Hey,
Ninelives99
Thanks about the recommendation to buy glass, I think that I take the pot/glass pint that is already purchased and removed jachnun I intend to purchase.

And now, I'm a little off topic and want to ask about the size of aluminium pot (pot jachnun).

I decided that instead of purchasing expensive pots set of MSR or Primus, I want to purchase aluminum pots and pot handle jachnun.
Pan size is measured by its diameter and pipe volume (litres).

Maybe someone knows what size fits? Recommended me here before a particular post on 16 but I don't know what is his size.

I want a pot of 1.3-1.5 liters.

Sincerely,

Moran

Ninelives-tried in osem's tovshilim. Work, although there is no intention to replace the polycarbonate of GSI have in tovshilim. I am willing to pay the extra 30 grams for comfort, this of course varies from person to person.

I always recommended on aluminum pot. The size is somewhere around one and a half liter or a little more.
The common rule of thumb for travellers claiming to have the volume of a pint per person; I submit that this is probably not really hungry people. For me it takes more than that. The 1.3-liter pot clubs have enough other people without reserve, and sometimes lonely want significantly more than a pint: for example, this week I was on a trip, and dinner was enough to kill myself with something rice package is defined as three years. Together with 300 ml water after cooking this thing got a much larger volume of a pint.

10-16, diameter = 2 gallons. Grow a pair. Try it about 14 liters.

I travel with 1.3 liter and is optimized.

In my opinion the discussion about cooking bags is not weighed against bag-weight but if you cook in a pot (bag) you can't simultaneously can do say no more pot, Tea Cup! And that's a lot of extra weight

About 500 ml-I absolutely agree-when I'm alone I can with a 500 ml and 500 ml drink tea if I'm really hungry or thirsty does it again. For me the real problem in larger pots is not only weight, but primarily the 1.5 liter pot-is almost the shcsh of zero. it's crazy (!!!!!) for settlement reasons is small glass pot, cooking in a bag if need warm water several times.

YMMV of course.

Shahar-country where 14 pot? 16 was the smallest I could find in supermarkets (not as expensive Kit travel stores).

Mike-I don't see the benefit in that no glass: anyway need to boil the water in another vessel, then you can make a cup of tea and cook in the other. In the bag you will need to reverse the order, but what's the difference?

And volume-no problem. I never took an empty pot; There's always the chalia, utensils, and food and so on.

As I wrote on these topics mountains YMMV almost religious.

I think you fail to convince science that you utilize the 100% volume (unless pushed shcsh name ...) and difficult to handle large packing cube small portfolio

The advantage of a clear bag:
1) you take each dish in its own bag.
2) cooking in the bag – no dirt in the pot, there is nothing to clean up.
3) cooking/tea Act while food is cooking in the bag.

There is enough space in the bag to accommodate the amount of water you need?

Hey,

I purchased today, is one of the tools in the area of residence House, jachnun 16 diameter aluminum (25 NIS).

The pot looks and feels so small that even thinking about an 18 diameter because the lid that might serve as a small bat in large pot, but would eventually take the compact 16 inter alia because of what I recommended here (thanks Yagil).
Anyway I hope enough volume for making cooking as simple as packing for the pair.

By the way, there is no pot shops 14 checked and even had to explain why I want to remove larger 16 and asking for product innovations.
Sells one question if I'm going to make 2:-) ג'חנונים only.

Now what remains is to purchase a handle and functional (15 $).

Sincerely,

GIBSON
That's like asking if there's enough room for a hot cuppa. If you buy food in the bag so the answer is Yes if you only select a bag of rice.

Most of what I know of packets are 400 ~ 500 ml water
