There's quite a detailed explanation about the maps covering the area:

You can buy them in Chamonix Mont-Blanc in the bookstores by the numbers.

Thank you for your message and a link.

I think we haven't done the House before we buy them in Chamonix.
Wonderful day

Thanks for the link warham.

Can someone explain in a simple way what is the difference between maps component to VGA or HDMI to standard maps?

That is both 1:50,000 but a component to VGA or HDMI 2 maps cover an area of 5 maps, why?

[QUOTE = mrwise] thanks for warham.

I saw two types of these maps in a store in Chamonix Mont-Blanc.
The COMPOSITE maps physically bigger (open for more physical space) and 2 cover the same area of 5 smaller maps at the same resolution but then heavier and more convoluted. As these maps site are highlighted in particular the large compared to HIKING maps. And if I remember correctly these maps from the noiilanot compared to the set of 5.
However, these maps contain a greater number of useful information and therefore are called COMPOSITE than topographic maps. Warham 41147.6868518519
