Another little extra if possible.

In short you feel it for a vacation or trip.

For this procedure, already long life.

Thanks for all the RAM available.

I agree that the challenge is more mental than physical, and why we're interested in doing a course is out of the ordinary and live a reality without an exact planning of the day after.

Physical fear stems inter alia from medical problems that can break me early: knee problems, a tendency to hip joint infections, acute anemia, etc. Whatever, begin to address as many issues as soon as possible!

Actually, I played a little with the site Craig's PCT Planning Program, and saw the pace of about 3 mph for eight hours a day, each track takes about 6.5 months hence at a walking pace of about 25 km a day (as opposed to 25 miles per day) can finish the course.

Anyway, after a little talk and thoughts, we decided that it was probably going to take a year off, and here we have enough time for the PCT and other things (possibly even a short round in Nepal). Greece and most of the trip is hiking and trekking there will be no budget limit.

Isn't it full of jealousy?

Then begin to get serious business-equipment. We have quite a bit of gear. We intend definitely to upgrade those files, we have soft mattresses and clothing.

I saw that people write that they buy everything in KO. This also applies to the case? It is not problematic to leave something so intrinsic to the last minute?

About Kobe right now we both have that TNF's ALEUTIAN model. Is it considered heavy? Need something hot? I'm pretty sensitive to cold.

6.5 months is a long time than the PCT. What a start date? If you start to have a kickoff a difficult problem in the Cascades in Washington at this rate. Trust me you do not stay at this rate. Keep a list of your current equipment includes the weight of everything so we can express an opinion on the equipment.
Reach USA and go to REI and buy there. Don't buy anything!

There is a heavy keyboard and lighter under the current temperatures. Don't need something hot to PCT.

My intention wasn't to go really 6.5 months. It's clear to me that our akushr will get better and go. There was a moment that seemed to me that we can't finish a year.

Anyway I appreciate you start before the KO-as you can see, I'm not really afraid to come too soon for Sierra.

About the bag, it is clear to me that lighter and heavier. The question is whether we should consider buying something easier.

I'll try to make the list-but I don't have the weights of each item (I have to do it later).

Arrive early to Sierra snow. and navigation. I think it can be done if you have the experience, ability and determination. The snow was not insane amounts altogether disappeared after the summer. Yet people including me have passed without waiting to thaw snow. Start slowly and turn under the will. More critical to end before October.

I think you should buy shcsh. Consider QUILT.

What happens in October? If you start in the middle of April I haven't got back to finish in October.

Trouble with lists. Like I said before, I can't find the list of weights I made last year and not in our House so I can't consider.

I thought I could find in the Internet the items with their specifications, but it's tricky because a lot of things already so old.

I'm going to focus on the major items:

Sample squal2 Tarptent tent weighs approximately 965gr

The TNF's Aleutian model weighs about 1545gr

Leki walking poles? can't remember exact model, but the weight isn't really important.

Petzl headlamp Tikka xp model's head, ninety-five grams including batteries

Asolo hiking boots Gore tex Voyager weighs approximately 510gr each shoe.

Thermal shirt long 236gr weighs about Marmot

Marmot short sleeve shirt

Columbia trousers

Bridgedale socks + Thorlo (I have 4 pairs of slightly different types)

Barmah leather hats

Oalia (homemade) as

'Re letting her in

Small aluminum pot

Aluminium cups

..

It's ridiculous when you don't know the model or weight so I stopped here.

In October and already mid-September weather changes and receive rain and even snow amounts and more. I think if possible it is better to go to Washington early to mid/late August.

When you then get her equipment list. Meanwhile, the aluminum cups I'd leave home:)

Look at other equipment lists to get ideas. Raise if it helps you.

Good luck

I would love if you could increase your equipment list.

I have lists of equipment in terms of what kind of previous tours, coherent, but I don't have any designs and weights of each item. In the TMB went with about 12 kg each including food (by weighing an airport) and all sorts of things I wanted not to take, but my friend insisted that the files will be even easier.

What's wrong with aluminum glasses? Both ease and comfort for hot drinks or soup.

Thanks for the list.

However, the dilemma is the amount of change of clothes-one set is sufficient to Exchange or 2.

And of course if I forgot to relevant PCT items so I'd love to hear. I understand that it takes some special case because the bears?! Can someone explain what exactly ...

The problem is that chshshmim aluminum cups where hot drinks are warming and can't drink them without burning the lips. In truth, I never understood that.
About a change of clothes is a matter of personal preference, what you and others can trip. I take one example, and Omar takes two +. I laugh that he carry nonsense, and he laughs at me I stink. In this context, the need to remember the difference between short trails that allow for very long and you have to make adjustments. Plan the best possible, but once you go see what works and what doesn't and downloads/add/change accordingly.
If you can come back and join the walk rate matters fits-don't have to arrive 30-40 miles of strapping guys here, but there's really nothing to worry about. For Alpine, if I did 10 km a day, I feel like a hero, but PCT on the first week I did 20-25 mph. You can't plan for European routes, the route is completely different, and so the culture walk (as if available hint that I would find time to shnutz even in the Appalachian mountains). In short – this is the last thing to worry about.

There is also my list from PCT 2009.

Most people get enough one set of clothes. It doesn't matter so much if you start that 100% of people just download and download things, so there's nothing to worry about. Pretty easy start in terms of equipment required and you're only a see what you need and what not.

About bears-Rai container list. Bearvault

What's more? In my opinion:

Thin string
I didn't take batteries spierim. Lithium sticks have
Weight and work full time.
Combs
Little shampoo
Oily moisturizer

Anti allergic
A muscle pain and inflammation of tendons
Elastic bandage
Band-AIDS
Cotton (PADS)
Tweezers
Nylon thread
2 safety pins
Cups (X 2)
Matches.
Little Scotch
Water purification-thermim from Israel

Trash bags-make anything that put food inside a trash bag

Phone + charger-I personally don't take cell phones for long routes. At least put in your bavens box because there's no reason to carry it all the time.

Documents and money + belt-the documents and money in a simple and siplock. This belt.

Don't recommend TRAIL RUNNERS, but the overwhelming majority on the PCT disagree with me.

Stocking enough 2. Underwear enough? 2. Go with one and wash and hang on your case.

About the tank to bears. I found a canister approved by national parks in the Sierra that is small and more BEAR VAULT. I find the link and blame him. The goal is not to get a penalty. Don't stop the bears.

About cups-aluminum used them in the past and there were no problems-consider replacing plastic glasses.

Ladybug :

Thanks for the comment on the topic ... By the way I'm joining the strengthening shnch culture.

Ido :

Once the hair longer 5 cm if I don't take a comb, so I have to do a clearing at the end of the trip.

This shampoo is the only SOAP I-you do bathe once or twice during half a year, no?

Cancel all first and second. How do you treat or even more importantly avoids all sorts of blisters, etc. I personally have nothing against inflammation of the tendons that have the tendency to inflammation and the best way is to handle immediately how that or I will have to retire. My friend has a tendency to be allergic to many things, let alone new and familiar surroundings and therefore anti-allergic is required in his case. What about a needle and thread to repair in the event that ripped pants in half or something in a tent (take time until you get to the point of purchase)?

About I start walking shoes with my pair of ASOLO and the change to something easier, but to strengthen the ankle I'm going for sure.

Eyal:

Have access to a payphone in communities that come to them? How have you contacted?

About the container bears-I didn't realise, there are different types. You can rely on to buy one before entering the appropriate reserve or should I worry about that? There are a few different areas that require containers?

Additional questions:

I've seen other things, including equipment list-how? Crampons, ice axe, spats over the shoe to protect the entrance of water.

Do you go with that lock in Sierra left in the desert? What about clothing? I saw this video that someone took them there ice on silver reptile print.

Consider getting rid of some altogether because we simply don't need. Use the same things for different purposes. Like this save weight.

-SOAP. Shower soaps and there are towns. During the hike and streams themselves really need SOAP, because it isn't. Personal I guess.

Have access to public telephones all over town including noncritical because once you have calling card so you can ask for anywhere to call because it doesn't cost them anything. Friendly people too. I contacted the country mainly public libraries in almost every town has even the smallest. I don't feel the need to talk to the country every other day so that once again it is personal.

You need a tank against the bears (I think it's against the Rangers) from the entrance to the Sierra Nevada it was Canadian they here. To Yosemite this port.

You know how to use crampons and ice axe? Crampons are more completely. If you know how to walk on snow so the ice axe. And this year when I went was a very difficult year. (At least that's what the Statistics say. And the company)

Giiters good for Sierra. Giiters. outside snow. Unnecessary in my opinion.
People love to complain and tell stories about their life. It's called ego. I wasn't referring to oidaoas and all kinds of atrocities that people ג'ורנלס a trail that every year on the PCT is completely different.

An ointment to prevent washboard, ointment for the treatment of rubbing, lotion, there must be more to the Forum list.

Water filter pump name canoe, take a purification Kit. Wasting traffic although not recommended that materials to be used for a long time, speaking order Aqua country.

What is a brass? Take thermal tights.

Agree with Ma about the balls against giardia. Taken from the Earth. About other first aid-very personal so take what suits you.
About communication with the land I bought there SIM card (number) and called him a number of times telephone card (Nobel), and country. So I could use the phone for calls within the U.S., and return the SIM SMS to sea when Israeli (though it happened only once a week). There are all kinds of options, for example http://www.getpeek.com/.

Always have SMS and towns interact with tlkerd, who had the cheapest mobile for That's part of it, when I went in, people reacted with stiff Appalachian relief mobile phone ringing on the trail or in "hostel, there's something here, to disconnect.

About cups-substitute? It is impossible to drink hot drinks straight from the pot, and a plastic bottle was destroyed from the heat.

In case I wasn't clear, small shampoo was a sample size hotels. It is impossible to live only with alcohol gel and sometimes need a little sin.

Crampons and ice axe fell.

About water purification-filter enough against various biological factors (bacteria or viruses)?

About first aid – Ma suggested very close to what I'm lchltchila. How diseases such as giardia and Lyme ticks are common on the track? Is it just a security measure (without depriving take this course) or appears in a lot of travelling?

And while health-vaccines should make before leaving the country?

Regarding the "tank bears"-according to the description of Elk I understand you can buy him a moment before entering, and get rid of it in Bridgeport?

On the issue of Justice for all phones. I actually prefer to travel without ... But sometimes the family stress too hard (my partner's parents call him usually 5 times a day) we need to work on that, and then hopefully we do not take phone Anyway about SMS once or twice a day and the rest of the time he will be off.
