I'd love to tips/suggestions/comments on the following list.

Is intended for short trips (1-2 nights) in the Canadian Rockies in late August.

We partner, when this list reflects my personal equipment + equipment.

The equipment I double two (in "weight on my back") to not be counted twice.

In practice if 13 kg per bag, the weights of each case are probably the 11 and 15 kg.

Weights shown in red are approximate only and not yet observed.

Dry weight (without food and water) 9.3 kg.

As a sanity check, if I remove all the equipment and cooking and reduces by half the weight of the backpack, dry weight of 4.5 kg (parallel since "cabins).

For a three-day trip in size need food for ~ 2 days, assuming 1 kg of food per person per day, needs to add 2 pounds of food. In addition 1.5 liter of water.

Total weight 12.8 kg each bag some more surprises, just 13 kg, which gives weights of 11 and 15 kg each.

How do we go from here?

Audio.
Your heavy equipment. Easy to sit behind the keyboard and give you recommendations to trgoman money and lots of it, I guess you know the options available and therefore can help.

As for things that seem unnecessary to me: an inflatable cushion, wallet, camera (be careful here because I know there are people that one reason they leave the House) – I really like have videotaped memories but it disconnects you from the road, in my opinion enough make coat quality and may give up the brass, 300 g-repellent alternatives there are easier (if a single nights in space is not bad at all wipes that do the work and you can get exactly what you need) , Clogs-since I started walking with Traill rners stopped carrying Sandals/slippers.
You are not the end of the day need for ventilation, the feet breathe, stop feeling like two weights at the end of the day walking. And dehydration very quickly if you're lucky and Missy ethera. Worth checking out. As for mrein things and other mushrooms in the communal showers. Don't argue.

Hey, thanks for the reference:)

Regarding the equipment, the only thing that might stand up to replace the mattresses. If you sell the existing and new Thermarest, Acne can probably download ~ 300 g from a total of ~ $ 200.

About tent and, I think they're relatively light (1.4 kg per tent three seasons, and 1.1/1.4 kg per sack of 15F) and of course we can lose more, but the cost has been climbing significantly, so I think it's not going to happen. As PS files. :(

The slippers I try to leave behind and set in place a makeshift mattress platib ways there. Something that weighs only 20 g: http://cache.backpackinglight.com/backpackinglight/user_uploads/1303776791_41905.jpg

Because of the weight on your back, I'm a little afraid to go to trail raners. Fulfilled if I switched everything off 4 kg back, but only to save the kid's slippers ... My relative shoes (Moab Mid Merrel) then the truth I have no problem either to stay with them.

This repellent my Kit alone, when we get to look what the recommended products and I hope that we can find something easier. And told us we could be in it at all will not be necessary.

A wallet may remain in the car, at least. It was probably more assess in terms of weight. But the camera stays on me:), Syrian

Don't know how much this will help, but I suggest you read the latest discussion about weight yankale equipment to TMB.
He began the discussion with a 10 kg and less than 6.0. Respectable!
If you don't learn something, at least have a sense of humor yankale:)

You're young? I don't think we have a special problem with 15 kg for trips of 1-2 days.
Olterliit's idea is intended more for long routes and becomes more relevant as you get older.
There's no reason to start investing large sums. If you're going to get to the PCT so you hear dock zemirot others

There is something, but always fun to drop two kilos back. It contributes to the pleasure and increases chances of return trips like this in the future (and stay only with cabins), including a long trail of truth as you specified.

But yes, I guess to get dry weight of 7th area 9.75 kg, we will need to invest at least $ 1,000 for each of us. Prefer to spend it on more skiing.
