So on Thursday night I flew in order to go to Iceland's length from North to South. The problem is currently in Iceland are experiencing the coldest summer in the past 20 years. There are still very large amounts of snow in much of the country, and the area is especially problematic for me is between Nyidalur road to Askja f910 currently does not allow.
Anyone have any creative ideas? Maybe East-West?

Another destination is irrelevant because canceling the card cost me a fortune. Not horrible like forensics, the problem is that it's not hot enough to melt the snow accumulated winter.

Eyal (imtl) even at a loss. I think to continue West from mioaten towards Bleiksm?rardalur and from there South to Case, to nidallor. Does this mean anything to anyone?

Gil Goffer flew to Iceland a few weeks ago. He wrote a bit on the Forum, and on Facebook. Try to locate it and you might get updated intelligence and ideas.

I'd love to hear a report!

Have fun..

Was this guy shoot, I think it's age: you're talking about, we declare a few weeks ago that he goes to Iceland, but he didn't do it.
If you do not experience serious walking in snow and ice, so don't take chances. This is not a country that can get you in a few moments. When you're on your own heilands. They just come to the rescue. (The man in the rescue services really told me asked me where I wanted to send a sailor.)
I was flying and the design. Better try filling. If you know what you're doing.
East and West don't seem particularly attractive. I more trust than gontan Lei and trauma on Andrew skorka

I have tried walking in snow/ice and certainly not up to it. Because the cement area with snow, who must rise of Askia herself covered in snow and sure as possible, draw up the runway toward the case. Can be a bit of a bummer to go half way up a dirt road, but at least I can be sure it is open. And I prefer one continuous path from launching try to improvise short tracks.
Right now I'm checking option to a small Valley called makapon BLEIKSM?RARDALUR, which looks very nice and in some maps it appears. Save me two or three days of walking on the road.

Try to consult with guest M?drudalur which dominates extensive areas in the region.
There's a nice girl named Elizabeth who knows the area very well and I'm sure she can help you with reliable reports from the field and possible solutions.

Thanks for the tip. I fear that this farm a little away from the area that I plan to follow it, but it's a great idea. Try to contact the farms in the area.

The farm dominates a vast area including the askiia access. I don't think there's any other farms in the area. We walked there with Elizabeth in 2010. She knew the area as "Dewey" and has direct contact with all the Rangers in the area. I really recommend to contact her to obtain information in real time.
Wish you an enjoyable and successful trip.
