Arthur about the maps refers to the quality of the material from which it is made,
It is better to buy one of noilant or more durable material.
The map I got completely dissolved and used her total.

Good information center that includes all maps that have bled and have bolts.

Regarding the images, each weighing some 5 MB,
I don't think I can make it to 500 kilobyte.

Is reasonable to assume that you can buy topographic maps in Ljubljana or Maribor?

Well I get there and figure it out as always.
The plan is to cross the whole country for one that takes months.

The path exceeds the Triglav then continues should be an interesting day. Arthur 41125.8455324074

Fun to remember.
If it's any consolation-insisted to go to the Summit despite the weather-I frozen cable all the way up and didn't see the Summit beyond the force nerglis. Sometimes it's better to go with the feeling.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to know if you think it's possible to travel from Slovenia teriglab on September 28th, 10 days and end in the first week of October.
But I am looking for a short mountain hike of 6 days around Europe and teriglab.

I am aware that in the off-season, just this is the only time I have.

Thank you very much,

Tom.

Hi there,

I also traveled in late September, and as you can see the pictures, I had idaili weather. The point is that bshlosha days before Slovenia experienced the Trek the strongest storm in 30 years (flooding, blocked roads etc.).

So if you're very limited in time, it's a gamble. It is impossible to predict exactly what the weather in the mountains (mrwise gave up the ascent to the Summit following the gloomy forecast, which in July).
Recommend taking a few days before and after security that allow you flexibility in track (or waiting a few days).

Have fun! Amnonl 41543.5089351852

If you ignore the sudden storms and the weather is reasonable average travel in late September-early October

Edit: what I'm planning to take in the field of wear is like this:
1. thermal clothing
2. relatively thick brass with a medium layer polertec
3. ardshl rain and wind.

Probably add hot neck and a balaclava fleece

Don't take pants or a jacket for cold conditions.
Not taking rain pants.

What do you say? Arthur 41132.7883217593

It is certainly possible to explore, but as HarmonicWave said, you should be aware that there is a good chance that your design changes due to weather.

I would recommend getting to Slovenia with general planning before slammed into one of the teriglab reserve and sit there with the receptionist she has a listing of temporary weather walk, all data in the object, but it also can get you anywhere in there and you can buy map and/or number.

Hope you enjoy, and feel free to ask questions.

Arthur,

Hard to say about fashion because I have no experience in these periods, I can only say that I'm going in September just a month more or less the same as your equipment in terms of heat retention, with a Cape.

I have a very limited time window, the question is whether to risk travelling in Slovenia, if I wet landing at Ljubljana, how long does it take to get to the Park, because I don't know if I have a safety margin.

Thank you.

From Ljubljana takes a direct bus about an hour and forty blank common to the beginning (Stara potina), without switching in Bled for information (recommended!).

To herself whether to travel there, I don't know, maybe look for warmer area with fewer rainy days.

Also travelled in Montenegro this time (Durmitor reserve) in the mountains can be rainy, fairly similar to Slovenia.

I traveled there last year in mid-August, if I remember correctly, and it was incredible weather!

There was no snow almost (except near the top, I think at a height of 2500)

Dated from FUNIZA track 4 round trip, on the way back around the Lakes (about 60 km in 2 days-the first day resulted in the largest cabin below the top). It's difficult days and recommended for some who high tv.

_ But _, can reduce a significant route to do it.

Another recommendation is to start the higher point (I can't remember the name, but something a little plain North of STARA FUNIZA), has a lot of families, groups, and even older people who go away almost to the Summit as a track daily!

Total Trek highly recommended
