Hey,

My friend and I are planning to walk the trail in two weeks from the North to the South, it comes out on November 3-4. Does it make sense in terms of weather? Because according to the test I did from reading other people's material, that makes sense and you must take a tent. And in winter comes late and relatively non-continuous rain. Ode for advice.

Just don't build on a simple tent gives you the job, most fluid and wake up in a puddle in the morning is the worst thing that can happen, I mean the usual gray tents entertain sold in gas stations and supermarkets. This does not mean to say you go and spend thousands of dollars on a tent, there are relatively inexpensive tents suitable for rainy days.

Hey!

I went in December-January. I can't count the days it doesn't rain for some too.  I had a couple of days the rain did not stop!

Walk in the rain can be fun too, but there are some things you should consider:

1. you should try walking and sleeping in the rain before setting out such a trip (but this is true for the rest of the trip ).

2. when the day is over and you're in a tent (hopefully keeps you drier), Zeb. some dry clothes. The best thing is to keep clothing dry night set in a garbage bag, and in addition to other important stuff bag. After a long walk in the rain is the only thing that would keep the dry business.

3. construction of a tent in the rain (and moreover-cipolo) require quite a bit of practice. Important thing assuming you intend to sleep the next night either alcohol!

4. techniques has improved ialoto of the rain tent. I suppose you could find a lot more information. (Drainage, selecting a location, stretching, foam sheets effective etc.)

5. energy -this section is perhaps the most important of all! After a long walk in the rain and cold, the clothes get wet — won't help anything. This is like an energy pump body, especially strenuous hike with a lot of weight. It is important to be efficient energy sources and draw (Hilwa, dried fruit, tea prepared with thermos in the morning etc.).

Don't be fooled by all the above scare you-still in Israel. However, a rainy day is accompanied by strong winds in the area as high as mount Meron, mitzpe Ramon, can certainly be dangerous in terms of ipotermiia. Be aware of the matter. (Don't forget to listen to the weather and make sure there's no fear of flooding).

Good luck!!

See what has been written, yankele ע"יסרול, Jonathan. Every word. I think you can reach Jerusalem. I considered doing the opposite, South to North?

Recommend to start. Finish the month to Jerusalem despite the rises on the way.

What you see on the road won't see military service. So there is nothing to do. Another thought, assuming the weather is a consideration, I would start around Jerusalem and goes South so one month arrive to Eilat, and so save the increases. To start in the North and South as well. Have a good time.
