Hello everyone and all!

We go in the summer to 3.5 weeks in Norway, most of whom rolling with a rental car and single tracks in the fjords area, with some from the trip we want to devote a short Trek of two (narrow) iotnheiman. A family of three (17.5-plans-all hidden here and reading quite a lot, and Ben Ben 13.5 9.5), this band's first real Trek (the Golan last summer and many single days tours in Israel and Europe).

We're closed on one day to go from GJENDESHEIM and MEMURUBU to other than to MEMURUBU GJENDEBU. We thought at the beginning of a day of walking, but I prefer to focus on two to not be difficult on small (almost!) and we want to go between the cabins of the port have surely escape "-a way to cut back to Oslo public transport in case of an emergency.

So ... A few questions:

-Topographic maps: where get-in order from the Internet/b, the first cabin DNT, can rely on a schematic image map (not getting neat paths)?

On the first day he's planning to go the the famous BESSEGGEN. We tend to go towards harder-from GENDESHEIM to MEMURUBU but realized that divisions and ideas I'd love to hear from someone who was there, what he thinks. (Don't go with a lot of weight because sleep in shacks and huts and generally prefer to travel with a minimum of equipment, and there is a problem of fitness, ability to walk)

-How to get to public transportation GJENDESHEIM I realized there was a bus but not found anywhere on him, invite him tickets

And last question: we have no reason to get all the equipment for trekking trip and I want to keep him in left-luggage facilities in Oslo. Anyone know/try something like this and can recommend?

And of course if you have highlights, tips, comments, etc.-would love to hear that too.)

Hey Venus (?)

1. topographic maps, we found excellent ut.no's maps are for planning and execution. Due to the expensive price of topographic map in Norway we printed the relevant sections and use them. Overall our experience from the field check was positive and rarely speaking navigation issues (definitely not a iotnheiman).

2. the journey from East to West on the bsgen not difficult, need to take into account that it is very susceptible to wind and weather was contemplating the exit. I think this is the preferred option since the increase in chains from a very sympathetic morovo — uncomplicated flavors less reduction. From the point of view I don't think there is a big difference.

3. about busses-I think I'm riding with nor-way The tracks have just this summer so you might not find what you want at this stage. Anyway you should try rom2rio too.

Some other things:
1. amazing iotnheiman. I would recommend step during your stay in Norway in rheiman (to trek longer or) Although recall there challenging trails and to inspect them according to young swimmers.

2. an excellent site to get updated about weather is Norway yr.no, have fun!

1. great selection of track days to you! All enjoy it.

2. it is not necessary to buy topographic maps to this track, there's enough good maps and track website that is very clear and there is no where to be confused. (Just going along.) Anyway take a branch code DNT map in Oslo and if you want you can also phone in the map that hangs in the front cabin.

3. we went in the direction that you plan in my opinion shouldn't be a problem. Although the majority of people choose to go out the other side. Of course if nothing weather (high winds, rain) as the teacher didn't do the first day that the section of the bsgen's knife can be smooth and dangerous.

4. don't know whose bus gets there but I'm sure if a day you land go to Oslo central station and find out so you can get tickets without a problem.

5. in relation to the left we left equipment hostel equipment that there and returned to him at the end of the Trek, I believe you change at and there won't be a problem to put in the room save equipment of the hotel (possibly in Exchange for a small fee, but no more than that.)

Hey,

Thank you both very much!

I understand that there is no reason to be under pressure from bus and skip buy topographic maps. With Greece the track wait for weather, I didn't know about the difficulty in rising from mmorovo so try to go in that direction.

Thanks again! Photos and report later.

Made a Lieutenant from GENDESHEIM. Wasn't easy. The road was narrow. Divide the sides.
Although I saw that families do this

Hey Venus, hope it's not too late to answer you.
Last summer I traveled wherever you plan to travel, so.
Buses run every day from Oslo and go to iidensheim, check about the various discounts (purchase, young people, children, etc.)

From iidensheim to mmerovo-, the first half especially but not increase too much, along the bsgen is very nice, need to be careful and take your time but I have seen quite a few kids that day managed to do it.
In the eyes of today's more challenging and you should consider whether to do it with a little boy for iindbo mmerovo to a very steep decline got (around 500 m height quite the way) with all sorts of pchpochi streams that make it to slick and need to use quite a bit of rope length (and actually no views will differ dramatically from day one, although as noted are amazing). May be you can try to go another way without this reduction, but you should check how long it increases.

Therefore I suggest you consider another option-give up sleep mmerovo and return the same day with delivery to iidensheim, to sleep there and make another near the cabin.

Another tip if you decided you want to sleep in mmerovo there is an option to send the file with your stuff on the boat and he will arrive in the evening to the cabin, the cost is not high and allows you the comfort during the trip and afterwards. I've used this service on foot from iidensheim to mmerovo and mmerovo to iindbo walking.

Enjoy!
