Hello everyone,

I intend to go to GR11 in mid-July and I have a few doubts about clothing. Currently the clothing system consists of:

Top-hat, nose

Torso-sprints Jersey, long sleep shirt, icroplis, raincoat

Lower body-hiking pants, tights 2 pairs of underwear, sleep

Foot shoes, 3 pairs of socks

This leads me to some questions:

1. is icroplis (The North Face TKA 100 Glacier) enough or in Down in addition?

2. does the decision to forego the rain pants is the right decision or if I'm going to regret it?

3. how strong the Sun of July and August in the Pyrenees? The question stems from ahatlvatot if you take long or short set of shirt and trousers.

4. What about the need for stocking hat and gloves

5. would you add/decrease certain items?

I would appreciate your help!

In reference to it in GR11 last summer:
Assuming that your bag is less then 2 c sportswear (tights + t-shirt): unnecessary, but it's a matter of personal style, I don't see any reason to carry an extra pair of clothes to about 900 miles only can sleep in them.
A balaclava and gloves took used them once.
And there was also rain (dropped down too!) rain pants.
About pants better dissolution.
Regarding the above, I would only if DOWN lightweight (up to 300 g) is used only in the evenings. (Which is also a form of indulgence).
The Sun could be quite strong you decide how to avoid radiation. (Don't forget sunscreen!)
If you have any further questions about the GR11, contact me.

1. two layers should be long enough 2-pants!!! Don't have a 15-euro bank Decathlon
3 I took running pants and fall apart in my opinion.

Although I haven't done any for just about 3/4 of it. But I was running pants and used once. We were there for a late season (mid-August onwards), but relatively cold and had used them. I took one pair of trousers is falling apart, and that was enough.
About the cold night-that's very individual. I'm not lying to him, but I had a very cold night. I haven't felt the need to sleep with clothes on, but sometimes days end relatively early, and assuming you don't sleep in Refugio (we slept all night in a tent), it's no fun to pass the time in a bag so beautiful out. I'd recommend taking another warm layer to wear (say a coat), and taking three minutes isn't sock and gloves weighing almost nothing.
Ditto for you pants don't need them until you need them. We only had one day of rain, so towards the end of the trip, and I was very happy that I took off my pants. Amadrin also wear rain pants visited all wet vegetation, to keep worldliness pants (I didn't do this).
Max start and find a place to buy on the way.

And sunny days. We went with a t-shirt and got a spray of Sun protection cream and it worked fine.

I was there in August several years ago wool hat-gloves (if necessary use SOCKS!).
The Sun in the afternoon as strong as on Earth.
Yes rain pants tights-for (but that's a matter of taste).
Long shirt + ikroplis was fine for me.
My sleeping bag was 0 and to vast majority of nights (but I sleep dressed).
Spend!

Thanks to respondents. In the light of altered the plans, apparently dating:

Top-hat, nose

Torso-sprints Jersey, icroplis, raincoat

Lower-body walking shorts are, 2 pairs

Foot shoes, 3 pairs of socks

* On clothing changed I decided to give up and instead take a silk liner (accompanied by sack minus 7).

Two final questions to the experts Forum:

1. I'm torn whether to take short running shorts. Since I rely on a pair of pants, I think another couple will be useful to extreme cases where it's raining tear/walk shorts (or decide to spend the night in Refugio and then have to grapple with philosophical question which is better-hang out with wet pants or underwear). Your opinion?

2. about 100 microplis-icroplis possibly are July-אוג׳ in the Pyrenees? Is there a significant difference between 100 of TNF icroplis compared to icroplis as the company's Outdoor 100 price third- (Assuming they're both in the same weight)

Trousers, you can pass if necessary, as it will be enough to gain places in the Refugio you can spin with a skirt, no one gets excited.
If silk-liner thing to add insulation-to-hygiene affairs that I don't want to walk miles each and preferences.
From any ikroplis, mpnrsh not enough, even if the number of nights that temperature. Falling to the 0 is smaller.

As a rule, I wouldn't compromise regarding to save body heat you like mini ה"פינוקים liner, silk nightwear (what is this? Pajamas?), I'd give first and foremost.

Take a thermal bath or gatecs and tipthor breaks the two-stroke switched in and around Refugio/night.

1 make a very easy home might take. At the time not yet known about the benefits and crossed the prinas with relatively heavy fleece jacket
The ikroplis help with altitude sickness and an early cold shadin Make help you on cold nights before you go to sleep.

2. You just get wet in the rain very much.
Although I went on the more rainy French not had rain pants but in retrospect I was taking. An investment of a few hundred grams.

3. the Sun is strong but not Israelis. I think sunscreen provides.

4 I was taking a set of gloves and a balaclava

The sleeping bag-liner thing I'd concede to heat set with you can also wander around the cabins and a very cold days that may surprise you-liner thing, you can't wear. I'm all for flexibility and multiplication all targets.

No difference in microplisim, he could have blown up but most importantly how much it weighs and what you're comfortable with.
I'm taking now running short shorts (Conference officers) to each Bill can also swim with the lakes and often cold, unless I go with him. It allows very fast walk without limiting the measures to me.

Also if someone have your coat in sizes S/M-Tel Aviv area and could give me to try, I'd love to hear.

There are some bargains. Most of the store is mostly intended for clothing (Columbia, MH, Aztec).

I went away with Columbia's hat and socks of Icebreaker, there is also a bakery supply not bad for someone who was looking for, I also saw someone who buys shoes (I didn't notice what's company).
