Hey,

Two years ago I was walking the TMB and last year walked the full route of the Camino De Santiago for 35 days.

At the time I was in really good shape this year wasn't too active and feel in top shape.

An American friend and I weigh the GR20 hike in early August, we're not pressed for time and we have no problem to do the track also took 20 days and we both walked and carried enough and come to compete in the Foreign Legion or any travel after rising before the Sun to reach the Refugio or cabin (we had it on the Camino sang last year).

Humble opinion, if we have a portfolio of approximately 14 pounds and tent, we can survive the lack of peak fitness?

(The Camino walked with 22 kg on last month and for the last week I added another track a portfolio of 10 kg of the Dutch who sprained his leg. And then became my:). So weights don't really bother me, as you can read)

I'd love to recommendations and references. Currently torn between the GR20 and the High Altitude Trail or any other place you don't need to book huts six months in advance.

Thank you

Shay

I don't know if you noticed, but this forum is not a forum of carrying on your back ", on the contrary.
However, the temptation to get a date for 10 kg big bag
But what's the question?
The two routes you'll do great.

That's not what I meant, I don't have an ounce of competitiveness or to carry over, on the contrary. Just mention that walked the Camino as a jerk with 22 kg while the rest carried tops 13 kg on his back and laughed. But it was definitely worth it to add a few more pounds and gain a girl:)

The question is whether we need a high level of readiness and is worth doing it in August.

At least about the GR 20 I can tell he just doesn't look like he's El Camino, between hard to very hard.
So hard to very hard but would be fine.
