Hello again friends,

Since the last thread I didn't find any of models and can't find the sellers, in the next month or two.

And following the worship of some members of the terptant Forum and pressure of Ma (I Bet Shean first enter an ad with title like that), I decided to go with their tents.
Only I was lost with the models, so I say what I'm better and I can cut my options:

Tent for one person + 75 liter backpack inside the tent in balance but not annoying
Rain resistance (I realize that models the rain?)
I'm not going with canes so that no tent should be based.
Preference will be given to the private tent (might help a bit against theft)
Do I need to lock on the
Bathtub?
(Sounds like an effective protection against rain young streams)

I must say that I run quell'ammirazione shock of your tents, they seem to me quite a wind and rain. Quite safe.
If I understand it correctly, the construction affects how much space will be exposed?

What about
Groundsheet
The Negev? Do you need?
What exactly is it? Just put a cloth sheet under the tent?

Thank you.

Terptant-are you talking about skoolle? Fits perfectly with 75 liters.

Take with every move – and one floor, front and rear BEAK, even asking him sealing stitches worth. Rain resistance after sealing = excellent. I see that it included detachable connection of the ground to the top, sounds great, interesting to see how it works, my model No.

I use a walking stick because its original titanium Rod quite light and thin, and I think you can use both rods at the front, check good about rods. Under his picture if you use original shaft will be limited to solid height tent which is a downside. The walk enables lifting and sitting even inside the tent.

True, the establishment determines how air enter between the floor and the top (contained) in the rain off the top sheet to the ground, and standard leaves as needed so in air side rather than being manufactured condensation. It's a game with pegs and string connection.

Another curtain, used just kept where I set up the tent and cleaned of stones and branches.  Well, not bad. Another curtain, consider tiiock very easy. He asks for an extra $ 12, relatively little,.

I don't know if I'm talking about the Squal.
Sorry if I wasn't clear, but here's the problem. I don't know which model to follow and I ask for ... Please advise.
The Squal
Is even?
I am looking for one + and should not pod, sat near the opening. Not a double room.

I got about sealing the seams and flap.

Overall, if you are looking for one man terptant two main models: the MOMENT and CONTRAIL

Here is a long discussion of torque:

Http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/forums/forum_thread_id? thread_display.html = 22575

This guy has a lot of videos on two tents:

The ALE has the CONTRAIL (I like to SUBLITE require walking sticks so they less relevant for you), maybe he can contribute to the discussion. HarmonicWave 40504.6641203704

You have to remember that the difference in weight between this model is tens of grams. Don't panic space tent.

In the last year has a pretty big selection of tarptantim.
I bought the Rainbow only (old model). It's great and can be set up with pegs or rods. I'm very happy with it. Is comfortable, a little long, but narrow. After sealing is resistant to rain, you can sit in the middle and though I am relatively Tall legs not touching the edge.
No walking sticks, namely with pegs alone, I think the ground in Israel except for the pegs and should convince them to enter.

And weight 900 g-tent only.

I have the סקוול2 that is, and we sleep with the equipment inside.

Regarding the issue of walking poles-easy method that saves a lot of profanity that way too.

I wouldn't use the original shafts-much less stable. If you are not using a cane, so those models less effective. Perhaps choose something is based.

Select Model 3 + seasons and get good durability in virtually any weather trips (of course after Silicon sealant).

Are you relatively high? If you don't, you can get into the tent with the case. If you're tall, I was considering to buy a tent for two, for a relatively small weight loss supplement, so you have room inside the case.

Interesting case relevant place especially during rain. On the one hand need to be in the tent so you don't get wet. On the other hand, if crowded, so the lower bathroom crashes that something then leaned all the effect is lost.

Like the Moment. Effective, simple and beautiful.
For 200 grams seems worth to go for the Free-standing.
I already read some disappointing reviews on stakes that come with the Tarptent. Although I was in basic training in the winter. Sticking with your hands it's not frozen pegs pleasure if you can avoid it!.
Anyone tried this tent? What is a pod? I understand that backpack sitting against the side entrance Or maybe he has some room at the top
Some crowded with Backpack? There is a risk of collapse?
I think my height is around the 1.8 m.

About the Groundsheet: experience one of the Tarptent models in the Negev without him?

The stakes of titanium, the problem mainly with them is in the country or place of hard and rocky soil, so the cords connected to the stone. The Appalachian Trail was a problem on the ground.

I think you're looking for other people? One does not know and not know about congestion inside.

Well, in fairness I hike alone.

Don't know/particularly interested in tracks from abroad but I haplch Kurtz. Seems a bit challenging to get it like that in mid-life. This Trek 7 months or something like that?

In the previous post I was looking for a tent, really. The reason is that stores in the country have not seen a single person tents and therefore I didn't even know about existence (Yes, pure innocence:)).
Now I know there is a lone tent, that changes things.

With my sleep TARPTENT also tours in Israel and thousands without groundsheet.

Just look at where the tent.

The stakes-the stakes changed to others who can bend to fit between rocks and stuff. If you can't get to the ground, linked to stone.

In General, all of the tent is very fast and easy.

If you go for tents are built instead TARP you pay for it mostly weight because it requires a framework.

If I may ask, what kind of tours do you plan for the tent? Mention 75 litre bag and walking sticks. This is a trekking? A Hotchkiss? The Mission of the tent affecting the selection.

Slept with him in the desert (or other area with similar ground)?

Of course you can ask, but I don't see how the trip affects character (except perhaps weight) and unfinished about the differences in the terms you mentioned so I will try to answer:
In general the tent is designed only in the Israel National Trail (INT) in February – in Hermon, but this time I believe I have it even in the desert.
So far I traveled almost always without tent (the stars and the nature around so much better) and the weather isn't always. I guess when the tent waterproof rain horizons are expanded.
Big except for Israel, I take all the equipment on his back for a few days at most and go on foot a lot. Hope that answers your question, if not, try to target the deeper question so I can answer is practical.

BTW did I mention that 75 file maximum size. I didn't really get to utilize all contents although I guess got to Israel for the big tent.
It looks now there is a chance that by February of the Negev, Israel gets all drunk and desert tent.

Better for tent-more room for equipment, more places to sleep, relax, sit up straight, and most importantly a place for sparring, not always go alone and sometimes be with you partner or spouse without a tent and then open your heart and great ohalch will be a shelter and the world will thank you. Don't know Ma ... In the case you described maximum comfortable mattress I earn more than platib
Take a moment to understand then. Just)
And if it takes more than a minute so the person used as a mattress.
I think Henry shayer to find comfort in Mr Baggins.
Libby still?

Speaking of attention and some philosophical discussion. Interestingly, MA, if people don't know you from your chosen logo in the Forum and the wings of an Angel ... Have you checked?
Or even have imagination and connection between the two cases? Guy_ziv 40505.5751273148

I can also recommend the rainbow 1, even though I really enjoyed the free option, his standing with ease.
Good, even though I checked it in storms or snow yet. Provides privacy, and on the back.

I have a rainbow.
Sometimes I think I had better Rainbow. There's more space to throw the bag and all the objects that are off the network, inside the tent and no big difference in grams.
I usually sleep with bag/DataSource terrace because I love some space inside and I also ...

If you've been thinking about the Rainbow on your zogitz the difference in weight is small comfort.
