Hello friends.
After we bought some parts still shst crowded the couple like us we have to break up with him. The set is a great set to have single or double traveler willing to eat a little less hot. Includes a pair of pots and large pot cover that functions as the pan.
The entire set weighs 200 grams.
Big pot 768 size m l
The small 532 ML pot
The lid/skillet 414 ml
In addition we're letting her in the set include titanium bought separately as well of Snow Peak and weighs 17 grams.

Use the thread to ask:

What are the benefits of titanium compared to other pots pots?

I mean, the obvious advantage is weight savings (although you can find the many aluminum pots heavier). But beyond that:

What are titanium pots in terms of going (relative to aluminium, for example)?
Does titanium pots health benefit or something (again, in relation to aluminum)?

And while we're at it-titanium pots are easier to clean compared to other pots

Although I can find general answers online but more interested to know how significant the things cooking.

(Considering upgrade my crumbling aluminum titanium set d). Ninelives99 40954.8383101852

Actually, Titanium is an element heavier than aluminum, if I remember correctly. And leads. But his strength-weight ratio much better than aluminum, so you can use the sides-much more. Total titanium pot, good quality is fine.

Beyond that:
The nature of aluminum are mostly legends; This rule out too.

The benefits of titanium pots, are mainly:
1. weight,
2. strength. Strength. Strength. All my aluminum pots have dents, scrapes, bent, and so on. The titanium? Any good.
3. easy cleaning. Titanium is much easier to clean than aluminum (uncoated), and in non-coated aluminum ensures that it will be quite difficult to clean it completely.
The downside?
Price, of course.

What about cooking food (rice, pasta) with titanium pots-satisfactory? (Read too much of people online who say they simply prefer aluminum and cooking. Leave only for titanium boiling water) I understand it any matter and heat dissipation but how the matter really matters and how really see the difference in terms of cooking times?
(I'm totally going to take a test if I buy rice cooking in the titanium)

After cooking in titanium:
The temperature is very good and should be careful not to burn the food, my first time with a burned pot soup (!) high flames that not good scattered titanium heat and left its points. This, plus lack of mixing for a few seconds to set the mark. It happened to my brother for the first time with the pot.
Cooking rice and pasta without any problem. Just mix much help to draw heat.

Just to be clear. What a burn mark?
When shrokantam saw Pan burned in points?

And if so-how to Cook rice with lid closed (along most of the cooking time) or because of anything that would be without supervision?

About Knorr soup ready. Pollination sank a little and sat on the bottom, not enough airbeno and the blowtorch was on fire.
After a few seconds smelled burnt and after everything we had repaid the burned batter from the bottom.
About rice-experience with "real" only Knorr rice bag, there was need to stir constantly while boiling, you could keep the pot covered after a small fire going simmers

OK ... Then you just need to learn the vagaries of the pot.
I guess it's not so bad in the end. Thanks for the tip.

Yes, it is very easy and very convenient when you learn to manipulate.

I'm debating whether to order the pot of a titanium snowpeak 900 or 1400.

The pot is intended. What do you say?

We bought a larger set of 750 ml litre + 1. enough for us all what we need (rice, pasta, soup, tea, ...)
I think 900 ml some borderline but I don't recall Milan the pot of gallon all the way except for once we cooked pasta 3 people then anyway we find out that God is that three hungry anyway. GibsonLP 40956.9742361111

Not heat handle problem encountered, so it doesn't really matter.
And no, we don't sell the gallon;)
Besides the 750cc still useful-it's the perfect size for a single traveler, and we use it if one of us went for a walk alone. Definitely not a waste.
We prefer that our individual pots because of the relatively high 900 and 1400, and relatively flat. More comfortable.

Cool links! I've got my eye on the evernew (loved this pasta the drainage holes). As for the second link, I think the price is low simply because it's the product of some company and a leader in the domain name).

Basically I think Gibson. More comfortable to use a larger pot. If you do not find shall take one of the two links.
