Urgent help required
I was supposed to fly tomorrow morning at 6:15, landing at 9:15 and 11:00 train to Villabassa and cab.
Flight ordered to Verona just out at 8:05 a.m., so you land in Verona before 11, and not likely to be able to leave the airport and go to the train on time (even if you take a taxi from the station).
Maybe you know if is there any other way to get to Lake Reyes on such?
If not, then how can a taxi directly from Verona to Lake
Alternatively, if you use the 1 train and reach Lake 30, can start to climb? (I checked on the Internet and she has invested in 20:34 so apparently have 3 hours of light).
Thanks in advance for any tips you have.

Hello

I plan to make one of the Dolomites at the end of September or even October.

Is it possible in terms of weather?

Does the open rafiog

Ditto about lifts?

Is there a recommended route (about one to two weeks net)

Is there an email address or you can inquire directly with the Italians?

Thank you!

Here's a link to a summary of a Maya (May100) in AV1 in August 2010
Maya's entry contains very useful information and individual. It is strongly recommended

Http://www.hike.co.il/posts/t66780% d7% 90% d7% 9c% d7% 99% d7% 94% d7% 95% d7% 99% d7% 94-1alta via-----% d7% 94% d7% a1% d7% 99% d7% a4% d7% 95% d7% a8% d7% a9% d7% 9c% d7% 99

Liberty. If you want to get a Bill at the end of September or the beginning of the Dolomites, you want it to be a track with AV1 pretty much open all year rpiogis. Please have a look at the story of the track (available for download at the link on the main page of this thread) and see the opening and closing of various rpiogis along the way. Remember the rpiogis on track, some of which closes at the end of September, there are many more options for lodging (hotels, b & BS, etc.) including the points for crossing roads. These accommodations options are available year-round, so basically not prevented to go the path even in mid-October before the heavy snows. September is a great month for walking in the Dolomites and the temperatures don't happen. In October you should be prepared for freezing nights and snow.

Hello everyone!!

I'm planning a trip at the end of September and those just dates (22) with another friend (22.)

I understand it's possible to travel there at this time whether it is worthwhile in terms of weather during the day.

I must say that we are not locked on this rule, we are still looking for a route and a destination-we have 10 days to plan a trip. Until recently we discussed more among Greece to Romania. So we have no idea yet.

About the trip on AV1-unable to get along with and tent? We're a little low on budget and wanted to know if I can take into account style

Would love to see more details.

Thanks in advance

Can do this route in dlponot with accommodation in tents and cooking myself, but this is not acceptable and not see anybody doing it. I personally think this is contrary to the nature of the track that the budget wasn't designed to AV1 depleted. It's a treat that requires at least 50 euros a day.

Think that many arpiogis are closed, there's more snow in passes, check weather local sites I provided.

Era. The track is not passed in May. The season opens at the end of June since before the mountain passes are blocked with snow.

Hello.
First, thanks for all the tips. Helped me a lot in planning the route.

We are planning a trip in early September that includes about 10 days off (finish on Pissa). Since we are not pressed too long, thought to be the first hotel in Verona and next go to Bryce Lake.

Is there a recommendation to someplace in the night?
Should proceed to the trailhead and staying there instead of staying in Verona (we're going to go after the track)? If so, where?

Thanks in advance.
Guy.

Verona city. A little pricey but if budget problems, it is possible to find good hotels in the price range of 100-150 euros per night per couple. If no pressure so of course I want to sleep there and take the early train to Lake. This will enable an early start

Thanks for the detailed explanations.
After trekking in Scotland the WHW grabbed me.

We're undecided between AV1 and TMB.
Just four more to the AV1-prone because it is shorter.
Allowing us to do a few other attractions along the way, and he ends up in Italy.

I plan to fly in late August for an area approximately 15 + days.

Should I wait for flight tested early? Or book now flying to Verona?

NEOS company for cheap flights to Verona-

We'd love to hear about other attractions after the Trek?
I read about 2 published attractions here.

Understand both who rather Is it possible to walk on a glacier?

Thank you

NEOs is recommended and you should wait for last minute flights under $ 200
For example the flight tomorrow in Manaus to Verona currently costs $ 193 compared to regular price of $ 499
Almost always you can find last minute flights and for saving money.
But it's not all just about last-minute flights. August high season may be
Trouble finding last minute flight with back after two weeks. Most flights are short.
With was one week and three or four days. At this point, take a risk.

What iceberg?

We plan to fly in late August so as not to be part of the flood of Europeans make the Trek.

In late August the chance to catch a flight with a two-week stay costs from your experience?

What about the level of difficulty of the Trek from TMB?

About the iceberg that the Marmalade ... you recommended on the first page.

There are other nice attractions to cyclists?

I want to incorporate some nice bike route in the area.

Thank you

Some questions about AV1:

1) can hire a Porter?

2) we don't want to bring sleeping bags due to weight is around late August early September hot enough in/rpiogis?

3) I can't find so much information on the duration of the track every day, I mean, how many hours there are in a day?

4) can shorten the AV1? And how? And if you can skip certain day if we would like one day to pass the day with public transport Or the transformation cost really expensive?

5) Forum realized budget per day is around 50 euros. What is included in the budget? Does the rpiogis for 4 people or more?

Thank you!

Answers. Answers

At the end of August will still be hard to find two-week flight. A matter of luck, of course.
TMB harder than either AV1 parameter. AV1 is perhaps the lightest Alpine of Europe
But it is important to qualify and to remember that it's "relatively easy" compared to other Alpine routes.
The great Marmalade ... The whole area is designed for cyclists.
You cannot hire a Porter. We're not in Nepal. Also do not need to carry Porter 8 kg on his back.
Don't need sleeping bags. Enough sheet and pillowcase. Very hot rpiogis and blankets.
Every day between 4-6 hours. We can go 8-12 hours every day and finish a course in five days.
The AV1 to always allow. Taking a cab. It is quite expensive but subject to haggling (big about 2 euros per kg).
Just need to remember that the taxi had to encompass a large area to short day's walk.
The budget is 60 euros per day per person (120 d). From 50 euros for half-board accommodation and 10 euros for lunch.
Want to save a couple ups. Sleep in a tent and cook in the blowtorch. It is unacceptable, it is not recommended and it is also heavy on my back.
In rpiogis there are double rooms and up to the dormatori in a shared accommodation of dozens of people.

Thanks for the detailed answer.
About the flight, we can fly even in early September.
Think this would be a tea that is easier to find a flight?
What about the Trek in early September? I realized we can done
Until mid-September.

I not only think but also safe from past experience.
August problematic last minute flights.
Need to keep track of all the time that sometimes are released for sale places, due to cancellations, just
A few hours before the flight. In September, the pressure decreases (and the price) and again there is Commons flights
As there are now. Early September is considered a great time walking for.
Perfect weather and rpiogis decreases stress and more availability.
Popular for hiking in August but is possible by the end of the third week of September.
In principle you can explore AV1 until mid-October in terms of weather, but most rpiogis are closed.
