Hey,
Question about a trip in October:
A. from what I understand, the cabins do not work, but they are open as of iwack (nobody but you can sleep inside)?
2 assuming me technical equipment and climbing experience, whether it makes sense to do the track or snowstorms food from morning to night. Overall averages of major shows to be much colder, but only 8 days of precipitation in October instead of 15 September and August.

From experience, I'd be in Dolomites opinions and advice.

I think not. Of course not privacy. Best to call a public rafiog.
To make the track alone in October? Take a tent, food and book of Psalms. Maybe it would be okay.

Sorry for the delay but here are some small tips:
A friend and I were out late July through early August, and it was great.

About the train ride to please STOP the trains-Italy it is necessary to do the VALIDATION. Even if you buy it for a specific train have poke him before boarding a yellow piece paper called Shaw which or print the time and date like that can't be use it twice. Even the conductor didn't tell us and evil because we ran the train missed it and fined 50 euros or drop off the train in the middle (without ticket).
Equipment-wise-I highly recommend (as usual) to take. Dated bags too heavy and it's hard to walk (even slightly aged)-filter filter and filter. Do I take gloves minutes of gym or bike for VIA FERRATA-types in sometimes quite frozen cable loose or drop which is very comfortable (I think).
Also for those who want to take a few meter rope and one normal type buckle then improvise him harness. If you want to climb mramolda for example-it increases confidence etc.
About the mramolda – at least while we were boarding pass receives and the subject — and someone recommended we rented crampons in ripiog ' kstigliveni (I think it is also possible in the rafiog uphill at the end of the cable) and the contrin rafiog back (individual-euro).
We did one long day where we put together daily until rafiog Pisciadu rafiog GENOVA-long but.
I remember tip of my mind (there's a list somewhere ...) is about the start-STOP bus from up to SKIHAUTE-in-friendly budget manual and suggested on the first day if arriving at Verona. There is INFORMATION on the times and STOP with the stop right next to the train station.
There's a big OUTDOOR store in the way STOP with all the equipment you need.

Hey Amnon (and others),
Start thinking about next year and the Alta Via 2.
'M not in love experience: TMB and Walker's Haute Route.
It seems to me that with all the information on the Internet (including here) + number of already-acquired "covered".
I wonder about-desired difficulty compared to Walker's Haute Route.

What do you think?
(Of course others are invited to respond)
Thank you merry!

Amber. I like the way you think חיוך or AV2 the GR20 are required
You have nothing to be concerned about the level of difficulty of AV2. According to impressions, this route stitched for you.
It's a difficult track only if it pulls. over 12 days spread, is very convenient.

By the way, anyone who wants to understand what it really hard gaze trail track AV7
Is only 36 km Ridge, but entire cockscomb and half via ferrate rough degree
It is a joint course the toughest and travelers are advised to do it in less than 5 days.
Rpiogis in no way. Bivi in drinking water is collected from rain. Need a sleeping bag and food.
Compared to this path, everything is a joke.

Thanks Amnon!
I'm not really worried about what-AV2.
But friends are considering to join me. They left the Haute Route, but it was hard for them, they prefer to stay in degree of difficulty.

Right now my plan is to go alone and AV2 AV1 if I go with them.

Sure you won't be disappointed either

Hey Amnon,

First of all thanks a lot for your detailed and informative writing, it does urge and answer most of the questions. Now I know the Forum I promise to upload stories of opportunity through Bulgaria, Georgia and the Pyrenees

My husband and I want to do for the second half of September. I understand from what I read that complicated to do the Trek in a tent (what bothers me mostly is that micro-points along the way), and most close at 20.9 huts. Would love if you could detail the route based on the cabins open this season or refer me to a list containing opening dates. Is it possible to obtain basic cabinas food such as rice, bread, etc.?

Hey Abdul
No problem to do the course in the second half of September. By the end of September has enough open cabins.
Why do you want to do for this tent? Savings or private parties. The date you are planning you will be alone.
Unknown the food to cook myself. Perhaps politics and handla slaughter can take something from them
It already depends on social and political skills. Rpiogis policy is to not sell food to cook myself.
I'm glad someone is finally going to the Alta via 2. Already received the impression that only Alta via 1 interesting people.
If you closed the runway then I would love to find out about rpiogis and hotels open by the end of September.

Hey Amnon,

We like to travel with a tent that allows us the flexibility and opportunity to sleep where and when we want. Especially because we love waking up all alone in the middle of nature. So far we haven't done only in tour ever, but maximum combination of the two. But we are not ruling out the possibility entirely, so we'd love to know what open. By the way, is the Alpine Club membership gives the Israeli guide in or need to get a ticket in Italy? I remember seeing a list in which what was good public and some private cabins, but I can't find it, if you point me to the right place.

From what I understand it is possible to obtain any town about half track, is that correct? I don't want to rely on the good graces and certainly no intention to carry just a tent and eventually sleep in anyway (is next to the cabin in a tent misses the target by me).

The track sounds amazing and challenging from what I read so far I'm just a bit concerned the last part where half the iceberg. Can I do this without equipment and without any previous experience? Is there a way to bypass this part of the track?

Thank you very much,

Efrat

In fact, all the information listed in the Guide track.
It said staging the opening and closing of each rafiog and if it is private or public.
Believe me when I say that I really like to travel with. But in the second half of September to better sleep.
You probably don't realize how little people on this track season so I'm not talking about the end of the season. 14.11.08 route
Don't know who received the impression that there is a way to get in place. There is no supermarket or something similar. What you can buy is minimal.
And the minimum can buy only three points.
There are tracks that don't fit into the tent. This is one of them. In my opinion, of course. Makeup and her husband went it with tent and really enjoyed
They wrote a detailed post on their walk.

I'm beginning to be convinced about the tent. What do you mean "in the track" (I noticed in early 2005 file concatenation, where can I get an updated file?)

I am also happy to answer the question I asked about the last part of the track (you wrote that is dangerous).

Thanks a lot!

The file from 2005 that most official guide has been updated. My experience is good enough. Also the friendly manual from 2005
The glacier in the last part we can easily bypass. It seems pretty simple, so I didn't even bother to override him.
The last part is dangerous in bad weather. For example, in fog or rain. The very name for the narrow chasm.
Reasonable weather should not be a problem. It's great and completely isolated. Wild nature.
I went through most of the opening times. There are quite a few open until September 30.

Hey Amnon,

I went through the list of huts along the way. From what I saw in the second part of the track all the huts are closed on the 20th September, so that we have a serious problem. Added to the list that publishes several chalets, details of closing date and Red check private cabins (but when I upload the file is an empty file).

Do you have any creative ideas? Is there anywhere I can obtain it to these days and sleep in a sleeping bag in the open cabin

I guess you know that public rafiog leaves room open for the winter
The public rpiogis close in terms of services, electricity, food, etc.
But each of them leaves the room with beds for visitors out of season
Now the problem with the southern part only with Boz rafiog closed on 20 September.
But it has a simple solution. Instead of crash do little motel in flanking cute near Lake
Name of the hotel open all year is Albergo Alpino Boz phone: 0439438236

You can see it on the map attached on the right down.

The night before sleeping at Passo Cereda where there are several hotels and restaurants
So basically no problem. You can also swipe food from Paso Lacerda and sleep in Boz in the open.
The next day from ending the track so there is no problem.

The updated list of rpiogis send me (lengy@bezeqint.net) and I get her

What you need to do is to build first walking program regardless of the opening and closing times of the
Make an outline of the track like everything open and you in season
After the Division we find alternative options to any problem. There are alternatives for rafiog close

Hey Amnon,

Thanks for any help. At the end of the early flight to 11.9 so hopefully everything will work out. Our flight arrives at 11:45 am and the last train from Verona who we go up to the cable car departs at 1:50 pm. We need a way to jump to leave with things, so it's getting a little nervous. Do I need to book the train tickets in advance?

If we don't reach the cable car on the day of flight do you reckon it is possible to then get to do today plose and finish on Genova?

Thank you

Efrat
