Hello!

Next week I'm off to two tracks in the mountains: ein Netafim to Black Canyon and mountain stream and waterfalls.

Anyone know/recommend a taxi driver to take us to the beginning of tracks on route 12.

How much should cost drive?

Thank you.

Regarding the price, if you want to head towards Mt hopeless, that sounds like 50-60 shekels (after bargaining). We did pretty much what you describe, it was two years ago.

I don't have any recommendations.

As one who has done a lot to travel for points, the procedure is this: enter the yellow pages site, finding taxis, ring and ask price, once asking by and once asked by price set in advance. Ring the number, not the same station, and drivers not listed on a particular station. Even over the phone were the shmaotim of price differences

The price is $ 50-60. The driver will take you in the morning will bring you shachorth (off).

Another question, is on the road which is obvious sign or symbol to turn lanes? So I know when to get off the taxi.

Mountain Creek and the falls: signpost on the right of the "garage" or "mount yehoram Jehoram, a dirt road you walked right to the beginning.

Besides hard to miss an entire mountain as you see it.

Netafim black and a little more spinach to the West near the "stream culvert" course, going in the opposite direction.

In Netafim as I recall also has a Brown sign "ein Netafim. Anyway if you are coming from and arrival to the IDF's crossing Netafim-a Swan or a border, have to go a mile and a half.

On the second day: Eilat-Netafim border crossing (50), Taba-Eilat (20)

It's a good price, especially as he enters the Black Canyon. Not every taxi driver willing to take on Black Canyon Road.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Agree with יענקל'ה about the price for the ride into Black Canyon/pillars of Amram can even double (who's willing to go).

I talked to him now, and bouncing from Eilat to Black Canyon he wanted $ 240 in taxi (4 travellers) or $ 350 (car five hikers).
Seems a bit expensive to drive 7 miles, but there seems to be no other choice. (?)

Consider the trip to the Mall is on the dirt Lady. It's not a normal trip. 4 people $ 240 is pretty good. Almost no taxi driver not going to shachorth because they have insurance and Victor has

Need to find another driver who will do these then transport prices fell slightly.

The higher price of Victor is for two reasons.

A. vehicle costs have risen considerably since 2009, particularly gas.

In 2009, he went west to Black Canyon Highway 90 if I recall is blue

Today the road is carriageway with fence, so he had to go north to Be'er ora

And return South to shachorth reference.

For 12 km along the road, you're right.

But:

As the continuous fence of the new very even damaged tourist sites in the area.

Travel from Eilat to beer-light, back South, and space travellers and return to Eilat (empty of course).

The distance (measured in Google) approximately47.3 km, approx. 12 km.

The price looks good.

At Hanukkah, we used the services of Victor capzzot to start and end. He gave us great service. He went into an area a few kilometers (about 4 I think) until it started a runway Batsheva River (River Falls) and gathering in the parking lot overnight mount yehoram (off), and a second time bouncing mountain discouraged, and gathering near mount Rehoboam (3 km). I don't remember the prices, but the service is worth every pound.
