8.

Solitary journey on WHR from CHAMPEX to ZERMATT in 9.5 days.
23/8 figured in Milan and Aosta Valley by 3 buses in Italy to CHAMPEX ORSIERES next and started walking and evening to LE CHABLE in B & B for yearly rental (EUR 45)
24/8 because there was rain forecast, I decided to come up to the MONT FORT gondola. On the way from the hostel was still bright and so I went with the cable car before the hostel MONT FORT mountain altitude 3300 m and an excellent name, see the Matterhorn monblan and I
To 2900 m and from there continued on foot to MONT FORT CAB arrived around 1:00 p.m. and then it rained until the controller.
On the MONT FORT

25/8 Cabane du Mont Fort – Cab du Prafleuri today was all challenging days. We at best not go through FROM TERMIN STATION COL therefore went through the COL DU CHAUX road short today began already looked pretty but the clouds below

And when I got to the COL are the clouds and mist, and after an hour it was snowing for 4 hours. The snow was a good show was a little better, since a large portion of the trail was glacial boulders or (short) the leveling was large and therefore was walking slower and cautious.
Crossed COL COL DU LOUVIE PRAFLEURI followed that which some serious ups and downs that any transitions thought that the COL.

Walking on a glacier

In the middle of dinner at Cabane du Prafleuri arrived and his gang after gone through long, hard day certainly was fun to meet them.
26/8-Cabane du Prafleuri AROLLA started early in the morning and the weather was good on her brief to COL DES ROUX

And Lake DES DIX and the scales of CHEVRES, followed by a long descent to the areola. On the way there is a memorial to the old CAB DES DIX 1908 until 1928

27/8-AROLLA LE SAGE after Nice hotel good night (good bathrooms, etc.)
View from the hotel to the Valley is covered in clouds until I went around 10 are gone.

A day of "rest" walk moderate along the Valley that ends in slight much tiny villages and pastoral views typical Swiss.
28/8 LE SAGE-GRIMENTZ with a mistake that ends well.
When my way I went early to the COL DE TSATE direction
The warriors a COL

I went towards the CAB when I got downstairs DE MOIRY had two possibilities to get to the hostel I chose to follow the path which needs to go through to reach the glacier DE MOIRY CAB I went up to a height of about 2990 m as Moses saw the CAB across the glacier and couldn't get to him because I was alone and without any equipment suitable for walking on the glacier which seems quite fractured.

Repeated tracks down to MOIRY Lake and went along to the restaurant near the dam and found out that Chalet du Barrage packed. I took a bus and slept at night in GRIMENTZ village nice and interesting.
29/8-ZINAL GRIMENTZ returned to Lake MOIRY dam

I went in not hard to COL DE SOREBOIS and lost the territory to the town of ZINAL (recommended to descend by cable car)
30/8-ZINAL GRUBEN again not too hard and the COL and Nahal FORCLETTA with a beautiful view to a nice little town where the language changes GRUBEN from French to German. In one room only hotel Schwarzhorn sink in a bathroom and showers per floor. The opportunity to do my laundry.

.
31/8-ST NIKLAOS GRUBEN today on her last Augstbordpass to COL. again (in my opinion) beautiful way what discounts to COL sign that says turn right towards JUNGEN then begins through boulders and small glaciers and climbs up to a paved scenic route over the MATTERTAL Valley and after a long walk on boulders suddenly see. The durations to descend toward and then down the JUNGEN funicular to ST NIKLAOS
ST-ZERNATT NIKLAOS 1/9 last day walking from lack of time to go through the MATTERTAL Valley to ZERMATT went later and walked calmly along the river the railway and the road once closer and farther just close to the Matterhorn ZERMATT suddenly see that you actually go.
Group a Australia erupted in song as soon as I saw the Matterhorn

And here he is in himself above the roofs of ZERMATT

2/I controller cable 9 Matterhorn view 3883 m little wonderful views on the other approximately 38 oranim features the best of the Matterhorn is recommended despite the price (99 francs) at noon onto the train on my way to Milan for the flight home.
In summary: I had the perfect pleasure pretty challenging Trek spectacular views and a chance to meet interesting people from all over the world.
Thanks to all the writers and especially to Amber who printed my own post as a guide.
Ellie and me Serge thought to have along when I went on the road and I got it filled with admiration for your performance in the snow that was in early July.
Some tips
Despite the cold, I think there is no need for more than one thermal shirt + thin coat
And above storm when you go in and 4מעלות night at the Inn and there are nice and warm.
I learned from experience that walking on boulders and safer walking without sticks
From my experience in falling down, although it is not better to wrap the straps around the wrist sticks
On the flight from Israel to take my backpack with the clubs on board. Checked it with security personnel in the field, and all have confirmed that there is no problem and got on the plane with the sticks. On the flight back because it depends on your local security personnel have a clear answer so I sent my bag into the belly of the plane. You can ask to send my backpack in a bathtub and then was sent to the aircraft belly pod in grueling and there is concern that cracks or fan the strips.
To go have fun and good luck. The trip is a 41523.9425231482.

Small correction about hotels in Groban. There are two hotels.
The shoorathorn is the largest but we chose small rural Hotel Waldesruh

Thanks, for the pictures and the story, not much less time and especially since only one minute walk.

Amazing Trek, I did the same in early August this year, leaves the total 9.5 days from La tour to zermatt.
No problem opening a tent almost anywhere (what europahat), one night at the Inn istini in gruben ().
Don't miss the Schwarzhorn prototype he was part of St. niklaus gruben, arriving to augstbordpass take a left and go up to the mountain top (Bill רוג'ומים).
