Hello everyone,

I returned recently from a trip of three weeks in Italy, including nine days at the Alta via.

Track: distribution
1. Lago De Bries to Sennes
2. to Sennes Lavarella
3. to Sctotini Lavarella
4. Sctotini to Averau
5. to Staulanza Averau
6. to Staulanza Vazzoler
7. Vazzoler to Passo Pab.duran (San Sebastiano)
8. Pab.duran to Passo Pramperet Sommeriva
9. Pramperet Sommeriva to forno di zoldo and bus to Longarone (Train station)

A few things:
1.
We trekked from August 16th and had amazing weather throughout the trip. No rain during the day (only at night) and only had one that was unusually cold. All the bthecot were really delicious (but wasn't he Vazzoler).
And that is the most important recommendation is to not carry too much, we were with backpacks weighing 6-8 kg without water and didn't feel heavy, try not to move the weights of f.

2.
Our initial plan was to do the listed just two days are different PAB.Duran to passo pain de pian de fontana fontana then to Belluno (similar to recommendations). But the day of pian de PAB.Duran passso to fontana is not feasible, he takes the order of 8-9 hours and at the end of the trip you relative exhausted.

First I recommend to change the times that there was a document "options for dividing the runway so that it reflects the time (even in the story the way it says it takes 8 hours).

My recommendation to end the trip from Passo Pab.duran should look like this:
Passo Sommeriva Pramperet Pab.duran to
Pramperet Sommeriva to Rif. Bianchet
RIF. Bianchet to belluno

Anyway it is a good idea to add an option that I made to the end of the trip, taking three hours walk from Forno Di Zoldo Pramperet to Sommeriva and from there a bus to Longarone which train.
You can also go for an hour towards Forno Di Zoldo and there rpiogy more you can get the car which will drive you to the bus stop (we took the car because if you want to catch the first bus 9 am it's not feasible to go). You can see the Manager at Sommeriva and they can help to arrange transportation.

3.
About navigating is necessary only in two languages (3 and 25) and it covers 90% off. I hope soon to upload scans of the maps that I purchased. Anyway you can cope without maps, we used a lot of bbkatot maps and topographic map I had on my phone with GPS.

Cicrone's book is completely unnecessary and even level, a forum and it's pretty maps and more.

4. it is important, I suggest to rip it to the first post

About the map on my phone, there's an Android named software with which you can navigate oruxmaps using GPS with maps topogfiot.
Download software to search in store has made it its Play or access
Https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.orux.oruxmaps&hl=en

After installing the software and opened the first download the map here:

The map files have put Android device oruxmaps/folder and create a folder with mapfiles what name you want (for example Italy) and within that folder to put the two files downloaded by you.
I mean at the end of the process should be in the ppaon files in the following path: mapfiles oruxmaps//Italy

To view the map and make sure you've done right:
When you open the software, you can access the button with the picture of a map of click Switch map and then click appear Offline where map and watch him.
The map isn't bad but the important thing is that it lacks the numbers.

When thiaio trip simply click the arrow to Start a goat and it automatically detects GPS where you are on the map and show you.
When you have finished click on Stop and other GPS app will continue to follow and will devour much battery.

I hope help all future mettilim, best ashiaia everyone.

Guy

PS if someone has a suggestion about mtcont trip (trip between cool and food huts without having to carry much equipment) could use some recommendations.

Expected good weather with average temperatures for mid-September.
The nights and mornings are going to be in the range of 2-5 degrees and perfect.
Gloves should always be taken even if they didn't leave bag
The weather in the mountains can change quickly and the possibility of snow.
Chances are you don't need thermal gear but not in head light subject of warm clothing.
It is better to carry "just" pounds of clothing rather than freeze to death in some isolated mountain pass because of equipment.
In Corsica in 2009 three hikers froze to death and five others suffered horrible frostbite on my hands because they had no gloves.
All this happened because of a wave of several hours that no one predicted.
In short, they took warm clothing. In mid-September could be very cold in no time.

Thanks for the recommendations. Definitely change the times story (I'm working on a new version of the story).
Also recommending mobile navigation software is great and added to the main post
Almost all the tracks that are recommended here in the Forum are based on routes and some weight on your back.

We came back a few days ago, it was a lovely trip!
Thanks to this forum, without doubt we depart to AV1.

Our tips, and a few other points:
After a tiring flight and dries (literally) it is better to upgrade your ticket to first class rail and save 20 euros or something somewhere else if needed. Or at least get to train with a full water bottle.
(As it is a long journey and exhausting, can't sleep in that should follow.
Not only is our air-conditioner wasn't working, no window is opened. And said thank you found a seat together after these wanderings island between cars.)

Highly recommended hotel for sleep, the night before at Villa Bassa:
Hotel Rose
Warm the team/family that activates it, excellent and abundant, cheap price, nice room, convenient location, and the atmosphere of a small town on the West Bank of the river which flooded (less than mtweir/commercialized than Bryce Lake Hotel, at least.)

About the food, in ripog, in General my experience: food and atmosphere-food. public ripogim better (more food, less formal atmosphere, invites), and of course a pleasant accommodation in the private sector.
You should plan your lunch breaks so that they are in, or if you want to get a sandwich and eat on the way – so take the ripog.

The items in a bag that had the most useful:
-Walking sticks
-Second-skin stickers for shpshfot heels
Feliz – to sit outside to watch the sunset, or to have lunch on the terrace in front of the view on a cloudy day.    And for the first 20 minutes of every day.
-Sunscreen. Unbelievable how much sun there Burns, although much less dazzling than here in the country.
-Energy bars

The items in the case that were not useful
Burn gloves-privatization. The privatization of small-on the way (from novoulau) hardly justifies it.
--Sandals Crocs for hours. Totally unnecessary and not worth the weight. Every ripog ' slippers in various sizes and models. And if you happen to be one of those where there are no clogs, remember that all floors are parquet, can hang around in socks only.
-Sunglasses. The mess of to take and assemble them, downloading them in shady places, keep it in your bag, don't do will fall if we hung them on the shirt, left them deep in a way that implied.
Reservations: you're the most vulnerable, as when sunlight returned the white rocks too, throughout walk – in cloudy/rainy days.
-Mosquito net. On the trail he wasn't consumed, and when we got to Belluno, Verona was hot and there were mosquitoes, you could buy at any pharmacy.

A few points of interest:
-The way sense full flowering (around late August-early September). At least in terms of flowering I know. According to descriptions from the before, I expected something much more arid and very surprised. In spring there are many. Looking forward to the next trip will be to any spring.
Zrzifit streams flowing in this season.
The locals filling anhalim drinking water flowing
Recommended hotel in Cortina, if you happen to get there: hotel pentejel.
The same recommendation as for hotel Rose
-Ripog is recommended that details the lgazvi if tglgeltam and looking for a cheap and good: rif. Col Gallina
RIF col Gallina
Recommendations f:-)
We didn't order from the accommodation on the trail (from what I read before, we took the risk of thrown in the corner and throw us a dirty blanket. But we preferred to maintain flexibility.)
Pretty lucky actually illuminated us (25 August-September 6). Apart from lgazvi and Paso-GEO, all hotels/accommodation was ריפוג'ים, some even played us to a private room.
What we did is we looked at in byala have sense and after've ensured since – continued, and there ripog – ' we asked for two things:
1) if in case someone doesn't get – we want to pay the difference and for private room.
2) to call ripog ' next run accommodations.

Huge thanks again to Amnon!
And to all the writers and filmed and again said.

I want to leave the car in the parking lot of Falzarego at noon and start Trek of several days on his first night on the other at Lagazuoi Nuvolao.
How should the Lagazuoi-cost from the parking lot and go to the next so as not to repeat the same way twice?

Reply to amitshay about taxes:
Recommendation first, do not buy vodafone. We bought their taxes at the train station in Verona, but their cover along the route so bad. In addition, we blocked the card after 2 days.
After checking (with locals) recommend to buy a SIM tim or wind. You can try at the airport of Verona (there's a small shop to the right of the exit), and if not there then in Centre (15 min walk from the train station).
Hope that we could help.

Thanks Judith for the tips and pictures.
I loved the tip for eating and sleeping.
Maybe dinner at Averau was change some preferences
The kitchen at Abreu is probably the best cuisine rpiogy of Dolomites.
All items have a traveler is not used.
Sunglasses are in my opinion required or desired to go shmeonn you.
As you rise in altitude so there is less filtering of solar radiation. Therefore the Sun too.
Incidentally, on the subject. People are surprised to discover how Tan on a cloudy day. Clouds are not a reason to avoid applying sunscreen.

Thanks also to avichai (travel) for the tip about the SIM. This very principle. Help if you can list the fare and pricing of calls made.

Yair (yairwiesenfeld)
About leaving a car in Paso, palzergo to lagsvi and novlau to rafiog the next day. Pay attention to the following map and options you have.

My recommendations are (the routes are marked with green dots):
Start to climb on then palzergo 402 cut left and lagsvi through the agsvi Gallery (take a flashlight head walk in tunnels).
If there is bad weather, you can go to the rafiog cable car, but you are missing the best attractions of the Dolomites (agsvi's Gallery).
The next day you go lagsvi on 401-402 and then you have two options.
1) down for 402 until cable is pretty Island dons rafiog and go to skoiatoli (if you intend to go this year should check when the cable car).
2) off of Highway 412 and climb of 440 skoiatoli rafiog

From skoiatoli to novlau is an hour's walk through rafiog Abreu. All the way is a section of type when novlau is quite steep for Abreu. Novlau in the world!

Nice Jewish.

Galina voice we having too. A great option, considering that lagazvi is probably the busiest along the ripiog hike.

About drinking water sources is important in (or about) grazing of cows, sheep and goats. Although Switzerland is not in the Dolomites but definitely a visit along the way (and a few horse farms). Locals know where to drink safely. About Hardy I recommend not drinking water sources unless some local says.

About flowering-time really is barren of course November to April when covered with snow. In summer (short!) will always be a rash though certainly at the beginning of the season there are a lot more blooming than at the end of August.

The flowers you order if you're interested.

Bluebells

Wolfsbane (the family Ranunculaceae)

Rodondendrom

Strawberry fruit bar (hope I tasted)

Zichrini.

ג'נטיאנה

Alpine poppy (the alpinum Schatzalp papoor).

The latter is the only one I'm not sure. Looks like a species of cranberries.

Amnon,
We had dinner at Averau. A secret no one hears, even two. (Following injury relief made a recovery, and we decided to go back to fill in for doing some exploratory steps and hawing around, and so we stayed there 2 nights)
The first night I took of ... (-)-After a few bites I looked hungry eyes on Alex's lasagna. It has a texture that I couldn't overcome.
The other night I went safe and ordered the Wiener schnitzel. I walked seven and was fine. The Viennese schnitzel I've eaten at hotel Rose in Villa Bassa had better.
So I ate ice cream at some Godforsaken Pinkberry in Belluno.
And forgive me the discerning taste. There's really no intention to defame, only me can just better.

About Sunglasses: so how you doing?
Or are they just so it's worth upgrading your mess?

Iobelsh-thank you!
Thanks for the comment about drinking, it's really important.
About flowering-obviously want:-)
(Cowards to taste. Never mind, next time:-)

Maybe use sunglasses with subtle frame that can break easily.
Trekking sunglasses usually require no special care. They sit tight and there is no reason to remove them in the shady sections.
Those who still fear, tenderness that prevents falling. BTW, don't throw glasses. Why throw?
They have original box. But even if you throw them in your bag, shouldn't happen nothing.

Second snow fell overnight in Alta via. This time it seems heavier and that stays on the ground more than a few hours.

Weather station online that positioned in lagazvi measured is below five with winds of over 50 mph.

There is no doubt that the year early in the season and facing challenges.

Wait to return with stories and experiences.

Another note about the review, I too support spending the night before the Trek and at oilabasha near the Lake.

Nice tourist town in the best sense of the word (not commercial) has a large grocery store and another store where you can obtain TABBACCO, two of which you can purchase maps and hotels are cheaper than the Lake PRAGSER (we slept at EMMA and that old Jewish him and we were very satisfied) in the evening we got fair food is also nice to add to the General ambiance but even without it I think this rather Jesup?

The bus ride takes about 25 minutes to the Lake and the first bus leaves at eight in the morning, so it's not too detrimental programs who want to start early.

Hello
Some were harder and easier part.

The route plan after reading the Forum from beginning to end and in accordance with the recommendations of the Forum.
We went for a walk in the third trimester, and the weather was wonderful.

We didn't like Jewish came uninvited to rpiogis, but we planned, maybe next time we will take more risk.

We parked the car in the parking lot 2 Bryce Lake, and on the last day we went back to get the car
We found out that travel costs and flexibility across different places, cheaper to rent a car,

Now that made the trip there is so much wisdom in retrospect

For example, here's a table that describes the route and stopping places:

Section 1 rpiogo Sennes, Rifugio recommended 6 km 9 hours slept on dorm, this Sunday's long, this rpiogo met people for all the track rendezvous with them again and again, so it's a good idea to start a conversation, develop relationships and get to know the people.

Section 2 rpiogo recommended Scot?ni, Rifugio 14 km 5 hours there. A day of design mistake, forgot to plan a night between Sens. to skotoni
The patch we did – we took three buses, it took us an hour and a half.
1.00 a pdoro until Zwisserhenwasser
2. at 12:30 from Zwisserhenwasser to la Vila
3. at 13:00 from la Vila to paso di Valparola,
And from there on foot for B18 trail to 20A and skotoni.

Rifugio Lagazuoi section number 3, rpiogo, 5 km 7 hours there in the room, this 700-meter long skotoni to lagsvi height, divided into previous years up to Lagazuoi and Lake where up to rpiogo. The hike was along with snow.

Section 4 Aver?u, Rifugio rpiogo recommended 9 miles 6 hours there is but we went down and the cable thus saved 5 hours, so I had time to stroll by the rafiog, and it was raining.

Rifugio Passo 5 section Staulanza, the owner is a professional mountain climber, encourage us and explained on the tracks in an area 12 miles 9 hours there is room, track,
Rifugio Passo Staulanza.
That day we did laundry.

Section 6 "Tissi" Rifugio Attilio, a great place, 20 km 9 hours, there is however, a goat walk
Did a time in Lake kodai, fun to come to Tessie, after a long climb, stunning views and a family atmosphere even though it is a public place.

Section 7 San Sebastiano al Rifugio Passo Dur?n, recommended 17 km 7 hours slept in the room instead of going up to Passo Dur?n decided to finish up and go down to the Camp and take away Triest taxi to Passo Dur?n,
On the way, when we were in rpiogo "and" osoler called and we arranged to pick us up, way down from osoler took about an hour and a half, the taxi arrived 15 minutes after us.
The driver took us to Passo Dur?n will raise EU.
Rifugio San Sebastiano to arrived at 4 p.m., it's a nice little details, is hungry, and asked if I could get something to eat until dinner, brought huge platter filled with breads, cheeses, meats and a salad, and that's just for now,

Completion and return of the car in a lake in rice, we went back to the car on Sunday and just almost no public transport. And drive back to pick up my car was taking.
We found partners to us in return trip by taxi, and three hours back.

Conclusions:
Planning with people there, not just through the Forum, it's one of the reasons for our mistake with booking accommodation.
Carrying little equipment as possible, with borders, each of us took extra clothing. But we lucked out with the weather.
Required sun protection cream, in height.
Taking medical equipment change, here you don't want to save.
The track requires planning, places worth investing in good locations, with water and food.
Buy many sandwiches for the rest of the morning in rafiog, this allows us flexibility.
Don't forget to take pictures that do not normally return to the same place many times.
Private bedroom places giving good service. And they are flexible.

That's the beauty with Israelis. Improvise and make do. Here, where the bus and taxi in the end everything works out for the best.
Just don't understand why doesn't plan to sleep between Sens to skotoni
Almost half the Forum is dedicated to walking programs that determine or in panas to take me out or La Varela after tonight at Sens.
Even in this short day, Pedro is good option. Sens skotoni walking in one day to difficult for a young couple that is in shape.
You are recommended to plan an itinerary with people there, not just through the blog. Which blog?
Here in the Forum write people there. Some have been there more than once.

    But mostly I enjoyed
Thanks for the comment and tips.

    Amnon,
Get the notes, I think that people even didn't notice details the exact distance between the skotoni and sense we thought we could do it in one day.
Wrong, we fix and eventually had a good walk. A sense for pdoro. And paso di Valparola to skotoni.

Us came our friends on track we sat on AV1 maps, it's clearer when looking at the map and you can ask questions for clarification.
But with all the planning, one night they slept in the hallway that they changed the track along the way.

The Forum we learned before, I think that if we sell topographic maps (1:25, 000) of Tabacco area #, # 25 in the country before the trip, the track was clear.
Do you know how can I purchase them?

And a note about the story's way.

So thanks again for the detailed Forum.
