--Warning: the following discussion is not designed for ultra-Lite devotees.

I decided to buy a tripod to use me to shoot in.

I am looking for a tripod (less than 1 kg) to a height of four feet long (preferably more, of course), preferably with a head has separate axes (pellets) and can carry a weight of over pounds (Canon t2i canon 18-135 lens). Folded length-a short as possible, price-up to $ 300.

Most are found in the following Rack that meet my requirements:

Slik Compact II comes to Earth 120 NIS

Cullmann Nanomax 220 that comes to Earth 290 shekels

Cullmann Alpha 1500, not found in the country but abroad its rates similar to those of the Slik.

The Slik at first seemed successful choice but her head seems to at least 2 quality spindles only, without a fast connection.

I am inclined to Nanomax, mainly because the head and bearing capacity, although the price is at the upper limit of the budget and relatively large weight.

The Alpha when not found in the country, with foreign shipping is already coming to the price of the Nanomax, ranked above plus the reviews on it less.

Anyone know the rack? Anyone have another suggestion for me (not Chinese tripod $ 15 eBay)? I haven't seen insights too about the cut I got ...

Unfortunately I can't help here, I only went out first with my SLR for a Friday-Saturday. (Would love a chance to hear how you carry your trip SLR)

Can I ask a friend photographer try to return with him to insights about cut

Good question ... I answered you here you have another idea?

About the tripod-I'd love to hear your insights.

My problem with professional photographers is the priorities they prefer heavy and stable tripod-all the tips I found were on the rack weighs more than a pound.

Then you have the answer in terms of what's right for you: the most suitable NANOMAX.

Sassy question:
Why do you need such a big tripod.

I was considering with adapter onopod for walking stick (quite a bit. Weighs probably several grams

And if you really need so very short tripod for those cases you want to shoot yourself or at night. Can't see why need a tripod above m% ל99-onopod will do.

The tripod I have four types of photo-panorama, macro keys lighting conditions (dusk/night) and HDR, capture yourself, but that's not carrying a tripod that weighs nearly three pounds.

Onopod is just not stable enough and short tripod fit only partially to macro photography.

Tripod this tripod foot relatively easy, she's not really (need to bend, RIP his knee to be used), but it's a compromise I'm willing to take because the weight limit.

I guess I didn't carry the tripod for the trip, but at least daily tours or sightseeing in the cities I believe she will serve me well.

To me,

I consulted with my friend who is a photographer like that (after I made that ahatzova is for).

He said something right. If going for a Trek SLR camera and tripod photography one must have goals beyond the walking itself.

I don't know if that's the case with you (although by that picture I believe. Great pics!). I know that sending her back? I mean to take the more times after SLR a trip ...

Anyway he says he ahatzova the second option seems rather and not show him there was anything specific is appropriate for these requirements.

I'm going to start buying new lens, but I guess a tripod and improvisation are the following.

If you buy a tripod, I'd like to hear her opinion after I experienced on this trip!

With thought of Gorilla food ?

Except the height issue, I think it can fit most needs.
(Which ever one to trek my Canon S95 and suitable for most uses you specify).

According to your requirements, it appears that the second link is the best. Anyway, I prefer to use gorilapod-SLRZoom trip but I don't shoot macro.

Alon-thanks for the clarification (and compliments), is a photographic excursion, but again so what I want to lug in about 2 kg of camera + lens + tripod. Will update when shakana.

Harmonix! acquainted with the Gorilla, but for some reason she always gave me the impression especially nice gimmick, stands at this altitude (Table Top) has enough professional options (more stability, better carrying capacity) and more expensive.
Anyway, I'm looking for something higher.

The gorilapod is not a gimmick – her greatest model to man (gorilapod focus) strong enough to hold a camera and 70-300 lens is massive, with a weight of 2 kg, with long exposures. The SLRZoom have good enough for Sony Alpha 700 and 16-80 mm lens on the same ability to connect almost everything is plus, after I tried quite a few tibeltop stands still haven't found anything to match it.

However, the low gorilapod. Definitely.

Certainly, if that also provides flexibility and allows for some interesting angles (using twigs, rocks, etc.).

I might be able to add something.

I have the SLIK SPRINT PRO II, is very light,
Normal height opened and quite stable for my camera (like yours)
Tmaron 550 d + 18-50.

As she is shorter than.

As for downside (specified). her balls uncomfortable, you might want to switch to another (not yet done) anyway, it works.
