I sent a question thread of the PCT to learn what they do there.

[Quote = On; 589807]

.... I don't think there is a section on the PCT required a two-lift of water (~ 50 miles without any water source, possible road out to somewhere is sitting). So this Bill in Israel will be harder.

Regarding your last question-is of course a very personal and depends on the shape and pace of each, and the amount of water that is needed. At some point on the path, I think that * I * got close to 10 miles on a gallon of water, a path not difficult, hot day and I had to reach a water source away. I think most visitors cut loose with 2 liters of water on me, if I knew that water availability later in the day.

I learned something important: can you solve the water problem in the Negev with an extension of the walk in places where it is possible, reduce the amount of water on his back.

There are various sections require water for two (seemingly) no water source in a way that you can count on:

1. night parking lot surveillance Oron (deviation for the ב"ג)-approx. 33 km including Crest and midreshet Ben Gurion.

Some do it in one day including the founder of LONLEY PLANET approached the year 70, and the section without difficulty three years ago.

The owners of fitness suits don't have to recover. Try to restore it at the end of the winter.

2. the garage due to mitzpe Ramon-55 km walk.

It is nearly impossible for one day and a day and a half has a problem because not allowed to stay outside the campgrounds.

3. colors-Sapphire garage walking distance 40 km.

The solution here is relatively easy: taking 7.5 liter drinking water. Extend the first day till night parking in the 28 km-aggregate is quite possible.

The next morning continue to Sapphire (approx. 11-10 km easy) and within 3 hours.

Not to mention resolving travellers daily. These share the path differently.

What is your opinion?

From the parking lot to mitzpe Ramon can go way up thirsty and snake eye water tower (drinkable water in winter and summer require purification)
Can water on the farm (requires purging all year) or eye (this name requires primarily that the filtering organisms infested waters)
Those who insist to go with no tolerance to any water source (for this tiny deviation) carry 7-8 liters. Not a big disaster because it's weight is reduced.
I'm not a fan of landfills for Israel. Who goes up for winter (those?) can handle all parts with a little extra lift.

The variance to the eye increases the heat through at least 5-6 km, and there is a parking lot. Need to go back to the parking lot or garage snake farm.

Water purification (on farm) is a good option in winter and spring. Farm water source eye too. You can cross the Negev without burying

But it requires in addition to the longer sections of walk. After school go from Arad to Eilat (?)

If and how you manage without landfills and/or water bouncing at all.

This will be my fifth walk into the desert of Israel. (Twice went South North North South and twice)
Never used atmanot. Carried 8 liters in sections and that problem is over. Unpleasant but not terrible.

Carrying water for a day and a half, it's not a problem at all, the weight comes off. Sustainability in the life of landfills Berger and Amir gdenor and co-payments.

Whether your plan is without private landfills and/or water into wine? If positive, please put her in here, compare it to visitors

And there too.

יענקל'ה, Hart's plan no longer appropriate winter (January)-

In addition, you can count on this opinion to have water? Or just as a backup to atmanot stolen?

Thank you

They have a working plan to 2016. January is not caught. The pilot is up and the owners successfully in my opinion to rely on water.

There. The goal eventually is to backing but not atmanot.

At least in the next few days/weeks I don't think that will be a problem with water in the Negev after all the rains in the area and probably left a lot of puddles can be Pelter

In General, I think it's not easy to find a uniform formula for everybody on the subject because there's water carrying the large differences in water consumption and carrying capacity between different travelers.

Few people who engaged in water back. Most of them are here.

And that's too bad. Simple filter (no chemical contamination and virus filtering) weighs nothing and costs little.

I have the filter for many years and served me a lot of our tours in the desert and when there was no desire to carry too much water.

Among other things, also serves as a means for emergencies.

Thanks to all the writers.
Yankele-notification opinion water problem is cost me (assuming that the tank that was installed at the base?) warrants a separate entry under the title reflects the contents of the report.
People rely on water at this point, it's too bad that the information doesn't come to need it.

I updated the list with oikishbil water. This is a list of people rely on it.

It seems to me that the problem won't be solved soon, if at all.
