There is an absolute consensus between the various sites for weather forecasts within six days, and it doesn't matter. Before

Some days it's Tuesday for RAIN in 80% and likelihood of SHOWERS in the afternoon.

Right now there is no problem and the weather walking does not bother at all.

I search one day in Chamonix at the beginning, the end or kormior in order to take the cable car.

A question closer than water in October. ...

Weather forecast for Tuesday in Chamonix Mont-Blanc is the one.

Whether to give up the COL DE oariant of TRICOT and SILK FABRICS and the suspension bridge?

By rain this afternoon.

I had gotten a cable sister dress to Bellevue and saves an hour of rising and going through variation.

It's raining. But it says cloudy morning and whether it's high or low clouds.

If you see all the mountains are covered with clouds, there's not much reason to go in and then you mist variation in the normal way (without cable)

First thank you and a phone accessory adekunle. I think to do is to take the cable car Prarion. Les Houces

Regardless of the weather. From Prarion down to Col de Voza. At this point to decide whether to go to clouds variation

Or continue on course. And tomorrow the forecast could change as it has changed in recent days, pretty much all day.

Take the cable car at Les Houces-bellvieu
He puts you right on the route of one kilometer from variant col de voza

If the weather is reasonable, you turn left to variation. Unlikely-right to the head.

The final decision will only be tomorrow night at LES HOUCHES.

Last week, the plans were changed several times depending on the weather, including change of Greece.

Two cable cars and a few decent cable option. See tomorrow what PALUD

The latest forecast for Tuesday and decide on the spot.

Anyway, if you decide to do the first part in cable select cable I made more sense (no matter which route you choose).

Have fun, hang out, have fun and the weather shine his face.

Thank you. There will be some rainy weather on Tuesday but clarified for the future.

You're right about the cable offering. If I go the slightly shorten this variation.

In the meantime I plan the weekend kormior. I think I'm going to try to take away the cable

The white Valley. The weather on Saturday looks OK at an altitude of 3500. See below.

Returned tonight. During the holiday get some posts about my trip and mkomotheno. This thread three years

And this is the TMB and the old forum twice as long. Can't understand how in manuals and here almost never talk about the most

All that beautiful that is not even on the trail, but between Chamonix to kormior: ride the cable car above the Valley. I waited for almost 40 years.

Repeat the experiential, and this time successfully.  In all the Alps. Each picture is worth a thousand words, but nothing can compare to the real thing.

White Mountain

Happy new year friends

Some general words about the trip:. The weather was great and 2 hours rain (not dripping) on the first day of the trip was an adventure in itself. There is a special charm on a trip alone. There is also one drawback that dawn has raised it a few weeks ago. The disadvantage is reflected in the evenings in Chamonix Mont-Blanc. Connected to people all over the world, I loved him very much. The rate varies from day to day. If it was just physical fitness 8 days per track were insufficient. Down from BREVENT to PLANPRAZ (during regular tourist day), less than two kilometres took me three hours. The scenery does not allow to go faster. The local radio stations, making the experience all the way.

Who starts in PALUD and should recommend to stay the first night in Chamonix Mont-Blanc. LES HOUCHES village died. In the morning you can get free public transport to the trailhead. In retrospect I would begin and end in Chamonix Mont-Blanc. The whole thing from TOUR to PALUD did with bounces on train, bus and cable usage when I was staying at the hotel enjoy POINTE ISABELLE (the hotel's beauty, its rates). Except for the first day, everywhere and hotel booked the night before and never had a problem getting a place in a private room. In total I went nine days + day lifts above the Valley. Two days were long and the rest were short in terms of distance (no time). Long days of walking were properly relaxed pace. Sometimes there are. Two days I was a tourist. I started walking in 1.9.

Day 1:

  1. LES HOUCHES to LA-I BLAME early today in accordance with the recommendation of the BELLEVUE cable car Yuval (thanks). The weather for the afternoon was not promising. I went on the track. I came to like CONTAMINE 13 at noon. Ohio couple I met in the eyes, until LA BALME there about three hours. The rafiog ' is listed in the directory, which was under French LES CONTAMINE. The hours for walking under the rain. I got mostly wet sweat under a poncho. Change it to something easy breathing. Shared accommodation (private room.). The 12-room 3 beds and couples. Warn everyone that if I snore not beating me over the head slap, but use heat balance. It took me a few hours for sleep. German couple next to me in the 40th. The woman knocked teeth every 30 minutes and her husband snored like a trumpet on the one hand, and almost gave up his soul from the other side. Another couple in the 1960s: the husband's prostate woke him at least three times, and his wife was afraid to come out from the room to the bathroom, and has had to borrow it. The couple from Ohio in the 1950s slept quietly. Three times I was able to sleep, I got up once.

Day 2:

  1. LA BALME to LES MOTTETS (Les Chapieux) – the night before I ordered and approved private room at LES MOTTETS. I went through the COL DE variation in FOUR. When I came to LES MOTTETS said: "we have no mistake, private room. It was very annoying. I told the Manager (who wasn't nice.): "if I were you I'd turn my room into the benefit of a guest and go for" dormitori The guy got mad and said: "we don't even have a place for you. A few minutes later calmed down and realized I made a mistake in front of guests and ears. He went to his Office and after a few minutes straight to me in private room found at Les Chapieux. He took me in his car there. The place called CHAPIUEX in LES Les Chambres du Soleil. Can accommodate approximately 25 in private rooms only. Excellent rooms, some with shower and toilet are shared two rooms. The people in the 70s very nice, making every effort to make your stay in place. The owner is also the chef and the food was very good, definitely a-class. At the price of euro 92 got full hosting unlimited wine, white or red, home owners produce packed off + the next day. This meal didn't ride dud battery to finish by the end of the day. In the morning the landlord takes us in his car to VILLE DE GLACIER, 2.5 km. accommodation is excellent and highly recommended. Phone: 04-79313022 website: www.leschambresdusoleil-montblanc.com.

Day 3:

  1. Ville de Glacier till morning FREE WI-hotel owner in the next straight expected good weather at VALEE BLANCHE (white Valley), and that was reason enough to pick up the pace and reach kormior. The cable car at the end of the day, closing at 31.8. The decline of the town, at the end of the day, was hurt. Hotel CROUX slept. Very nice hotel and the owners. The Italian and Dutch owner.

Day 4:

  1. White Valley day. Buses to La Palud, then comes the white cable, kormior every hour or so. Hotel owner volunteered to give me a ride in his car (about 5 km). The experience over the white Valley required everyone who travels in TMB. The two cable cars. One of the top of the mountain (40 euros) to POINTE HELBRONNER Italian side and the two open only as long as the weather is suitable. Ride it up to AUGUILLE DU MIDI above Chamonix and 39 euros. The experience is worth every euro. Who crowded in to take this "loan" from their parents. If the weather doesn't suit up no point only one cable cost. Wait to try your luck again when back to Chamonix. The French side kicked my fear of heights. Built glass room called "La Pas dans le Vide", "step into the void. From the floor of the cubicle the gaze is 1 km vertically downwards. After I got back from the white Valley. "the greatest experience of the trip. Is it worthwhile to continue. It took me a few hours to relax. The other half of the day I traveled almost in the older part of kormior, it is highly recommended.  PIZERIA DI TUNNEL is very good, thank you very much for the recommendation adekunle. Said pizzeria they most famous pizzeria. I made a name with a pair of Americans I met on the way and it worked well. The restaurant up the street is good.

Day 5:

  1. From Arnouva to FREE WI – for Italy marks worse than in France, but okay. In France if wrong way sign you didn't see. In ARNOUVA with 7 rooms, all private. The beauty of the place. The food is very good. The portions are not too generous.

Day 6:

  1. From Arnouva to CHAMPEX – in the morning at Grand Col de Ferret was in freezing weather. The pass itself is a very strong wind was blowing. The ground was covered in rain (no snow). Downhill after the pass the weather was almost springlike. I came to LA 1:00 noon FOULLY. Met the film actor TIM ICE CREAM. Instead of requesting photo, he dismissed and he returned my smile and wave. Next time would take care to photograph. The sign towards LES CHAMPEX showed 4.5 hours and decided to continue. Rising to CHAMPEX has many sculptures of wood and mushrooms, but the surprising signage. At least twice I had to wonder where the path. Swiss murder rates, as expected.

Day 7:

  1. TRIENT a short day trip to CHAMPEX in terms of distance. I went through the glacier variant of mainly Australian couple recommended favorites of Russian origin (brother). It was a fun day with great weather almost 9 hours. At AUBERGE MONT BLANC has no private rooms and gave me a room with six beds for myself. The meal was shared. The landlord more than doubling the annual profit of the business by that he backed euro francs it costs. The euro it should be 8% less. The report to the tax authorities in Switzerland the bastard serves Franks and making profit of course exempt.

Day 8:

  1. From TRIENT to LE TOUR – it's also pretty short in terms of distance. At COL DE BALME old witch claimed 5 euro "" soup BOUILLON.  The soup was a melted powder with warm water. After that I found out that tea is 20 euros, I. .. Lost oariant toward LE TOUR. From there I took a train from Chamonix to MONTROC. The annual one night at Hotel Gustavia Langley. Would recommend to stay away from it completely. Not worth the price. I think they sell at its history. Its history may be a list, but the rest of us. I went to the nearby POINTE ISABELLE is very recommended.

Day 9:

(LE TOUR (MONTROC to PLANPRAZ-train ride from Chamonix Mont-Blanc MONTROC station on short notice to TRES LES CHAMP and the main route through La Flegere to Planpraz. (Note: the oariant of LAC BLANC is worth only if the frozen lake, for my taste). At the end of the day, declining cable car to Chamonix Mont-Blanc.

Day 10 (9th day walk):

From PLANPRAZ to PALUD – her (stunning) in two cable cars up to LES BREVENT. LES HOUCHES and walk back to Chamonix.

Some advice in Chamonix Mont-Blanc: Cook more than one night there can purchase daily ticket or two and more to cable cars and different attractions – MONT BLANC MULTIPASS. The card greatly lowers costs. The cost does not include a cable car ride above the Valley. The train ride to the MER DE GLACE is only worth if you went inside the ice tunnel. 3 hours back and forth including kickstand drop ice tunnel. This experience is included in the price of the ticket. The miserable condition glacier should be called Mer de Glace (de). (Excuse my unclean tongue). Kind of scary to see the fastest glacier retreat. Every year more than ...

In Chamonix Mont-Blanc met Arthur looks great and Tan.

In conclusion: great trip, great and fun vacation great.

Concentrated mainly on the report and then some. At TMB enjoyed more than on AV1.

Soon put flyers distribution reporting. Something that you can apply in Hungary.

Welcome to יענקל'ה. Really enjoyed reading your summary but most enjoyed making the quoted description fantastic and hilarious situations, probably many of us encounter them. Not whether the practice did indeed help you.

Happy new year from the toilet.

We went back last week and was just awesome!

A few tips:

On the last day for the Lac Blanc and the cabin had one of the heiliits of our trip.

We highly recommend the variation between Cormier to the bonti, attractive one, especially in the landscape from Tete de la Tronche.

We didn't, but warned that the eight horiant in stiag by the book and even highly dangerous in rainy weather.

New bungalow-LAC DE COMBAL: Elisabetta to Maison Vieille opened new cabin, approximately 45 minutes from Elisabetta, change her friends very recommended (said anything), she does not appear in the book or on this website.

Its details to all prospective travellers:

יענקל'ה made me want to do the track (good summary to share!)

Yes, enough for over the summer and I'm already thinking about next summer trip (for the record this summer that was too busy with school and work Affairs that barely went for a walk and to organize future burning bones). I think it's time for me to do this route!

Me and my followers double bedrooms. Most already know after many wanderings on the Web and in various forums, but there might be a few small points I care to clarify:

1. What's with non-potable water in the Chamonix Valley?
I didn't think to get a filter/decontamination measures for this kind of trip, but now I weigh again. What is your opinion?
(Basically upset me to buy bottled water overpriced hovels in the area).

2. unofficial camping near saying it right-cabin who cook in the makeshift camp. Do you ask those responsible before the construction cabin tent there or maybe its the tent and kiootam for good? Have you paid any money to responsible in cabin Do I have to pay to the cabin (no really camping set)? Whether you use the services? Can I use the service?
Some more information about it can be useful.

3. normally we use our tours chalia In Chamonix Mont-Blanc can find reasonable priced chale litres or more we recommend will go on more common gas option? And if the gas balloons in the more common "runway or that need to be carried out with 2, 3 gas tanks bought in Chamonix Mont-Blanc.

Look forward to next summer.

In summer the slopes above the valley filled with thousands of cows, sheep and goats that graze on the alpine meadow (alfaz). Their droppings are washed with rain and find their way into streams draining the area. Direct potable water only in areas above the meadows that is close to replicators passim. The rest of the track should not drink from streams without purification. (Or not at all, I'm not sure how this efficient purification against what exists in me..) BTW, I think at most ripiog has taps for filling and pure water. Three places I remember clearly is on the outskirts of her contmin towards the end of the first day through Variant (remember point especially because I forgot the name of one of my walking sticks and other track made with singlestick) near the rafiog Nantes Burnett (2 about halfway it must consider de venhom) and below the rafiog Elizabeth near the abandoned military barracks. I'm pretty sure there's more I didn't even notice. It's not total and hardly needed to fill water while walking.

2 I don't tent ioshni so maybe I'm wrong but I don't recall tents near Elisabeta and the environment there is suitable for personal tents (all under space rafiog is steep and rocky slope). I remember seeing tents near rafiog Cole venhom de stardst and I know I put a tent near rafiog ' rafiog ' otats he was before Elizabeth.

3. I have no idea.

Hey Anat,

I can't sleep in a tent, but if you need I'm sure water will let you fill in all places,

Surely if you get something to eat. In Chamonix Mont-Blanc has camping, and kormior.

In most places in route I definitely sure that will be a problem to ask for water refills. Probably wouldn't consider taking if filter things I read (here in the thread), specifically the region of Lac Blanc and La Flegere cabin. Can't remember who wrote it, but I remember reading they had to buy 500 ml bottles at inflated price because there was another option. (Probably not to fill them).
However, after a good night's sleep had the idea of just taking some Aqua purification tablets. Not Solomon but simply packing some tablets that will be part of a first aid assessment/second/third which would be ideal for every ... Problem solved.

About saying it right-read the next few online that people set up tents (again, in the form of an improvised encampment) * above * the cabin. It's not far and iceberg supposed (according to reports I read and some pictures I've ever seen) to be relatively comfortable zone name. But the question again is how and whether there is or should be responsible for interaction in the cabin?
Here is a picture that I took of the place was. It seems they were able to manage:

Still left open the question about availability of formaldehyde gas tanks against available. If anyone has anything to add.

Anat, when I was at Flegere (somewhere in 2010, it has been quite a long time ago so maybe something has changed ...) there was signage which where water drinkable. There was no explanation, but elsewhere (natural factions) on why people (including me) refine/plterim is the presence of visiting every corner.

(Actually near Lac Blanc and Flegere don't remember seeing cows so perhaps there?)

Solution purification tablets that will do the job but they have these disadvantages Island compared to filters. Using tabs should wait until the stuff works. Filters, however, produces good water availability. In addition to using HEPA filter no aftertaste and it also removes particles from water (very important as water sources for picking up a "weak", Sandy Lakes etc).

I recently got the filter mini sawyer even it was a little bit of work. I definitely recommend. Don't see myself going back to tablets but not sure this route (TMB) justifies (in itself), buying a filter.
