Hi friends,

After five years with superior comfort and efficiency pair of Salomon (can't find online the model) I want to change to a new model. I'm very undecided whether to buy GTX shoe with or without that 90% of the time I travel in this country except for one trip a year or two abroad that has more than week trek.

So I'm torn between these two models:

According to the nature of the trips I recommend without Gore-Tex.
Shoe without membrane "breathe" much better with the heat and humidity of Israel.

Then, when we go out for a walk wet and cold, what can I do? (For that matter January level)

Salomon's shoes have now both with GTX.

I actually live in the North and my mud many trips but I believe the current shoes. Both in excellent condition but actually hot and I feel they don't fit my needs.

If you are traveling in heavy rain – the Viking boots with Gore-Tex won't help.
You with skin disease + giiters.

Arthur I agree with you.

But for now they don't anymore.

My current shoes indeed stood and still stand in (took them but I can't upload, and almost no stitches).

Hey Ely,
You're right. Just read people's reactions about the shoes that breathe and membrane is not watertight as Gore-Tex.
Of course if you recommend other models love to hear.
Eventually have also measure and see what best?.

I've found some more models.
But without goterx waterproof

Easier breathing seems a favorite animal.

Can someone explain to me the difference when the top of shoe materials, nylon mesh or polyester?

The differences between the two models are very minor (no way I feel the difference because 20 ounces) except one of them has a membrane (generic of old Oslo) that turns the lock ל"אטומה" (and I hope you understand that half low canvas shoe will never be really opaque water) and it is a distinction that must be reckoned with, but mainly because it would be necessarily hotter.
Your decision.

Nylon mesh/Polyester mesh:
About the material it may have "network" piece of suede fabric above the shoe. One is made of nylon and polyester in second.
Or in other words, you won't feel the difference.

My purpose in buying these pair of shoes they will not be sealed into the water to breathe and speech better without membrane. I already have a pair of leather is almost full and grotecs so I'm really looking forward to traveling with breathing shoes.

I also tend to believe that hold a shoe walks because I don't carry the weight that exceeds 8-9 pounds.

And the choice also depends on the supply that shop =)

As regards the stance against the nylon polyester precedence?

NetA-published the requirements brought recommends you look at Merle's shoes (MID VENTILATOR, for instance).
If you're looking for affordable comfort and ventilation, don't think you can find something more suitable.

Thanks for the tips.

I want to share with you that yesterday I happened to be in Jerusalem and stopped by the Caravan and impressed with sellers.

I saw that the models I want them so I explained what I wanted. They tried to convince me that I should buy a shoe with Gore-Tex and tried to push a few models to measure and told them it was pointless because I don't want a shoe with Gore-Tex. At one point one of the sellers said, so say you just want a sports shoe. Another familiar said a trip to the desert with strong granite ruin massive shoes with Gore-Tex. I tried to explain to her that I want to be ventilated shoe designed for day trips in the country and hatiiati with several people in the Forum of the Lake as well. She told me that customers need to learn to listen to and also I don't need necessarily to rely on forums where men writers although 20s 30 highly experienced but differ from me in body characteristics.

Too bad..

Israel

As always, you have to remember that stores should sell and get rid of excess goods on the shelf, legitimate.

We as experienced consumers should not fall into this trap.

I know that over the past few years the shops sell out of audience out there trekking in South America and the Gore-Tex shoes.

There are other stores.  There are other shoes, do you find the oasck models without Gore-Tex? VASQUE

Try grviti, ask them where the model you have interested him.

The salesman role also advises to sell.
Gore-Tex Mieux because it more and different places and own versatile sense, even for it's convenient in the shoe.

About the caravan, as former Jerusalem bought there once or twice, I can understand your feeling about Kenya experiences.
I can't say that the major networks necessarily higher professionalism, but it (case auspryy not me gave fits to my height).
Best forums for consulting them.

Shoe grbiti nnfela must be called, the style-the ZG 65 I like to recommend, but with an important difference: Gore-Tex.

About-store experience I understand that they have a need to sell, but there is a way and that way they lost a customer.

Ma-looked less impressed, thanks.

Lior, who directed her shoe looks interesting indeed only two drawbacks: price and weight. I aspire to shoe a little easier from 500 gr. Indeed worth measuring but I wish I had a distributor in the area I live in is just not exceed an hour.
