, allowed to ignore the heat that was sometimes. The southern part from Vizzavona by wet weather, and at altitudes above 1800 in winter, leaving the island, closed the for and download, arrested people for a while.
The track is powerful, physical investment + compensation for the incredible view, figure certainly deliver the goods, the experience is.
We fought to travel in the country, here we have to deal with some things. Every day there are ups and downs of a couple of hundred metres, sometimes in excess of 800-900 a day, and of course the weather "that attacked us toward the end, turned things up a bit to more complicated.
In 2010 you can get almost everything on a BEAUTIFUL and rpog themselves sometimes sell gas with flare who need walking sticks, food galore, seen shoes. You cannot starve during the GR20 hiking in.
June is considered the beginning of the season, were still relatively large amounts of people you meet on the way, or go with you in the same as Greece. Slept most of the time in the tent that carried (a little heavy, but proved himself in difficult moments when shaklim broke in strong wind), and soon we won't need to carry food, only snacks a day and water plentiful this time of year, so we took a few more weight which was at first from 17 to 12, which certainly easier on the road.
Shoes – easy + Gore-Tex. The advantage was clear, no itching, dry foot immersion in hot and wet snow. The disadvantage of course, was already on the third day they began to rupture, constant rubbing of granite rock, final few shoes better than me. My wife took it relatively easy too, old shoes without Gore-Tex, was slightly uncomfortable with the wetness.
Food-cornucopia has paid all rpog, of course. The price is higher than the real value on average 3 times, you can eat in restaurants in the ski stations, full priced meal of 20,30 EUR per person. Wholesome food to go is cheaper, and of course there will always be such a meal in case of an emergency. You can save quite a bit with not going to restaurants, and buy only basic food rpog, 1000-1200 euros per couple will do to the economy and stuff. 1500-1600 if you want some to indulge – for 2010.
Communications – cellular coverage in most places on the trail (at least if no shelter in sight), public phones are also interesting places.
Tempo – you can do this for 12-14 days net. There are of course many (really fashion) running down the path they take 7-9 days, or even less. In order to have a good time and not rush into, you should apply the trip across 14-15 days.
Difficulty – Lollapalooza. In the North there was almost no Bill and Bush, all rocks and significant height differences during the day, the Cirque de solitude of mitologi, it took us five hours to get through some days we go them 6-8 km, which is sufficient. The South immediately after VIZZAVONA is smoother, but relatively long distances, add to that bad weather and you have been longing for.

There's a lot of what I write, not so much.
If someone is interested in something specific, I can help if I know.

Fun to read! Looks like you had an amazing experience!
A few little questions you have:
1. I guess the cabinas blah-be happy though if you provide information about accommodation, prices and availability at the time of the second (necessary to book?).
2. the prices of transport and route (ferry to Corsica, taxis etc.).
3. more photos?

Thank you!

Price is per person euro tent-5
Cabin price is 10 euros per person. Need to book in advance if you want to stay in the cabin, even at the beginning of the season it's pretty busy. What happens is that the Park, and the Inspector (GARDIEN) should put in that man is 56 to 32. There are other places where you can stay in a tent, not whether this GITE DE ETAPE, it at 10-20 euros per person, and the shower is likely going to be happened.
There are also hotels (Nothing) in several places, and it's quite expensive-between 80 to 100 euros per night
Even if you are going with, garages have a flat place which is not in abundance, but that's okay.

Transport:
The 12-hour ferry from Marseilles to Corsica, 4 people can sleep, get around 100-150 euros per person. It is possible to reduce the ticket and seating, Room 6, ferry price varies from season to season. We have a local ferry 6-7 hours, faster, but it didn't matter anymore, so checking for it. From the Ferry landing to us on ELE ROUSE took train to CALVI, it was 8 euros per person and 40 minutes, if I remember correctly, and 30 euro taxi to the trailhead, 10 km.
In return, at least, CONCA transport to different destinations to train, we took a ride to PORTO VECCIO at 8 euros per person, from where we took a ferry back, ordered another.
There are quite a few places where you can "escape" or get back on track with transportation.

There are of course many more photos here

Description the exciting me. Do you think the second half of September (a month) is an appropriate time to walk in the trenches the Trek? Is expected to be a problem of water in high places (since there is no snow) or the likely weer problematic?

Looks amazing!

Question about your bags if you are seen used on tatonka (ltoro, SI or Michael) and wife used on Salva (kailo maybe?)

I was wondering what your opinions on them, were there?

Thank you
Ofer.

September is considered the end of season ototho.

There's water everywhere, but of course there is rafiog, which means you need to carry more weight, and in general everything is dry and yellow. This information got from traveling who did Trek 4 times throughout the seasons. The rpog closed in October, but if the weather gets bad, the inspectors are driven for login (this is true for all seasons).

I think it's OK to leave in September, only need to monitor the weather and take 3-4 pounds more every day.

Ofer.

I testify about myself that I am not a man of equipment. Meaning of names, models, performance comparisons and so not my area. If you see some cases went up to Bill Israel, were even rolled on the floor. And if you ask me what shoes I wear, I tell you! "the gray".

My bag (tatonka) with volume of 70 l. in retrospect was too large. Very quickly we found out that there is no need to carry water and there is no need to carry food, part of my attire in these places and others on the road , which made the case to half empty. In terms of comfort, I really can't complain. In my opinion this case something ever get used to over time, and the ease (not only physically) is also derived from the time you and hanging bag.

Wanted, and took me rain cover. A week hanging out with the rain and wind, and I must say that he kept things relatively dry inside, considering what I went out there.

Let's say that in relation to the price of this case, it is excellent value.

About my wife's purse.

Considering that half my wife went off with her purse back when (SALEWA) directed at my back, without realizing it, I mean her, especially in the second half of the track after him. His main problem is the disconnect harness connections to ride. Insufficient friction probably.

However, the wife's portfolio Celebrates 4th year of ongoing and intense, and I have to complain about him/her, it harnesses.
