  • Thanks for the quick response! Good to hear that should be relatively dry.

A small correction. I didn't realize that you are just beginning to walk on 26th September.

If still no projection beyond the first two days (I supposed

Should be dry and warm for the season 12-13 degrees).

Need to continue to monitor and catch up.

Thank you for your informative responses.

Tilapia, about the proposal to divide the track-some few per day? Not important for us to know exactly the level meters but to figure out what size to make your walk.

About the Union-the equipment for bikers, but the Trek itself is part of a longer visit in Italy and other places in Europe, so we have more day-to-day administrative equipment beyond the backpack and trekking equipment itself.
Is there a comfortable transport option to leave equipment in Belluno or another around the end of the course I suggested to arrive at the trailhead?

Another option we are considering is at the end of the trek to rent a car in Belluno and from there to Venice, Milan-Lakes and so maybe we can pick up your equipment. Do you have a good idea in the case where to leave your equipment?

Thanks again!

These conditions took Amnon's suggestion. Get there by train, there are numerous hotels and motels throughout the levels.

Leave your hotel equipment where blah. The next morning, take a bus first to DOBIACCO, an hour's drive. Get off at the station.

This latest "central station" of the town's two bus parking. Also from the same place to Lago di Rais and get going.

However completing it relatively easy to reach Cortina if a bus or train.

The distances are not impressive, quite long day could be 17-20 km it's time of steep ups and downs.

If you are in good shape you won't have any problem to get to Paso Duran in six days and unless the weather changes.

About renting a car do in MESTRE and Belluno.

Check wouldn't be cheaper to buy some clothes in MESTRE (Venice) and make your trip rested terms bounces.

It's not that expensive and will save a lot of time (= money). Everything else is.

Hey guys,

Thanks again for all the replies and ideas, no doubt we would not reach one-quarter of our enterprise level without this forum!

We thought about it too many places in the world there is a way you removed the bag with the things that you do not take early and getting it back at the end of the catwalk, nominal fee of course. Anyone knows such a service?

The option is a taxi from vilbasa to the end point.  The price of a taxi from vilabsha to Belluno is about 200 euros.

Don't know another rockin' service equipment. Perhaps Amnon know.

Locked out of the option of leaving. The clothes you wash in (underwear, shirt, socks) you can also travel wash

After the Trek, where you sleep. I don't think you go to the Opera in Milan and there is no need for a suit and DRESS CODE no Teatro alla Scala.

You can settle for a couple extra clothing for the trip after a Trek pair (150 g), extra pair of socks, shirt and pants all together no more than a pound.

I think you can get too much money and too much time on the ride. Flight costs about $ 400. Every day increases the proportion each flight + accommodation + food.

The wasted day booked capzzot + price bouncing. My rough calculation shows that aakapta costs about $ 200 is wasted.

We know from other parts of the world, such as South America, Nepal, travel agencies have at sea they have cars travelling in the area and are willing to do these things (moving equipment from point a to point b) for sums of 10 euros or so.

Therefore we thought it could be a great option.

Obviously we take a cab back for the equipment.

Although we hear Opera in Milan, but go watch Oprah in San Siro instead:)
The thing is just not comfortable clothing, but port suit, shoes, small bag, 4 5 ק״ג amount a person easily and can facilitate.

4-5 kg per person . I can't imagine what weighs so much. Are you taking weights for training.

There is no need for extra shoes for the rest of the trip. Your walking shoes are excellent also to San Siro.  And the Lake use Crocs.

Small bag (k) put in your backpack and it will function like a cell.

A backpack that contains everything you need to trek should not weigh more than 10 kg, including water and food in a way that was easy.

And I can't weight to a minimum. There is nothing wrong to lose nine pounds. Add a pair of clothes + small bag and you are at maximum 11 kg per person.

It is much simpler and cheaper than acapzzot. I REST MY CASE.

Assuming that the final status and each of you has a 5 kg of excess equipment he want to leave behind and at the end of the track so
The cheapest option will be to take the train from Milan to Venice and leave the hotel you plan to stay overnight whilst visiting the city.
From Venice you reach the trailhead by bus via doviazzo/Cortina. Not complicated. About 5 hours from Venice to the Lake.

Anything else would be speculative because you don't know where the finish for only visiting Venice is with you bunker (also San Siro:)

Until now people leave equipment in lockers at the train station in Verona or a rental car or hotel.
I don't know the Dolomites which supplies service change at the end of the runway. If there is one, so it is neither 100 euro in 10 euros.

Planning to purchase a backpack to date for a 6-5 days on AV1.

My backpack 50 l + 10. I think enough gallons.

Is this assumption correct?

Hello friends,

After paragraph (which I read a few pages of HIKE) returned for Cleveland with my summer to AV1.

After reading the latest information by implementing long saw that Amnon recommend flights to Venice.

Prices of comfortable but ELAL arrival onizia for the track look.

CONNECTION of Austrian flight brings us a price similar to that of Innsbruck, with ELAL within 3 hours and some of the train arrive to VILLABASSA. Also, after the Trek, we'd like to indulge in Tyrol and return to Innsbruck.

Is there something I'm missing? I suggest not recommended?

Thanks (I guess that who further questions.)

Flight to Innsbruck is a great option, especially when you're at the end of the hike.
The flight to Venice a favor in terms of returns that Venice is a short distance from the end of the track and worth to move it at the end of a day or two.
No doubt to the trailhead from Venice is a bit tedious if you have a rental car and you want to do this for trains and buses
Has twice daily bus from Venice to doviako but it doesn't syncs well with ELAL's flights.

Updates about e-mails and phone file path:

Rifugio BIANCHET

Email the file doesn't work.

The updated email: rifugiobianchet@hotmail.com

SCOTONI RIFUGI

Phone and e-mail listed in the file install but apparently it comes straight to the hut and this season they are busy.

I got the phone and emails:

0039-0471847031

Info@ciasaanna.it

Invite all the huts in advance that no simple thesis requires tracking.

There are places that right now there are no double rooms and therefore, with the disadvantage of the book advance, I prefer it.

Also, in comparison to the Italian part of the TMB is surprisingly not boyfriend here. Lucky I emit a few words in English, but it's not easy.

Keep update (Amnon: Please update your location excellent file!)

Eduardo

Hello:)

Last summer we were on track rotate the Mont Blanc and so fun that we decided to do the summer Alta via!

Be 4, my mother and two younger brothers, all in very good shape and experience in tracks.

Accumulated number of questions: should I buy now already cabins? The dates are 10.4-16.0

He's planning to sleep in ooilabasa or in the Lake, although according to booking.com, ooilabasa no vacancies to 10.4!

I went by the published recommendations when beginning to walk and siiimim Paso 17 Duran:

1. the sense

2. for lovarla or Sens panas to take me out (better?)

3. panas to take me out to the skotoni

4. skotoni to Divonne

5. Divonne to Abreu

6. Abreu to stolenza

7. stolenza to oazoler

8. oazoler to Passo Duran

Good outline and legwork sane to allow us to go, stopping for coffee and photos along the way.

Are there any other recommendations for distribution? I read a lot of advise to arrive at lagsvi and skoiatoli. In this Division we won't get them.

Thanks a lot! Lior

1. is a good idea to book right now.
2 there's a big difference between panas to take me out to La and Arla. Both are good. Panas to take me out more.
3. a balanced division. Please note that rafiog and azoler is not recommended. The recommendation is to continue a little longer to Capanna Trieste rafiog 4. The planned route reaches rafiog to agsvi and skoiatoli. That doesn't mean there not old strip-mining and stopping to enjoy them.

Annotation.

We slept in the night before the Trek at oilabasha at EMMA and I recommend it.

Try to book directly on site at the link I attached. A quick test seem to have vacancies for tonight.
