Hello everyone,
I'm going to spend the next two months in the region United Kingdom and then continue traveling, haven't decided where (East/New Zealand). But before I thought to take advantage of cheap flights in Europe last trip before the winter.

My question is, is there anywhere we can travel in Europe around October in Geneva and hiking infrastructures that are still active (and about)? I was thinking mainly in Spain and the least reading so more towards the GR11 say where the weather is more stable and predictable. (Direction is simply because Spain's imagination or less provided for.)

Thank you for responding!

GR11 possible but very borderline in October. it mostly depends on the season, you have to be prepared for any weather (including snow).

Another possible is South of Greece-Spain find out information about the Sierra Nevada. There's also goes by the name GR (annual reporting part of it here on the site).

A little confused my friend.
Who is actually reporting you and you referred to the excellent blog of two British GR7 recall:

Grenada

I just moved around on roads and I looked at the scenery, and ate a snowstorm in May while desperate attempt unsuccessfully to ride a bicycle on the way to the top of the Sierra:
PRADO Llano, the experience was amazing and exciting puzzles very drank alcohol.

I felt one day the tortures and downloading and cyclists, can realize that not sure weather shine inside, but a fascinating experience and definitely in the torero (bullfighting a common Warrior)

For those looking for thrills, for the weather shouldn't build is malleable back from 35 degrees as highlight of 10, Spain's, but its appearance from the beaches of Almeria residence of Victor Fernandez one of world windsurf wave generation, amazing flavors, of course this relies on image description during the snowstorm which I see was limited to 500 meters from the amazing. And the most beautiful scenery I've seen around Prado Llano would show the bus down.
Of course, the sun shone down, like I never had a Blizzard at the top, you have to be to understand this powerful, hard to describe in words, if you and edit the variable weather heat to snow.
So both are 11 and 7 match with weather to 7 priority priority and difficulty for the winter, it is possible to obtain properly on the road where they have all, Refugio Spanish cast had all required the highest standards, but acetidoth in dkatelon or Corte inglese two leading stores dedicated acetidoth get a little expensive, need and suit coat and blanket signs , You can definitely go in haliptsky is very convenient, and probably might need crampons or can rent snow sandals.

So you can understand what I mean in liquid weather shows exactly how this episode was may warm weather and snow in Spain, and I just Dove for it, anyone who prepares accordingly enjoy crazy levels but beware caution that trip in the snow (don't trust whatever but may be) requires preparation and familiarity with different surroundings.

Of course I linked to GR7 not found blog quick link to him, indeed almost did actually planning day trips was to ride to Sierra road Camino de la Sierra that only cyclists and moving vehicles in this area, moved in part because big started right but missed the splitter right under the bridge later wound up on the highway and couldn't get back on the road, anyway, I saw the way Sierra Sierra Nevada gihar beautiful views for all intents and purposes Indeed, I wanted was going to planned excursions and another Park in Nevada and donina parks but the weather and time cooperated and I really enjoyed the rest in Zaragoza and traveled on regular rate.

Never mind the mistake already bought your book and I promise a future

The Argentine who rent me the bike said came to live in Granada since he SURFs and ski guide, so we arranged to meet there.

From these two the 240 matches to understand for those wishing to avoid snow and 7 home those who came looking for him.

The first route GR7 in October saw the weather directory specified in the description take snow Sandals to the molatn Summit, crampons and axe depending upon snow depth and snow, as written, what decision should depend on the situation if wet slippery snow needs, if not and it is soft snow sandals.

Really need to arrange two sticky values these trekking 11
And 7 I volunteer to assemble all the material shitepna me some time
Convinced by the professionals can make these treasures
Accessible to all.

Thanks for responding! I was concerned that there were no responses so where to travel at this time. And the pictures look amazing.

Truly iron sheep property describes the track of warham. Really helps.

So what I gather the GR240 is the preferred option.
And extended too for the Pilgrim trail to Santiago de Compostelle.

Anyway I don't know if I did the track alone or with roommates and I have so much experience in hiking in the snow-I experienced (or seen.) in snow or crampons sandals and walking conditions require ski suits. I also don't think you should do that first. And maybe not so bad demon (?)

Indeed the description of me and the other 7 no less comprehensive and exhaustive, two comments:

Already made a flight of concatenating assignment both flew through Brussels 500-600 dollars as Valencia shtorcish cheaper, although the concussion problem.

Snow and skihashd not see but need experience, you can bypass the areas anyway, so there is nothing to worry about, maximum rental in Prado Llano or elsewhere and sandals experience Ski suit, if going in the snow ski suit prevents penetration of water or snow shoes, so you don't get wet, the problem is necessarily heat source
This is a very comfortable outfit to walk in most cases don't even need her too hot, it was in my bag and walked through the snow with sandals and thin clothing, but shoes were damp.

Argentinean bike agency Grande is a treasure trove of knowledge, if you want to take a rented bike smart per day 12 euros as I recall, the first bus to 0900 Sierra face made tours in the surroundings there are plenty of itineraries, Sierra, return to sit down with some descriptive Argentinean through the man is a professional ski instructor and mountain know, came over every detail before I went out to ride his knowledge really help you And here you have a link to.

Grenada rather cool with the North in some respects, mainly because the support you need in consulting and in directions will be in the South, the North much more rich in industrial, you won't find many people in the city live, as well as the combination of vibrant tourism lifted considerably better than the isolated villages in the North.

About molaasen to the Summit:

The point is not only to equipment used in the snow and the knowledge to use it, the main thing is to know which way to go:

I read here in one of the shirshors that the increase isn't difficult and who wrote know Miss echsho thing is just part of the picture is the most important part is to know how to avoid due to danger from landslides:

To created landslides two conditions must be met:
The first big snowfall amounts.
Other slope slope between 30-45 degrees.

In molaasen there are ways and ski trails marks off the track here a map prepared at the site and a detailed explanation:

Map of the ski track of Sierra Nevada.
