Hi, sorry about the punctuation but normal keyboard.

My wife and I did all the way from IRUN to ENCAMP in Andorra
We enjoy; Very pretty here, lots of mountains and lakes and forests;

The walk was much more difficult in the beginning, we are now accustomed to us that his first big Trek, and that was a good surprise!

A few comments that might be of interest to the Forum:

1) midsummer weather vigorously despite the harsh winter we had a weather hazard and we only had one day we could go because it was so much rain!
2-the CASAII of) 12 holding up very well in the storm, we want
He slammed the GR11) hard to walk a lot of ups and downs, 1000 ft is pretty normal.
4) NAVARRA is the Pearl isn't visible for much of his lovely green hills and forests, and much less notable
5) cows are arguably the Mecca of his trip are everywhere, defecating and pollute the water and air, and in the most comfortable tent ¡ also national parks there is plenty of cows, the sign says not to deviate from the path, but cows there!
6) snow-pretty much snow this year, which also helps that drinking water is available everywhere, although I can't compare to other years, and disturbing that there are places such as near a RESPUMOSO trail just underwater! we had problem with snow-only in TEBARRI in was much snow, but you can bypass it and we just moved that afternoon when the snow is soft without gear!
7) directory after 7 years see CISERONE's Guide not updated maps of PRAMES too! they have mistakes – for example the road to DORVE! the Guide gives a general outline, but you can't rely on the incorrect prices, no camp points wherever he goes, and elsewhere, and there are several CASAS DE IRATI days you just replaced the route of the trail description is nice for general information But many just irrelevant information, and we do not use it to navigate the map! more new and updated, and the markings for high level d, although there are places where we need to rely on the maps and basic logic-for example, shamslul became a river!
Fortunately, I heard the CISERONE intend to issue a new edition!
8) other equipment--not cold, in General! my thin brass jacket that probably was more devoted our gear — tent CASA II of sabari and marmot TRESTLES 15 enough definitely!
9) purchase-quite a few villages on the trail, making it easy to purchase nor have his buildings carry a lot of weight if you do not want, if you want to save money on food Refugio is very expensive!

In General, we enjoy very beautiful here! we're not so careful about money, so it's nice to have the occasional double room instead of tent and eat a nice number for a possible it! of course it costs a lot of ups and downs-it's not easy on your knees (:

Well, we finished the GR11, we wandered some more and returned to Earth.
Latest information for 2013.

It is time to summarize. So what is the GR11 and who is good?

The GR11 route crosses Pyrenees is the Atlantic Ocean Mediterranean Sea.
He moves in Spain and Andorra, relatively close to the border with France, and in several places by him.
This is a course of approximately 850km, and an altitude of approximately 40,000 feet.

The track consists of three main sections, roughly divided by States in Spain that runs them.

Part i:-Navarre also features day of the Basque country. From Isaba, Atlantic until about. This is part of green hills and mountains, without really. Height with progress westward.

Part II: Aragon – roughly from Zoriza and continues to. This is some of the highest mountains. It includes some of Aragon and Catalonia.

Part III: Catalonia-descent from high mountains to the Mediterranean Sea. This part, and includes Nuria, is very high. At the end of the track is very Mediterranean.

Weather: us was pretty hot. Even in the mountains. There was quite a bit of rain, but most of it comes in the afternoon, after the daily hike ended. There is a projection, but you can't rely on it too much.
Anyway, as we opened the tent and stayed dry.

The nature of the track varies from part to part, but there are a lot of ups. The higher parts are also rockier.

Accommodation:

There are several types of accommodation:

1)/hostel-in almost every village has a place to sleep. Double private room price from 33 EUR expires to 90 euros. (Not that there is 90).
2) kampimag website: camping, often cheaper than a double room. Need to bring a tent. Usually sites are controlled by families with trailers. Price 15-28 euro.
3) tent, that we all know-simply start all somewhere. If there is water in the area-great, if not, you need to bring. Where policy camping rules vary from State to State, but it's kind of over 2000 metres above sea level. GORIZ allowed to sleep in a tent near the rpogio, and RESPUMOSO. The Spaniards don't follow the law, and sleeping in a tent in many places, just trying to hide and set up the tent late (9 pm) and download it.
4) and ioak: the most surprising shape us-sleep without it completely laws tent wherever you want, and many Spaniards do it along the way. Find a place in the country in a bus, or some shelter and sleeping. Locals also recommended recommended us.
5) Refugio:. You can pay for accommodation, price of approximately 15-18 euro per person bunk beds with more than a few people in the room. With members of the governing body, there is a significant discount.
You can also buy dinner for 15-17 euros, and is very large.
Most camping is prohibited in the area, but the kind of beeping.
6) Refugio Libre: basically a cabin in the mountains. Nice sized Tin pieces 3 feet by 2 feet, and houses are equipped with gas. Various levels of maintenance.
In nbara they were all filled with cow crap.
In Spain they were.
Also in Catalonia.

Water:
We had a lot of water in the high mountains, quite a lot of nbara, and lots of Catalonia at the end but there was room for water every day and at the end. There are plenty of cows, so need to watch where the water. In addition, because many of the water are preparing Blizzard should add minerals to the water in order to make them more isotonis. We bought a juice powder-water, minerals and calories.

Equipment: it is important to bring sticks to maintain. Can we not bring tent, but it allows greater flexibility and shelter from rain. Without a tent, there are parts that must pass in a day, or maybe even one of 2 sections.
Besides, mountains and waking up alone with gorgeous views.
Medium plus sleeping bag and shoes are pretty.
We had bags of 50-60 liters and Milan them at all.
-Equipment can be chilly at night and really cold at night or early morning. Bring at least one hot item, and also a hat for your head and ears. Raincoat-wind. We didn't bring rain pants and we had a problem at all.

Food: the route passes through many villages to buy them food. Almost every village, as long as it's not Sunday, and hours (not include the paragraph about one to four or five). The route passes mountains in Refugio where you can buy food, but is expensive, so we usually eat with us.
We ate mostly bread, cheeses, cold cuts and snacks and packed, couscous with sausage.
In the villages and buy food in Refugio. Obviously, the quality and the price, but the price varies between EUR 6 per Burger up to approximately 20 euros for menu del dia (expensive) three-course dinner with wine, water and bread. Very common, well usually. Prices rise when you go West.

Cooking: we used a hotplate, and easy to find. At Irun we bought 2 containers and used them until gbovim mountains, where easier to find gas – for example in Torla or Espot. I'm talking about fits gas, which can be found only in stores. Smoke gas can be found in stores-Ferreteria tool.
We have enough gas to meals, 13 container it quite a bit, but just rice and Couscous.

Navigation: rely mainly on markup, they are excellent.
But once they're gone, and rely on it you know where you're going — such as Candanchu ski resort. By Respumoso had problems with markup, since the flooding. Questions for other people to help.
Therefore the maps. We almost everyone who saw the use of maps, PRAMES aimed to illustrate it-GR11 and only very few around one of the best maps. Please note that the maps contained variants, you might not want to go and therefore failure to point to take.
Inaccuracies have maps sized cities, highways and in PINETA also canceled a camping area maps (and CISRONE's) talking about.
There are also places where variable path than most maps msmon to short not to go on the road, etc.
But sometimes we felt that in order not to go on a dirt road, the new route and costs just for no reason. In Catalonia there were places that were several well-marked trails, different years, so we went out once in the circle to one with back with another, when we are sure we're okay-the markup.

However, no use to navigate. We used it to predict what our endpoint (walking), and if there's one side or should get. And it has several errors. His irrelevant camping spots. (More at nbara).
We should not get the sufficient maps, maybe mark them places to sleep and write note how can take etc.
GPS helped a few points, but gave the feeling of security and helped points were a bit lost. Very nice to have.

Getting there:
We took a plane from Israel and landed in Barcelona. The next morning we took a train directly to Irun. A train arriving at 3:30 pm, just when the whole town is closed for siesta. We had trouble finding the screws, and found only a trekking store Irusha. We started walking at 5 p.m. We didn't go to Cabo Higuer.

When we got to Cap de Creus, Cadaques, we took a ride to and from there a bus to Barcelona.
