Hello Forum members.
Seven years ago I traveled in South America with grmont shoe. Gore-Tex and ovibram. The shoe was just great!
My question is, does now, 5 years after she sat in shoe bag in attic, it is still good?
Did she survive a trip to Nepal and New Zealand?

If not, have a good day grmont time? Is there a shoe preferred on the same level? I have the model, because it doesn't say, but is strong and high shoe (not baletti).

Going to do multiple treks not large (about 6-10), medium difficulty.

Thank you very much,
Giora.

Giora.

From experience, sitting in a drawer for many years break completely and it can also be a year without using (depending on the quality/rubber adhesives)

It's probably because of the climatic conditions in the country and tend to dry and glue rubber to deteriorate, stop.

I've seen it happen to a lot of people walking in the shoes of quality also lying in drawers for years unused.

It happened to me too, I wanted to get rid of old shoes instead of throwing them out, took them to one trip, two intentionally. I checked the tape at home and appears to hold last trip, he held, but whatever happened, it's just a solia ibram broke apart and the end of the first day had to make repairs (bondage, DUCKTAPE and so on) to keep going. It reached that level of decomposition, one one abolami shoes shocks just came out and just left.

The shoes at the end of the second day before they went away you can see in the attached image:

Recommend you not to lock on a particular brand. Grmont., but each has the more successful and less successful. There is a huge selection of garmont.
A walk in the stores in your area. Go with what you're comfortable on the foot meets your needs and fits the style. Not with the name on the shoe.

"I'd rather lock or". You need to change the viewpoint. All the leading companies produce amazing quality shoes unless super exclusive use (and those little corners competition between some brands) it is not possible to say that any company better than another in shape. Very comfortable, very comfortable going to be X, Y, both measure and fit the shoes to our feet.
