Hello everyone and good evening.

I'd like to go soon to the Israel section of Ramon to overnight parking grottoes West

My only problem is that I can start the trail itself from (roughly) 3.
According to more or less figured it out (and please correct me if I'm wrong) 8.

Is it possible to walk the way at three and a half hours (noon to 3:30 sunset)?
Do you have a better alternative?

I would like to receive recommendations and tips.

PS: If anybody have an idea for a better route can be reached by public transport and is not too long and the end point is not really on (why you ask when Greece week culminates a Meteor and I want to watch it so I want to avoid settlements, etc.) would love to hear.

Thank you

You can specify the car's DNA on it? There are some around (including one in grottoes closed), and I don't remember which one it occur.

How are you going to go? Go to next day back to the Observatory in the same way?

Incidentally, from 15:00 until 19:30 is closer to 4.5 hours:-)

Hello and thank you for your help.

Coordinates: (139161, 997380)
GPS: (34.888, 30.5657)

Anyway.
You can answer the question of whether I could cross the track. Do you know the way and know what level of difficulty?
Is there any way to close or to disable the application bar?

I understand what you mean, but parking is near the road, and therefore in my opinion inappropriate to view meters.

The area is diverse night parking (2.5 km east of the road) I think would be more appropriate (assuming there are no spoils him campfires).

You didn't specify what your Prime and how the equipment goes, but not enough to go on to the river tone SJ in 3.5 hours.

Question-will you walk? There may be a specialization in Eilat through floating, which stops nearby.

With some equipment? Really not much.

Considering that I leave at noon and Observatory the next day at noon-no reason to carry more than 13 pounds.
-Gym -Not an athlete, but I did a few tracks in the desert (ein akev, separately, stream gravel and keeping the lab to SDE Boker because overnight parking separately due)

The walk so important to me, I don't care to do a shorter route, but I want to do a course, even if it is 4-5 kilometers, off the bus for the night feel a little hypocritical (hope you know what I mean.)

The line stops nearby for the night I mentioned, but the bus stops there at 5:30 p.m., which leaves me two hours before sunset.

You have a track that you can recommend?

Editing

I thought maybe to come in the evening and settled in shades Creek parking lot or parking garage in wells, and the next day to do the track number specified.

The problem is that writing on the Internet over high voltage line colors and it is noisy so if you can avoid it I would love

While near the garage in wells, wells and Khan is confident there will be full of guys that came with it and decided the evening Campfire and guitars.

The problem is that going in the morning August crater is not pleasure-heats up quickly and can be dangerous.

I encourage you to tune in to the parking lot. If you happen to him early, and you have two hours until dusk, you can make a sunset beautiful round: upload saronim mountain, go on, get off at SJ saronim side and back on the way back to the West parking lot 4 shades (back and Plateau). You can do it early in the morning before warmer earth.

I think that's enough to get us in the mood. Just watch you back away in the morning.

Edit: there is tension along the line, and I guess it makes a little noise (I don't recall it bothered me to sleep). For browsing in, allow 100-200 meters away to Greece and it should be fine. Far superior to the light wells parking and noisy for that matter.

Now I sit with a map on your proposal.

First I apologize for forgetting to thank properly-:)

Second, consider to make an itinerary offering the next morning.

If we get out of the parking lot the night around 7 we can make it really fun and the heat along has enough water if you find small hot spot with shadow-guidelines.

Thanks again and have a great night.

I believe that in between to win, predicting perk, in particularly spectacular

And although the Moon reaches its peak, I hope we can enjoy the meteor shower.

Hey just got off the phone with my uncle, a former tour guide

And he's asked will the wall up to Mitzpeh Ramon amonitim second day

I was thinking of starting the course early in the morning, Shen Ramon, rest during the hottest hours of the day (instead of Acacia) and later as a move to bring it to Mitzpeh Ramon

Is this advisable?

Is there really nothing to fear and should give

How much water do you think should be taken for two days.

ADI,

Perhaps you should use light pollution map, finding optimal observation spot.

Uploaded-actually my son, I have no idea how to do it-map light pollution to General Forum (future information retrieval purposes, preferred to open a new thread).

Fog may also interfere with, maybe you can try to determine the likelihood of fog or weather Forum meteorological service.

Good luck.

I'm joining. Cross that crater in August. If you want to watch the stars.

EO reason to walk. The tree now has only one method.

Your uncle is right.

There is hardly a shadow you don't track was etc.

It can be dangerous, and certainly won't be fun.

Consider hitch off road, or prepaid transport Observatory.

Saturday:).

So as I promised

We started today around 30 on Route 40 connecting with diverse River (South of mitzpe Ramon). We went to the East all the way to the parking lot the night stream. In retrospect, wasn't so smart to do just because we arrived around 5:30 p.m. parking garage and left an hour and a half of that went to waste, but not bad.

The night was a full moon, he just lights up the entire garage. At 1 night culminated the Meteor, expect at least 20-30 meteors despite the Moon light.

And now to the interesting part:)

With relatively small tent, so we left (four) files from outside the tent. I slept in a tent near the entrance, around 10:30 at night, I'm half asleep half awake, you hear in the background my friends say to each other to stop kicking the sides of the tent, I suddenly realize that something carrying my bag (at the moment the case weighed in around 16th-17 KB) I immediately jump, open the tent and let sink just drags me quickly, started to bark like crazy. I picked a stone and started running toward him. He left the bag and ran.

At this moment we have decided to put all the equipment into the tent.

Back to the tent, half an hour and we begin to hear voices from outside.

Quietly opening the tent look out and see our junk food dye. Food food food, looked at us for a few moments, then back to eat.

Then decided to sleep outside in sleeping bags because the 50 inch meteors was supposed to reach its peak at the same time, we were just looking at the stars, was amazing.

All three friends out at 2 am, a few minutes of walking around from side to side and I get the paint just travel 2.5 meters from us.

Ultimately, not much sleep that night.

We started the day at 5:45, climbed on Mount saronim, ein saronim, Khan went to saronim and back to Highway 40. We finished the second day at 11 a.m.

Bus and returned to Beersheba.
