Looking for a tent for close to Finland (also include your Lapland) in October. Basically flying alone but rather a tent for 2. What is important to be as easy as possible, up to 1.7 kg (includes everything).
Anybody have suggestions?

Welcome to the site. If that's okay with you answering your questions.

You need to decide if you're alone without partners join then go on the pristanding or monterle take skoolle if the situation changes. There is a big difference in weight and price. Personal decision eventually.

Contrail looked and seems really small. I think I prefer a tent for 2. There is no reason to prefer the squall on the double rainbow? The double rainbow is listed as "freestanding"

The truth is that even the rainbow seems a reasonable size

The truth-the new models don't sell so well, everything looks great, wait to see others ' reactions to look for reviews on pooram or Google http://www.backpackgeartest.org/tarptent/

(E) the Rainbow will do you in. I realized that his new model will do no doubles too bad (the old model was a little narrower).

I have a rainbow and I've never had in other tents.
I love the Rainbow! Is a great tent. 200 g double weighs more and has two entrances and is slightly more spacious.
There is no reason not to buy the double looking tent easy and good.

Just one thing, there are places where the stakes cannot be driven (dams very hard) then this situation should have sticks and some string thick rubber reinforcement.
