Hi, I have very little time to decide (by tomorrow morning it's hardly too actually) and I have no idea. Also not very clear differences. If anyone knows a little more than it really can help, thanks! :)

Two great routes but there are some differences between them.
TMB is a circular route and AV1.
TMB much better known internationally than TMB AV1 far more travelers during busy season.
TMB passes in 3 countries (France, Italy and Switzerland) while all AV1 (with Austrian influences).
TMB less luxurious than the AV1 (and in my opinion the food), but there are plenty of alternative accommodation options.
TMB allows you to select certain sections of low easy route by foot instead of high and difficult route. In AV1 for most such a choice cannot
TMB including typical Alpine landscape more glaciers, lakes and snow-capped peaks. In less dramatic scenery and AV1 more pastoral.
Both runways are suitable as first alpine experience. A little longer TMB (180 km compared to 150 km).
I've heard opinions on either trails. Whoever made them eagerly reporting on pleasure.
Now choose

I would add that because many regular transport flights and very to Chamonix and is a circular route, arrival-TMB and much more simple (and inexpensive) compared to the AV1.

It is not necessarily true because I come from one central objective (Geneva) has four main access targets AV1 (Munich, Venice, Verona and Milan).
Thus the probability of finding a cheap flight to one of those objectives is larger than jungle.
