I had a similar model, in general I think Salomon don't make good shoes (bought them due to supply and budget in Argentina).
They don't use soles and iberam and their soles tend to erode very quickly.
The model I had low seam (not obvious why they do this, stitch two inches above the sole) opened after a month and a half because half of snow fields in trekking in Patagonia.
I replaced them with a new pair (to their right they give 2 years warranty) a little more well-to-do but like I said, their sole.

However if you plan on Israel, you can save some money and pass on the disease.

Israel

For Israel need not just disease.

See for yourself-km Trek shoe are you going to go? In what conditions? A few days? People buy shoe trek and while not a heavy shoe trek every day.

About trekking-too far for me to start to plan exactly how miles and where. I'm mainly looking for a shoe to fit for trips in the country and can used them.

The money, the shoes of Salomon were relatively cheap (around $ 650, $ 100 in the USA) so save money is not the reason not to buy mteprkot shoes in the middle of a trip is a good reason not to buy.

Audio has the known and trusted companies and ask, old Oslo and the likes, you take what you store.

Another tip, do homework, go to the site and see which fits every requirement.

I recommend Salomon. True, not the durability, but certainly the most comfort to many people. If you go about it. Comfort is always better than "technical" benefits. So hold you shoe years (3-4 instead of 5-6), but enjoy more time since you go with her. What's it worth if you buy shoe with cleats and iberam, Gore-Tex, leather and more "features" that look good inier easy.? Only suffer over time:) until she falls apart

It is important to note that I know at least 8 people at Salomon, and the shoe holds. Once the wax on the shorts and leather stitching follows the iprdviot in sole and paste them (and I don't know that shoe doesn't happen to her after a while!) and generally maintain the shoe it returns. Lock not falling apart. Follow it and see what happens, rather than be surprised halfway through the trip.

I have the above model, I went with them only at about 400 km and don't look like they are going to crumble.

I am pleased, although they are less suitable for difficult trekking, especially sole on.

I recommend the German company Meindle, has several new models in the country.

New Gore-Tex shoe-fits to medium weights Madiera model

Another shoe with Gore-Tex very easy and Super quality (= also happens) Softline Pro model shoe have also good for South Africa.

Model, men who carry heavy weights over long distances-model Railway

Hi there,

After countless shoes audits with dozens of military units in the country. I can recommend for the ASOLO shoes easily, but aggressive HIGHLAND-Gore-Tex fan, weakening fast, reliable, and the sole of a great ibram Just an amazing shoe.

Recommend to achieve gauge.

Ethan.

First of all, thank you everyone for your comments, they really helped.
I decided to forego the shoes of Salomon after reading the company's website they are recommended for short trips (three days).

I went up to Raichle boots (don't remember the model), very comfort and durability, but also hope they won't disappoint-.

-What the company about Salomon Proton? I have to State, the question is whether they're worth it. To country.

- Gore-Tex interferes or is just not needed?
