I understand he has a compass. The question is whether that eliminates the need for the movement to obtain-Greece Reports of Tilapia.

Strange. All the devices that have been under, it was an option to show the direction the device by displaying an arrow or in more advanced cases would also rotate map. It's also usually a matter of settings.

I find it hard to believe that the situation is not that ETREX30.

In eTrex30 the device freezing once stirring. It has nothing to do with the settings. It's just the situation.
Once stood the map. Don't help to hang to the sides. The map or the cursor just moving.
To return the device should go "ל"חיים repeatedly and I'm not talking about a step or two. Need to go at least five meters.

Amnon thanks for the response.
Must specify what you wrote seems illogical and decided to poke around a bit in the nmtsuti network following video that displays rotating map without moving horizontally. (I'm not sure I had satellite reception inside)

I check on my device if the compass settings allow what you see in the video.
If it exists then just asked for four years:)

It was fast and I went!
All I had to do was reset the compass-what I didn't ever.
Now the device responds to every move:( This forum.

Rotate in place without moving the cursor with the map and move as large:)

The unregistered handset guidelines or recommended to make a compass calibration. Not nice!

So now the device almost perfect:)
Only little complaint about inaccuracy in measuring heights (but may need to calibrate the barometer do also regularly)
That leaves the only complaint on a small display space. But to learn to live in peace for a weight of 140 grams.

And I sure have a problem with comprehension.

Suddenly I remembered that there was a similar thread about six months ago. Maybe it will help someone.

For those of you who recruited members question whether aipad can be a substitute for snow p. s. his map bigger and clearer than etrex and 30שלי can take him through books, but of course not take both because of weight

Get the battery but problem I open the p. s. only when necessary and for a short time if the tbrbarti orientation

This is a walk on Hess d.t. beginning 28 this month thanks in advance

If you have that iPad, Yes. It can substitute. But the problem is definitely the battery. This giant screen Devourer. He also doesn't seem very easy and compact for thru-hike.
I recommend personally with smartphone. Much smaller and easier (though not sure it lasts a lot longer on the smaller screen battery, but the battery too), and is useful in General. You can download all the maps of the CDT (I have oplein file of all for, but right now it is suitable only for phones running Android), and/or installing the application of guthook (that also have Apple devices, so you can buy for the iPad).

I also have the etrex30, I remember they recommend to calibrate it after every time you bring your batteries.

I don't have complaints about:)

Actually I bet (from manual):

And I saw you should also set the battery type (I still use a rechargeable battery, it may be time to switch to hlitium):

Question: assuming that all the battery of powerful Smartphone (wifi, 3 g, bluetooth ...) powered, battery life GPS derived from serious consumer – the screen.

Is there an option to choose "pramtithe view" to prolong battery life (I'm not just talking about contrast, brightness but actually lower resolution)?

Has Israel maps of Grameen. Some old but good. I think they're from 2011.
I purchased them at full price SD was single purchase I made of Grameen maps.
The rest are available to download older releases online. There are also plenty of compatible maps, Grameen

Has a large selection of free maps (extra charge).

Like tilapia, to our correspondent tiny little selection but less successful (and free)

And if you have extra time, you could always create your own.

The link I gave dawn brought 2 sites that provide maps
