Hello Forum members

I plan to go to Israel in early September.
And I'm planning a trip to New Zealand and Iceland in March.

In choosing the equipment that I buy for me considering it to be equipment for a trip abroad later.

I am looking for a backpack.
Backpack to use me for and of course the big trip abroad (be it primarily hiking)

The budget is up to $ 2000

How do I get to search backpack Some recommendations in the budget?

Thank you very much.

2000 NIS is a lot of money for a backpack.

The most important thing is to try and find the bag you're comfortable (with weight).

The other thing, this company produces the bag, there are plenty of good companies, including:
Auspryy, dioter, Gregory and others.

Good friends with Dr. safety, reliability and quality as well.

You shop, try the bag yourself, write down the model and price, return to arinternt and find him some info in the Forum or at all and see what others have said about the experience, so it's best to choose.

With respect to volume, to fit 65 liters or less. If it's abroad, too, might want to buy a bigger one. But note that the weight of the bag would not be too heavy (not more than 2.5 kg)

Besides, there's plenty of advice and tips owikishbil and also in the Forum. Just need to look.

I did some digging on the Web about cases and models
I know a little about what I'm talking about before I get to the store.

The file will have to pass the Bill in New Zealand, Israel, Norway and Sweden/Iceland's foot with half emerged to Greenland. Many have a requirements file

The other models which
The north face primero.
Prophet label
Gregory makalu.
Palisade
Baltoro
-Argon ospray
Xneon
Aether

It's just that I read about on the Internet.
I have no idea if they are sold in the country.

I hope today or in the coming days to stop and shop.
I go back to look after consultation

Thank you very much.

I tried them all. And my PROPHET LABEL. The easiest of all.
But it's ASSAULT. That is a case for attacking and climbing peaks.
So think about whether it's worth the price that can be obrkaolipide to your needs and not sure you should put your money. He gets 1700-1800.
Whether trekking in Scandinavia you go with?

The PRIMERO case. A little heavier.

The gargling and do the job. I think you can find them with a discount because they advance and functional.

I didn't like how the auspreim sitting on my back. Relatively easy. Kind of like the gargling.

I also have the Aether and is really great (for weights of up to 20-25 pounds). Available in 1200.
I believe in New Zealand can rely on 70 liters.
See also the Baltoro although it is six pounds heavier. Aether.

Thanks to all the responders.

So I travel round the ricochet and ...

I tried a few models
Ospray wasn't so they don't measure

The north face primero measured the didn't want not comfortable on his back. The prophet label wasn't. I'd like to try it but here, and other things that I realized he wasn't so ...

Gregory baltoro, palisade, measured triconi
All three were very comfortable on his back.
Only their variable volume 60, 70 litre ו80

Try to search the prophet label measure? Insisting to find ospray to measure?
Or select one of the models I'm losing Gregory won't lose and three very comfortable?

Thank you:-)

The auspryy have at runway.

Don't know where the Prophet. I found it at Fox. They don't keep his amounts because it's not a full case.

I think you better go on auspreim.

Good luck!

There are several shops with over in Throop.
Call importer "the North Star" (can be found on d.co.il) and ask them where there.

Thank you to everyone.

I'm kinda locked on Gregory.

The main dilemma is between 80L case 70L case.
For Israel, trail hiking in New Zealand, Iceland and all vegetables a few liters do I have Assuming that the only case and have another case to leave the hostel or something and of course I do weeks of trekking.

I really liked the palisade and baltoro

Do you think?? =)

And another point. I'd really like to try the Gregory makalu pro but unfortunately wasn't it not ricochet and for coincidence. Tomorrow I'm probably in the area.

Know that you can jump to this model?
Worth to invest in measurements and for the case or settle in baltoro?

Thank you very much.

Adjust the backpack-body there is no point buying a backpack give average body or less than average. If you're short big pod will be taller than you, and you go like a heart-Teresa Walker-we can shrink the waist straps.

Really after much thinking I got idea of 80s

The heart wants 70 and rush says 60

I think eventually I'll go on. So I got to be in places with extreme weather conditions where I have more winter gear and I want to find me a 60 at best and at worst. ... Correct me if I'm wrong.

There will not be a country the makalu, so said the importer.
The great baltoro 70 on Earth which is 1600. 70. the makalu but more professional cost 1400 weight if I bring from abroad.
Worth to try and invest for a case on the page does (should be also identical back system that is supposed to feel great) but never really actually seen or touched my hands.

And a question to imtl
About the Prophet. You can write a few words about your experience? I haven't seen it yet in stores but I would like to insist that each store that I can measure.
On the page and the reviews I've read on the Internet pretty excited him.
Go to the options of Gregory and not to do or to measure. Or can I assume that if I wasn't comfortable primero so the Prophet not to be

I know it's a lot of questions.
I really thank you all

Hey

The Prophet a great portfolio. The point is that it is expensive and you can at that price to buy some things in addition to the case.
This case is more than you need of course at this price.
Like I said, it costs the country something like 1700-1800.

Primero and the Prophet did not sit. But that is not to say that fit you well. You must measure.

I think for what you wrote that you have bought the Prophet then would be unnecessary and that money as I said you can purchase another case that will do you good and some other things as well.
A waste of money.

The Prophet is ASSAULT case. You can read about my experience with this link:
Link

The trip to Iceland was going to be on ice and snow gear level? Or you were just another winter equipment for clothing?

You need to adjust the type of Kenya.

The Israel trail can be done with a simple 45 liters. So I did and I got it. Our case that costs 200 shekels.

The New Zealand and Iceland was going on Gregory because I don't like how haospris sit on my back. And I think apropt expensive and need what you have.
Again, this is if you're talking about standard and technical tour in terms of surface route.

ד"א, I'm in New Zealand late December too. When are you going?
What are you planning?

Wow ... Just wow
Read this whole discussion now and seen all the videos from the Trek in Himalayas. Amazing

The great prophet label in 1600, and functional as the baltoro.
Basically, it's a long story, but a budget case until 2000, and your money if you buy a cheaper bag will not be intended to buy other equipment.
You could say the goal is to buy the best portfolio until 2000, regardless of price.

I have all sorts of targets for future trips.
In my spare time, I love climbing. And I'd like to try climbing frozen waterfalls (I heard it's crazy).
To Iceland from top to bottom which I already plan closer to the exit. To make a sortie Greenland trying to travel there but I need to read up on it a little more (for that I do have heavy winter gear more clothes =]).
And some other small and big dreams on the way to conquering the Everest someday =].

Anyway, this is something very important to me and the budget is no issue
That's why I'm so digging also checks and interest

After your trip in the Himalayas I think I am going to hold you to measure the Prophet before I buy ...

About New Zealand. The principle of planning is to fly there in January, but it depends on how I get on the SAT (test in early July, and now I find it hard to learn because most of the day I spend in front of the computer reading about cases).
Don't have special designs. Have any ideas?

First of all, I'm always happy that there's someone else who's interested in all this.

So if you think your wishes I would tell you that a great apropt it.
I think it is fine for your purposes. And, if you want ice and snow equipment so talk to me before you purchase. I mean the crampons and ice axe and things like that. I dug on the moon before I bought so I might be able to give you some tips and save you.
Although digging for this equipment fun

I bought the my Prophet 800 but like I said I had Fox.

When you isolate the look if it the Prophet M or l. If the M is 65 litres and L is 70. Even though both listed 65 liters.
Regardless it is very important to adjust the bag on your back. Spend hours in the shop until you are satisfied. Even if they try to push you to buy already.

Consider the case that decided him. If you have someone who will give him. Search for discounts online. I got that a lot of my equipment and I've saved thousands of dollars.

Frozen waterfalls requires technical equipment. I guess you call it when you decide to do.

About New Zealand so I'm going to do the following:
Link
With trekking excursions.
Then to the PCT!!!

Good luck with all that,
Eyal

I spoke with travel and asked to bring the Prophet I can measure. Nice girl but said it would take between a week to two weeks. Also ordered the case if M if it doesn't suit me say because, so nice to no longer seek to bring another one if they did anyway L faces at me about it.
There is another store that you know you can go to try the case? Because I really don't want to wait two weeks.

Te Araroa
Wow just what I was looking for.
Do the same with trekking style Milford sorties. Looks like planning my trip to New Zealand at the moment =]
I would love if you include me in your planning and information you have on the trail.

Many thanks for all your help.
