Hello to everyone!

I read this forum and supported by the information that already exists here, but now I decided to gather some questions that came up to me while reading, hope to get answers:)

I plan to go for a mid-late August, this I graduate him, without pressure, in mid-October. Those dates since October I attend University.

I have no equipment, and I need to buy everything from scratch, so we're alike in that way has right to food-buying good equipment, not heavy, not Chile. And in the matter of (calling some to the point of water) was yesterday and I went to a veterans steve. I saw there nad water with tap water, which can get into the shell, and its capacity is 10 liters. I know, you don't need more than 4 liters a day, walking, and additional water for cooking and washing, but do you think I should use a tank to the South?

I have to admit that everything is quite clear, and water thing leaves me rather perplexed.

And another question: do we have to go with topographic maps, or we can handle with several of Bill and markings?

Well, that's all for now, if you remember anything else, back:)

Thank you and Hello!

Daphne.

10 liter water is quite excessive.
With landfills, in the right places, and the appropriate hours you don't have more than 5 liters a day walk. For women is even less, depending on size.
I can't tell you that out in August, but I know the McCain comfort for walking during the day not be big (both South and North)-like 4-5 hours a day. Maybe to go to sleep at night, but during the day won't be a lot of fun.

Take the trails and check maps, photographers only combs the relevant parts for it is much more comfortable map made casts a lot of integrity or the book of Bill that is not helping the issue almost drawn maps which aren't.
From experience, it works great and saves weight.

Also, get ready so that the appropriate equipment to South/North will be waiting for you in the pass, as friends, so you don't have to carry equipment irrelevant just so you can use it a month later.

Good luck
Assaf.

In terms of dates, I don't think you need rain gear, maybe something warm for dinner in the Negev.

Water tank, flexible cane 3 itiram with spoon and rest in suction backing.

Number of declaration. Yes, maps scanned sections. Many searched Forum, just ask and someone will answer.

The fit? Most importantly, It's a pity that no equipment and devices start next week and quit in shame.

Join my predecessor said: it would be really hot. Kelly to start later. Semester and vacations can have complete path segments. Worth the wait for weather in the desert, plus a week's trip a great relief from the congestion.

Don't see a need for more shlocr a gallon. The Citron-10 litre rucksack ineffective.

Go to the landfills in the desert, knclim. Use the ג'יפולוג Forum.

If you start in the North in August, would be difficult in terms of weather, but reach the desert while very hot. " On the other hand, if you have a hot southern desert murder but almost hot-nice. For you to choose from.

The date you want to start slow and limited. Offers only shopzert night for hanging rods and, instead, at least in the South: and consider if you need other shelters in the North. (Anyway, have long lunch breaks until fever and mosquito net save you also flies).  In my opinion there is no point in these seasons, but if you determine that you need a tent, wait with purchase until gain some experience.

Thank you everyone for your responses!

Do you really think if I start from the North it would be so unbearable, even towards the end of August? If so, when would you recommend, since much of the trail make it before mid-October?

I thought really just go in the morning, in the afternoon and return to go until dark. How many hours should go? Can I do it?

The truth is not critical for me to do the trail in one piece, I have no problem to do only half (from the North to the Centre) and continue another time, but I hate to give up the experience of the entire trail from end to end.

What do you think you can't handle

Late August somehow more bearable. Really you need comfort, it's also a good idea to start giving your body to adjust. If you have, then by the end of Sukkot, and if you do things right from the start, won't be too heavy and build muscle and fitness, could advance the pace really well afterwards. Nice.
