I want to buy the mountain hardwear's UL2 Supermega.

After the mistake I made with the Double Rainbow I prefer "feel" the tent before I purchase.

Anyone have any idea where can I see it?

Check whether Sturm (אאל"ט are the importers of MH) import the tent. If not, it will be difficult to see it in stores (maybe chchash?)

I really recommend that you check the copper spur UL2 before. It has for some people. I had him and he really Rolls Royce in 3 seasons tents stand themselves.

Thank you for the recommendation. They don't have the specific model.

Actually, the weight of the copper not winking at me. I don't travel (to date) in extreme conditions, I presume that the ul2 supermega will do the job.

Note that it says what that weight. Can be the difference between them is in the FS 100-150 grams.

However, it seems that in order to reach the weight they register they use nylon (not silaniilon), really small for 2 people and one door. Notice.

The lower supermega, its smaller floors which may be explained by differences in something I think the couple not to people less comfortable (one door, smaller don't narrow dimension of the tent and less space inside the tent to equipment). But I think he's a great traveler (assuming you're not NBA player)
BTW I got the HUBA HUBA NX two months ago new, slightly heavier but I went for sure for some reason (don't change successful horse)

Klum-it's not a negligible difference. It's all about compromise you're ready/not ready to make the right decision is accordingly.

As regards dried hubba hubba: nx data weighs 1.27 kg width 1.72 m and its length, 2.13 m (height 1 m, area of 2.7 square meters). The advantage: two entrances and balconies, durable (ground, fly).
Compared to 2.16 supermega-UL2-length, uneven width 89 cm-legs, 1.35 (0.91 m height, 2.5 square meters). The advantage: 600 grams less.

Assuming I don't intend hiking weather and maybe sometimes the hubba hubba alone busts.

Era, your comments are exactly my concern, which is why I want to see the tent.
The data fly bother me the 800-1200mm 10D I don't have enough experience in rain to assess this. To understand the silnylon Henry uses for example is 1200mm.

If you have any recommendations that might still not tested (I prefer a tent that stands on its own even without walking sticks).

Although it is crowded, the proven flycreek. Weighs a kilo. He was almost standing on its own (it takes 2 pegs in the back if you use fly, but either way you have the fly anyway put pegs at each point)

Out of curiosity what's wrong on Double Rainbow? Do you have any for sale? :-)

The tent was sold to a member of the Forum.

I didn't like it that is not free standing (you can build with ease but not ideal).

In the end I bought the mountain hardwear Ul2 Supermega second-hand (see.) in 330 bucks including shipping and footprint.

Let him review it if there's demand.
