Hi there,
I wanted to update you on the case sucks have this week against VF (importers The North Face).
Coat pork client when all the HyVent coating begins to peel off in the hat and collar.
The coat itself although a few years old, but saw very little use and is in very good condition overall.

I sent my coat pork importer which letter of the irritating responsibility shirking – although the manufacturer boasts a lifetime guarantee on its products.
Really sucks to importers. This could be a special case, but I thought it appropriate to share and to hear about your experience against the importer (VF).

The manufacturer's site, on the labels and their publications.
For example:

I was writing a post on BPL and asking about OUTDOORSMAGIC experience of others.

After a week (and responses) was writing to the TNF with link to posts. I do think them.

By the way-not sure why importers/retail stores as those bastards.
I usually faces directly the manufacturer already had several successful attempts (thermarest, arcteryx, lowa, terranva)

Speaking today, I received an email back from about arcteryx GTX jacket 8 (!!!) that he had de-lamination. I sent some pictures and they said: ' choose and send you a new model. Good luck and thank you. "

Micky-glad to hear it! It's good to know which manufacturers can rely!

I tried to contact TNF directly of another item. Once I understood that I was not found in the United States they simply stopped responding. Not even asked me to continue the treatment against the local viewer.

I am therefore going to abstain now that I can work with TNF.

Guy

Sounds bad. I'm not big on TNF anyway ("regular" clothes like BASE was considering them, but nothing more.
In the new series of professional shoes are designed and manufactured in Italy) but for me they fashion Corporation

Separately-I almost always buy the equipment abroad I tell which sentence like: "I bought at REI last year." Then it's all good. They ask where to send I say I moved in Israel. "

This is the life

CASCADEDESGINS give a lifetime guarantee for the owner without questions about mattresses. It's amazing ... And that I think is worthwhile because every forum on the Internet for this treat.

ARCTERYX-don't know but I heard a rumour (don't know if accurate) that are very aggressive with GORE that they confirm their manufacturers to work with GORETEX and part of it is that GORE sets a lifetime guarantee with no questions asked. Therefore anyone who works with most requirements to

I have a pretty old bag TNF (bought it in 2002, Appalachia, but around 2005 they replaced it for me), he broke one of the shafts.
I sent an email to VF, and they told me they have a two-year warranty for defects in manufacturing and have no responsibility for accidents and problems with the use of sources. The representative answered nonetheless sent an e-mail to either their representative in the country (some Ofer_Yaar On), contact me. I haven't heard from him ever.

Also requests that I had in neo-air wasn't easy. A little after their representatives in the country (at the time it was to think Obama has delegates?) and finally I was able to receive email from any of their contingent in Ireland. They agreed that I send them the mattress (on me), and I fixed it (= the name sticker). Ultimately, no complaints. But it wasn't easy to get to them and get the service.

I also changed a few times of Platypus bags. In the USA, I know you can come up with a bag dripped into the store, and get a new one. In Israel make fun of you. It has been given.

Then I realize I'm not alone with my nerves on VF and TNF.
-Importer eventually replaced your backpack?

As far as I know "lapidot dedicated equipment are the representatives of Cascade Designs (parent company of MSR, Platypus, Therm a Rest). Previously I went directly to Cascade Designs about filter failure (breaking the filter body as a result of an error in operation) and they sent me without any new cost coming from England in airmail. They knew that I was in Israel and that the malfunction resulted from a mistake.

Dear friends I don't and neither importer business. I know that lifetime warranty of defect given created due to the manufacturing process of the product, any product (especially those that are) suffering from wear and tear and that no warranty

Welcome guys

Give responsibility for what you want. In the end all you have is a balance sheet is called something like "future allocation to product liability mimoshi" and another line in the income statement called "changing the future allocation to implementation."

Besides there is an entirely different row called balance (sorry I don't have the Hebrew term) "Intangibles" and on assets = IE something positive.

At the end of CASCADEDESIGNS decided that more profitable for them to give a lifetime guarantee on all world etc etc. and upload the back row than like TNF and improve the final first

It has nothing to do with this business.

With my bag made the Appalachia in 2002. He hasn't been 100 percent when I was finished, but was still very usable. Just a few tracks around the belt began to fall apart.
I chased them in stores (even though you bought us the case itself), and twice took it as their representatives, look at the case, saying there is nothing to do with it. At the time it was in about five months on the trail. Hard work, but I think watching to replace two strips as part of responsibility is not too.

After a few months I flew to England, and took the case down to TNF store in London (C time weren't stores in the country). Only a few days, so the team could not take the case and send for repair, but I finally managed to get their contact's email. Once again checked my bag at the store, this time following the orders of the TNF utilities from Europe, and after a few weeks I received back a new case (although I could replace girdle. never asked or expected to bag).

In other words, the end came, but it was hard to get it.

After a few years the system snapped back (less than a year ago but it didn't work for me, hard case maximum reserve from time to time). This time the reaction abroad was to Cone, and made me nothing of their contingent in the country.

This is my story. I don't have much against TNF. They company. But they never my cup of tea, hiking equipment, plans to buy more stuff.

In the field, service providers can I recommend Mountain Hardwear (sent them criticism, largely positive, including tent saying following bdgem should add another vent upstairs in response they asked me to send them the tent stitched him vent free bonus and gave me a bag of pegs) and REI (after my first time on Israel, sent them a letter and complain about their coat after two months and six months after acquiring-leaked the reaction was of course ' about? It was OK, send and receive your money back. Yagil 41251.9156481481
