Hello to everyone!
I read many testimonials on the Trek in the area of Zagori. Pindus Want to travel in a month.
Not sure we have enough days for the Trek. I wanted to know how much it is recommended that the first day of monodendri to the papigo has been the decrease in the North Lodge (papigo has, can't remember the name).
Is one better than the other?
The first day is in my understanding, what's today?
Thank you..

Hello Sivan

Help everyone if you add a link for you. So it can help you.
I traveled in the Pindus mountains some time ago (at the end of the first Millennium) but it was a course that I built and I know the route you plan.

During my trip I started konica town (where you going from cabin North) and went through the Valley to Lake and drkolimani EOS in the cabin.
The plan was to continue North another day then turn East towards of to-but around the cabin we were attacked by a sheep dog (Lonely Planet book warned them) and a region battered dogs changed my plans and went out to the cabin and then-within the vicus cultures to monodendri.

So firstly I wanted to warn you about herding dogs.
Waving a cane should help (we weren't at the time sticks) and the casting of stones to the dog but not kind.

Regarding the specific question you asked:
If you mean the section between the cabin to konica (via the EOS), I think it's a better thing than the between-of the vicus cultures Valley (which is nice).
Note that this is by no small altitudes (over 1500 m) and at least at the time a part of the trail between the EOS to the hut was not easy to find.
I end up with two reservations are required:

1) beautiful one necessarily pretty after so that others may disagree.

2) we went up and a long time ago so that things can change.
