Hey,

I visited Jordan several times (15-20) and it is an amazing country with extraordinary recommen.

I think it is worth to invest and buy or book of tibia (available second hand) or the book's favorite (Trekking and Canyoning in the Jordanian Dead Sea Rift)at Amazon

The second-best mainly the southern routes

Please consider to take you. On my last trip (rajef area) got bit too by Rattlesnake and was with a local guide (my wife wouldn't let me know otherwise smart) saved my life-literally.

About hiking can go almost anywhere-South Indian Wadi Rum and Gilead, and the area most topographic routes in Central/North East-West. South Jordan there are quite a few tracks I can attach some round and some over the top of the Ridge (East)

A number of possible routes:
Rajef area (PETRA)
Petra (at least one day, if I was alone I stayed 2 days)
Connect with:
Day ג'ולייף – mount rajef (ascending and descending) – is at the
Jebel packed – Wadi all-out – is visible if six
Jebel Ravindran (malls black/white)
Wadi-Wadi Abu orock Castle – back

Central region (from North to South)
And Eddie Hayden top (4 hours) or top + ()
Ibn Hamad (or to the end or to heat ore)
Wadi guire throughout
Wadi zered shelter/complete.

Required required required to enter Arnon

I recommend you dismantle the three times,
In Jordan, and total hours of crossing the border at Beit She'an you within the stream.

Good luck

My planning to travel with a friend in Jordan Wadi zered in the next month.

1. is it true that the better the southern border crossing? (No we intend hiking in Petra)
2. is it true that you can reach with the car until near the gear in order to avoid the cops and save a few miles? (I have an interest in due to a short issue in ft)
3. is there really a security problem as declared in the Foreign Ministry's website I (Incidentally, we have foreign passports if that matters)
4. is there a problem to put on tefillin (maybe it is related with number 1)
5. is this a good time to explore Wadi zered (too cold-floods)
6. do you belong to a trip a little more me 4-8 people (realized could be a problem with cops because it requires manual or loan officer)
7. an estimate of how many days it will take? Or how can I reduce the number of days in port and Israel back? The stream itself just about two days. (I guess I can go long lost on opening border crossings, transportation scheduling, etc.)
8. recommendations opinions?

Thank you!

8. plan to travel in Jordan this spring. Given the non-Israeli Meir thought it best to cancel, without calling on the Foreign Ministry website.

About this season: I think it is better to go in April less cold.

1. is it true that the better the southern border crossing? (No we intend hiking in Petra)
Definitely. In the north aisle doubt let you through. In the South aisle say you travel to Wadi RAM and/or to Petra and bring terrorists

2. is it true that you can reach with the car until near the gear in order to avoid the cops and save a few miles? (I have an interest in due to a short issue in ft)
The last time I was there, the taxi driver dropped us at the beginning of a dirt road going to encounter streams twig and Ofra. But I heard the cops come even postulate there. If you want to play it safe, maybe we should start from the end of the trail and stream.

3. is there really a security problem as declared in the Foreign Ministry's website I (Incidentally, we have foreign passports if that matters)
I returned recently from two weeks in southern Jordan and felt completely safe, hid being Israelis and treated. But obviously there is some risk.

4. is there a problem to put on tefillin (maybe it is related with number 1)
Not
5. is this a good time to explore Wadi zered (too cold-floods)
The water warm, but Rod has the danger of floods on the drainage basin of the twig.
6. do you belong to a trip a little more me 4-8 people (realized could be a problem with cops because it requires manual or loan officer)
It's better to cross the line to four. If you have a large group to split and connect.
7. an estimate of how many days it will take? Or how can I reduce the number of days in port and Israel back? The stream itself just about two days. (I guess I can go long lost on opening border crossings, transportation scheduling, etc.)
The border toward the West, which is near the starting point of the route, and the border back at the end of the second day

8. recommendations opinions?
I think it is better to hold twig to summer or winter, focusing on trekking in the southern regions.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems that after the Jordanian police evasion, if this is the case-a crude mistake to do that, to deal with the Jordanian police for reasons. Really wrong. Law, respect him.

To zvikamr thank you very much for the information!
Regarding access to the gear: found a topographic map and google earth ready someone writes some have access to Forum the chalk, would you say I see that there are officers and therefore it is best to start at the end?

About floods: according to Wikipedia the drainage basin of the twig קמ״ר 2500! (Vs קמ״ר stream class 230), how can I find a reliable source about the likelihood of flooding?

About: according to what I understand why everyone is talking about getting away from the cops is that group 4 people must be accompanied by a police officer or a guide, and save your money so you get away, is this correct? What about other people are also supposed to be a problem?

About Southern tracks that fit the season, what would you recommend?

Don't know about the chalk. About floods-enter the stream only days without any chance of rain.

Twig requires specific directory regardless of group size.

Many options for southern routes more Dana? reserve, an area of Petra, homeima, דלע'ה-Trek rajef, Wadi Rum. Habib's book lists and recommended routes. BTW long trekking enthusiasts can Trek from Dana? to Wadi Rum in three chshboais sequence.

Hi friends. It's not exactly a long track but I skate
I want to travel in Jordan with members. Perhaps Wadi zered.
Anyone have a recommendation? Where to cross the border, where to buy here.
Maybe there is another River more than recommended. Any impressions.
Thanks:)

I'm looking for partners in the South between Jordan-Wadi Rum-Dana leave in the first two weeks of March, or Passover.
Who hesitates, perhaps some pictures (winter) will help tip the balance. Pictures
For proper disclosure exist travel warning of the NSC about Jordan.

Spectacular images!

Can you elaborate a little bit about the administrative components? Do the trails marked? How to water, food, transportation, etc? How friendly or hostile locals?

As far as I know-this trip must be attached an officer/Jordanian peace.

Note that no rescue hut in the area.

If so, that to me-to avoid the attractiveness of a destination place.

Which is a shame, because in the country becomes more and more difficult to find routes with plastic bottles at the beginning innocents and snack wrappers.

Some answers:
Some of the routes marked with Roger and others, there are two or three books that describe routes including better maps. Orientation ability is required.
Accommodation, food on your back (you can stock up on some days), water springs. South Jordan is relatively abundant (wipe) and springs flowing streams easily. Don't usually have to carry water for more than a day.
No public transport on highways, and secondary roads.
The locals are very friendly, very hospitable Bedouin tradition, and I've never seen in any hostility.
Adekunle:
Duty officer manual and applies to groups of five and more.
The extraction, I always purchase travel insurance that includes coverage for finding and extracting (and so far successfully, no need for it).

I must say that since I saw your Jordan galleries (several months ago) plus another destination on the list.
Unfortunately I can't really slammed because of a problem in the leg.

Another friend and I are planning to travel in Jordan. As part of a week. Thought on Wadi zered.
Want to make link or give a suggestion?
We haven't settled anything and keep an open mind for now.

I want to go out in June to Jordan. Followed the sea, diving and some rest. And preferences later combine Wadi zered.
I'd love to.
I would like to receive tips

(Big saves Saturday, then Sunday through Friday and then you can continue in Eilat or end)

Nothing close.

Hello everyone,

Very surprised I didn't find information/summaries on a trip in Wadi zered shelter, and Petra, Jordan in the Forum.
Although it's not a long course but still physically close, available and accessible. Was there a week ago and could do a summary if it is relevant.

Is it by chance or on purpose? (The reference is to the forum administrators, among others)
