Here is a track made in October last year:

General background:
The track is in South Turkey.

It is the second longest track Kate cloau designs and marks in Turkey after the Lycian way. He also starts more or less where the Lycian way ends, interested and his hand could connect the two tracks to one long track (something like a month and a half).

The track begins with the Antalya region of southern Turkey, at sea level and rising North and up to 2000 meters area the Toros mountains, isperta and the Lakes.
According to the book track length is approximately 500 km of marked (in my opinion, this includes his two options if you select just one probably less, something around 350?). The walk of about three weeks. I appreciate all the time (we did) approximately 16-18 days.

Why even go?/Highlights:
The track is very varied and offers different landscapes.
Izili Mall, davraz, Lake e?irdir.
But definitely above all: close, intimate encounter with the natives. Very welcoming and hospitable. Every village we passed people interested in us if we need help, filled as to pay and heavy trmilano in fruits, nuts, and miniature pastries. Be warned: they don't take "no" for an answer ASAP! The value accordingly.
One night I slept and ate at the home of a local family and very poor in relation to the place, another night there was a iaiila (Shepherd's hut) in the mountains although the owners weren't there at all, they just see us as immigrants feared to have Kerr there (and indeed it was very cold!) and offered us to stay there.
You can also stroll in October when most of Europe is too cold (perfect for holidays that fall late)

Type of route:
The track is very diverse in terms of terrain and landscapes: canyons, forests, high mountains, large lakes, waterfalls.
Moving frequently, mostly small villages, which allows a direct encounter with the natives. Local character: ordinary people in small villages and live in poverty, but they are rare and invite guests to eat and sleep with them (see pictures).
You can sleep anywhere in the area, and to aldlik (carefully).
There's water in streams, but they may be dry in late stage of the season (late summer). Some wells to water very clean normally don't have to (ask around).
Mountain peaks of 3000 m, area approximately 1000 meters Lakes.

The track is built with two "legs" which means there are 2 different starting points. Both later connection about halfway through. We did the Western route.

Accommodation:
There are several large villages along the way. In General, we slept in a tent.
In Sochi and e?irdir there.

Historical background:
St. Paul is Paul Simon thassi, born in what today is southern Turkey in 2010 a.d. as a Jew, a descendant of the tribe of Benjamin.
In his youth was a talmid chacham (probably under Gamaliel in Jerusalem) and opposes Christian and doomed young participated in the persecution of the Jews mtncerim. During one of his travels to Damascus this tribute "revelation" (according to the New Testament) of Jesus crucified and communicated this experience of Anglo-Saxon paganism and became a Christian missionary from apatlanim in the same period that, according to some scholars, he was the founder of Christianity and Jesus. In addition to isioneris he wrote of himself many important religious texts in the New Testament.
After the tnzerotho renamed to Paul.
He made 3 large Turkey travel, advocated for Christianity, and received much sympathy there.
In one of his coming "home" to the port city of PERGE East of Antalya. Away up North to the Taurus to Antioch in pisidia capital to YALVAC town. This is the track that makes the route described here, using mostly old Roman roads that could very well move Paul himself.
The end of Paul was wrong. When he came to Jerusalem in the year 57 a.d. said about Jews (according to the New Testament, of course) who got wrong for the temple, wrong of course.
He was taken to Rome, according to his request to stand trial there, there indeed was judged and executed 10 years later.
Link addition of Paul to us: young would make tents!

Climate, when to go:
In General, we can talk about two climatic zones:
1) Antalya area and beach: is characterized by Mediterranean climate similar to Israel (Galilee). In this area you can explore most of the year, the summer too hot. Recommended months: April-May, mid-September to October.
2) isperta area: as North and the climate is changing and becoming much colder up to almost the highest mountains Alpine. Snow could begin to decline from November. The winter recommended only for those who have experience walking in the snow and cold conditions. The rest, from May to October. Even in summer can be cold at night so please.
We recommend a month Director area ideal:
-A stable weather and is expected to be good throughout the Trek,
-Are likely to be more water in rivers. At the end of the summer sometimes the streams already dry if wet season had no/thanks.
May is the period of flowering and isperta area full of fields of roses blooming in May and then picking up the leaves in favor of perfumes, jams, oils, etc. Isperta city is famous worldwide for its roses and it's big business in the region.

Books & maps:
There are, of course, Kate's book (you can buy in the country). Not far different number. It's a good idea to try to buy the latest and updated on the site.
The official site for

Turkey maps it sore. Void.
An attempt to attach to something that looks like a map but is very inaccurate. We had the first edition, the second that bmadora has improved significantly. I tried to use Google maps at the same time, but it doesn't really work.

Markup:
Basically the track should be marked. In practice, there are sections that are marked with (even more) and sections that are missing markup. There are occasional signs, just in isperta province. In General, isperta district marked much better, mainly סוצ'ולר area.

Getting to the trailhead:
First of all must come to Antalya. Cheap and simple as it sounds, apparently not. Cheap flights and/or deals are forever, which means it's not suitable for anyone who wants to explore more. What you have to do is take a regular flight to Istanbul and from there or fly to Antalya or take a bus (14 hours). It's not cheap. The possibility of a second thought and it was cheaper to buy 2 round-trip Charter flights (i.e. 4 flights) and utilize two, it still got cheaper (even if it includes hotel!!!) but it turns out it's not even possible because otherwise on the flight from Israel, give your spot to someone else and lose your place on the flight back.

After coming to Antalya should reach the trailhead. As mentioned above, there are two possible starting points.
To reach the Western starting point (Perge) need to take a bus or a taxi (minibus) to Almaty and going a little along the highway and (perhaps also has taxis to the site but I'm not sure).
To the East starting point (Aspendos) take the bus to Serik.
As mentioned above, due to shortness of time we decided to skip the first part (the leg) that mostly goes on, and connect to the track at akchapinar. To get there take the bus to Serik (foot) and went in some road junction (the driver will tell you, this should be the third North node where after taking a dolmu? Almaty to Cizre Gebiz and another name (or foot) to akchapinar maybe but it's not complicated (what – patience should preferably in abundance).

End port:
Take the ialooach bus (Yalvac) e?irdir to isperta and Antalya or Istanbul.

Production:
In Antalya (manicures only) and found something chances are choalia. We should get gas there for something like 10-12 days. The next point where there is gas in isperta County, Egirdir e?irdir
Food can be bought in Antalya, סוצ'ולר, gkadra, yukar? sipahiler, e?irdir.
ATM's in Antalya, סוצ'ולר and e?irdir.

If you have specific questions on ecstatic.
Omar.
