In the past promised to upload photos of the backpack that I put on myself. Repeated attempts to accomplish this end without anything, just disconnected in the middle of the upload. Disguise and instead gave my blog a complete list (more or less) of the equipment I have added helpful comments. Incidentally, the original idea to upload this list came from the blog of ALE, and the failure to display the photographs served as a trigger.
The photos of the backpack you will therefore find

Here

Questions or comments are welcome:)

The backpack is very impressive.
However, the abdominal strap seems very minimal relative to volume-weight. Doesn't it?

For me it is exactly the correct proportions but it is quite possible that others. However, since all the modular structure, it can be replaced. And really, in my disposal even wider Strip her removed from the pod had a crossbow (and spend good) but have not yet completed all the stitches to installations.

First of all, I think we've met before (I studied Physics degree 1 and 2 and you sell me a lot. Who knows maybe me tirgelt.)

About the equipment a few thoughts I had:
1) backpack reminds me of something my army stuff (network etc) EXTERNAL FRAME has certain advantages, but in general I don't need it unless the weights of predators (in the army was that dedicated carrier production relevant for certain items that say weight 60 pounds) that I solve by orstiliot it had hard shells limited (!) to download the weight significantly relative to FRAME because the INTERNAL size (I presume you're asking yourself why they don't live like full-sized Ant EXOSKELETAL.
About ה"מעטפה"-I consider a backpack with zippers that TOPLOAD without serious vulnerability
2) micro-fleeces, thermal, etc. I wonder how/what I'm comparing and checking to see for example between CRAFT to say PATAGONIA CAPLINE etc etc. At the end of the transport of sweat and evaporation, but very hard to measure parameters such as weight, zipper, HOOD, ABRASION RESISTANCE. It now your record doesn't have much value (who knows) because it is clear that the CRAFT better than cotton and tight to the body etc etc
3) add models (!!!!!) which CRAFT they have 4 different families etc.
MARMOT rain suit-4) I don't know what model-but both assume the their PROPRIETARY maachomer is 2.5 LAYERS FROM with PU and (!) GTX or steitemst eVent and therefore is not accurate-have materials that breathe better. Still obvious physical contradiction between wind and water tightness and transportation and evaporation of sweat and effort (like strenuous walk) anyway sweat like hazirip. The difference between the coats therefore be some point at which OVERWHELMED and quickly coat drying preferences later
5)-jacket-chnel data. Make weight etc. It makes it a bit amorphous. Suggest you read some difficult and hashcholot for outerwear (some) there are callouts (?) about how and what to measure and how temperatures and subject reference & flip
6) tent-3 successful seasons and lighter than-not sure if you have money out there to dispense with a lot of confidence.
7)-shcsh!!! RZ = ZIP RIGHT doesn't mean anything. There are lots of (!) information on hard and BPL. Suggest you read that not everything said in there necessarily accurate.
8)-SIMLIGHT (!!!!) not well isolated f-R = 2.0 this may to minus 5 shadow old technology. Look at XTHERM to receive what proportion NEOAIR available today.

1) backpack reminds me of things anything my Army

Exactly what I thought when I read that!

Not under external frame backpack military seen only once on one of the mountains. Really a classic.

The concept, and especially the possibility to think already very cool.
It fits my needs now and in the near future.

But I think that would be very nice to deal with that someday.

Interested in what you think the long sleep sack with respect to this body?
I recently stopped my joy to ashcsh is exactly why it is shcsh of a leader due to a mistake in the order received.
True, there is more upside down but said cold hard to minimize casualties.

Arthur, is indeed a classic.
Mike, I have practiced a lot of contemporary courses from 95 to 2001 or something like that. (The quantum physicists and practiced twice).
About Backpack: backpack isn't very heavy as it may look. Not measured (do it soon and report blog) but I guess weighing around two and a half pounds, maybe three. It doesn't matter if that carrier was carbon fibres reduces weight to half.
But it's convenient, that. Can't explain why, stable body free from aachbich and fan back. In my opinion, the weights of over 8-10 kg has a clear advantage on backpacks. But this feeling might be, I'm biased, or whatever.
The problem in an easy-to-access topload is equipment. Once you have packed your knapsack, the top is accessible immediately. I agree with you that the zippers are weakness, at least in my backpack. But what good is the modularity concept. If you find a better shell (you can work) will not hesitate to switch.
Regarding firms (Craft): since I am not professional, I know models and firms. I buy and try comparing to what I knew before. Right after I buy I remove all the unnecessary patches of clothes, including a tag indicating the model. So I can't tell you exactly what I purchased. But (big but): the equipment wears out at a crazy rate (I go to three or four walks every week). And every time I buy new, I bought the latest model is the best according to recommendation and subject to sensory. But I admit, my understanding and orientation are professional models but by feeling, impression and tip of the importer or taste.
Really recommend me for whatever outfit she's breathing pretty and easy, I can't wait to buy one! I was not able to identify the parameters that display on my suit, I found the inscription CC-440 440 or CG-I have no idea what that means.
About bag and flip pass for all discussions and would love to study. Everything I wrote comes from personal impressions, from personal experience, not a scientific test. I realize I know very few firms, beyond personal experience have no professional knowledge. But the impression I'm subjective as it is, advantages and disadvantages.
Finally, regarding the mattress, the question is what are the requirements. I don't get to hang out with negative temperature extremes and therefore I don't want to protect me from the cold. I think the lowest temperatures you encountered were about minus five to minus eight degrees, then the isolation was good as I mentioned. If you have an idea for an isolated product that is also easier to hear! (I'd love to link specific name of product if anything) don't save money on equipment, it's not just a question of survival, it is a question of quality of life. Brand ofer 41299.7323958333

Mike, a little more info:: Marmot Trestles sleeping bag-15F/RZ 9C, REG.
I consider most of the items mentioned in the list (try to gain weight instead of my job) and it will give a little more information about the quality (or quality) of the item. Put this blog over time. And more: love to hear specific recommendations on three seasons tent benefits worth the price tag. I mean, if it's $ 50 made more 2,000 less, but if you have obvious advantages (such as significant reduction in thicken, significant reductions in weight), then that's exactly what I need.

Thanks a lot for sharing, Ofer!

Well done on the project. I'd love to know what weight (2.5 kg sounds a little too optimistic).

Care for which you need to transfer a 90 litre bag and high weights?
Did you stop using LOWE's pod (talked about in the past tense)?

About the a's and joined the aircraft: km too long's as good (more volume, more surface area and the effect the bellows).

About the mattress as Micky pointed out, with new air mattresses you can save half the weight without sacrifice or isolation capability.

Vetis long bag, * by * harder to heat. But I have two reasons to prefer long bag: one, I'm sleeping as well as shmrval, shlaberim as there is a space traffic, and when I can wallow in as you wish. If there is no space movement every time I knee or arm have a checkpoint while changing posture during sleep or if I try to dive in and length of the bag won't allow me. Second: consider that the real body when you sleep on your stomach or even sideways is gbach + foot length (more or less). If the sleeping bag is not long enough, the foot stretches. That hinder the ability of isolation and less warming bag, especially the contact of the body with the stretched area.

Harmonic wave 90 gallons they. And I haven't had to inflate the bag (and then the top left empty). The mind is very compact and rigid backpack like a log. It makes it very difficult to communicate with the case during walking (e.g. to wear clothing when it's cold, orezo when it's hot, and rain gear); Small used bag becomes a project of dismantling and packing. This density, appear later in isolation make items like a coat that is launched unless good trouble oorram. In the backpack of stuff very easy accessibility, specific gravity easier and better on the body, and always good to have a little more room. BTW, I prefer all Pack equipment in a backpack than hanging from the outside part, though the outer frame is really ideal for external use. The difficulty with such a large volume casing is to maintain uniformly and case freedom of movement in relation to the back and was with me most of the effort. The pod was just the LOWE spend and torn.

BTW, can you give me a recommendation for a mattress?

I also have air mattress SIMLIGHT EXPAD 2.5 g weight 630 and I also have the TERM A REST PROLIGHT + 3.8 weight 640 g and the EXPAD.

Because both valves each one for blowing air.

The EXPAD much more comfortable because its easy to inflate easy to fold

Unlike the T A R so I'm considering buying either the 2.4. Even if weighs 710 grams.

About the rain suit also has a MARMOT PRECIP pants suit and breathing breathing coat too.

Although I'm not sure 100% sealed to my new water and that first winter if the suit.

I'm a little concerned. No offense because it's not my intention, but as analytical person (I guess ...) approaches the subject a little heuristically committed to my taste:
1) shcsh must match, but obviously too shcsh it a waste and greater productivity is decreasing heating etc then it takes more then heavier insulation etc etc. Hiking in the country I don't like to talk that the right source is not so challenging-but no significant source (below zero) starts to feel significant weight differences. For comparison: my shcsh to minus zone 3 weighs 550 grams. And I'm not a little guy. And think how much weight will save
2) mattress offers you learn the differences between
Self inflating open cell
Inflatable air mats
Air insulated mats
Reflective coating (essentially airmats NEOAIR family
The differences are significant. Already wrote here in detail, but I still see a lack of accuracy in understanding the possibilities and (!) measure the insulation value (R VALUE) Note well that works around R = 2 ~ 4 are for real winter (below 5צל)
3) I personally recommend for NEOAIR series-high weight RVAL is very small and extremely small folded size and sensitivity to humidity inflated. In addition, if you are not afraid of very low temperature peek at KLYMIT XFRAME
Pod-4) just don't understand. What a what it gives? Just excess weight and lack of control over the movement of items inside a backpack that's a nuisance if you're just going and potentially dangerous run States of equilibrium as climbing, river crossing etc. I travel with a backpack and TOPLOAD compress and I mostly rice it 30 seconds (of course after I decided at how I arrange items)
5)-in the same shrinking individual items like shcsh etc hits the insulation capability of their interinse after many compression cycles. Even if you squeezed them "less" relation-then shrink it this way earn a lot. Just shake some out of backpack and have LOFT
6) equipment outside the backpack offers you to read what I wrote about תו"ל, and packing and dismantling the tent chock (someone asked here) I guess assuming rains come and the WCS fast I have to pitch a tent in the pouring rain, so always out pod (or pockets fastened well) gloves, hat, jacket and rain pants, part of the tent (or TARP), pegs
7)-there are plenty! Look at BA, TERRANOVA TARPTENT LASER FLYCREEK brooksrange, UL, etc etc Foray I think you could save a pound there.
8) about RAINGEAR membranes etc – have several types of technologies but the most significant difference between DIRECT VENTING and those who do not. Personally I was going or as breathing (probably eVent or perhaps NEOSHELL) and compromises about weight or go for the easiest (it probably PERTEX SHIELD PLUS or if you really want to create waterproof breathable cuben fiber then.)
Suggest you start here.
Then go tohere
Look also at STOMR
Then to look at weight Lani MONTANE SMOCK MINIMUS

And the WPB cuben fiber jkt zpacks
9) icroplis-movement AWAY from them. They have disadvantages of transporting sweat relative to more advanced fabrics. I was thinking something from POWERSHILED as CAPLINE POWERDRY or PATAGONIA 4
2010) walking shorts-cotton cotton kills. Period
-11) about a supposed wrote I already know (if you don't already know) all make the OUTDOOR industry comes as a by-product of the food industry (i.e. it is not LIVEPLUCK). So if you're not VEGAN vegetarian where you buy upside down.
12) your bag!!!!!!
13)!!!!!!!
I 14) three seasons with 45ליטר (of course without restrictions of the desert)

-About the mattress, as Mickey says, look at the NEOAIR family.

Mickey-reference to section 11? My attempts to clarify the issue in the past haven't gotten a clear answer (which is generally not a good sign in these matters).

Regarding the references:
I haven't done a full investigation (following research concept SA ishthon!!!)

But most serious companies (small to large) has information about it on the site and if you send an e-mail you and torture isbero

Look for example here.

Or here

Or here

There are a lot of moral issues that I don't claim to solve. The food industry also reversed course from industry brutalizes animals. My point was that if you're willing to accept it as part of your food (chicken, foie gras, beef, eggs, milk etc) there is no reason not to buy. There are very few places that the beast is just for omatt.

Type make (to my understanding) that is animal cruelty is EIDER where the bird is Shilo and survived her nest with flip best (that is the old one). But like I said in the relevant entry for Arthur's QUILT (I think) because the people gather and it hand in North American reserves rates.

Mickey,
And none taken.:) The answer to your input invaluable for me because I never explored these issues in depth. Thank you! I won't ' freak ' of equipment and enjoy doing market research. Therefore I usually rely on feelings and experience, and when I see six. outdoor store in. .. In short, it's not exactly analytical adjective (in physics and math is a little different though:) I like very much to make things myself, and then I got walking intimately with.

For our purposes: 1) vegetarian (although recently eat fish health reasons but the industry bothers me a lot). 2) important to me that a lot of profit even at the price of extra weight. Healthy sleep at night is a winning recipe and live for the day (for that reason I would also add weight to tent and only use a shield for arai). 3) most treks are made in extreme cold. Therefore the equipment I fit non temperatures are minus five degrees. 4) so planned when pods do not fill is tight: a complete framework to transfer tracks and the equipment to a third place also when the volume is full. The large size allows me to be with myself a little bit more l: underwear, thermal socks, another tank yet, and in particular: bearing a Backpack Backpack yet easy to brief members and types. If found in deer horns through the as-created Ivorian beauty-why to tie them. 5) pants: see you but I can't seem to put on something that's not legs. It's hard to explain. (I already said I wasn't analytically?) The NEOAIR 6) looks great. See The same is true about the breathing. -Definitely come once, but as stated, don't settle for tent-like, I want it shut down, two layer, ventilated, lightweight, powerful ... In short, need extra money. 7) tips and your comments and responses here are the treasure of knowledge and experience which is great who has to learn. Not suitable for advice or to the nature of my walks but obviously what ultimately, expands the perspective and wait. In particular, your criticism.
